Our comment from DrivingSchoolsTOP.co.uk about Moto GB Ltd:

Moto GB Ltd is known for its outstanding service, with many customers praising the quick delivery and excellent customer care. Customers have reported receiving their orders within 24 hours, and items are usually well-packaged and as described. The company offers a wide range of motorcycle parts and accessories at competitive prices, allowing users to save significantly compared to other online options.

Many customers have shared their positive experiences, highlighting the knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always willing to assist. In particular, there have been mentions of stellar service when it comes to handling orders and providing support, making Moto GB a reliable choice for motorcycle enthusiasts.

However, some users have expressed dissatisfaction regarding customer service issues, particularly in terms of communication and stock availability. Complaints suggest that responses to inquiries can be slow and that some orders may be placed on back order without adequate notification. Therefore, potential customers should be prepared for possible delays and should verify stock before placing orders.

Overall, while there are areas for improvement, Moto GB Ltd is still highly recommended by many for its service quality and product selection.

Fantastic experience: Ordered numerous parts from them. Always received next day. Also had to return an item no longer required (no fault of MotoGB). Refund issues very quickly once return received

Fantastic experience: I have ordered numerous parts I require as spares for my MGB Moto R8 scooter online from this company. The response and customer service has always been exemplary and items well packaged. Delivery always prompt via DPD. I recommend this business.

Negative experience: Purchased a MGB ATX125 Adventure bike from a local dealer back on 2022. Here we are in 2024 and I've literally had two years worth of hell from this bike. Dealer no longer interested and not responding to emails. I would highly discourage anyone from buying this model of bike.

Negative experience: They sell cheap brand and no assistance whatsoever. Many other serious and professional retails around to waste time with MotoGB. Cheap seller!

Negative experience: STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUYS! I bought two bikes brand new and one came with a manufacture problem to the back wheel and the front fender. The fender was reported on the day one and warranty case opened and unfortunately the back wheel was only discovered after two month had a little bump in it. There's no assistance from this guys what so ever and they try always to blame you also for manufacture problems. No reply to email and they bully you on their response. Please buy elsewhere as you do need assistance when things happen to your brand new bike which you deffo won't get from them. They only interested in the sales. Doggie people stay away.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a lowered seat for a Benelli TRK502X on 03/07/23. The shop and parts' staff responded quickly, were friendly and helpful, and although it apparently had to come from Italy with an estimated delivery time of two weeks - which I thought was very reasonable - it arrived, by DPD courier, two days later on 05/07/23! Great service and I got 15% discount off the list price and free delivery thrown in.

Negative experience: They sell bikes which are not fit for purpose on the road hence why the parts department is the most in demand service and you can never get parts. Sold me a new bike which fell apart after the first service, I was involved in a big crash due to the front wheel failing on the bike and coming loose, showed little remorse or care to help resolve situation and I had to go through dispute services. I have nothing positive to say, any company willing to roll a dice with your life due to poor quality bikes is not worth it, should be zero stars.

Fantastic experience: Called to enquire & order a part and with a couple of questions regarding specs for a bike, very helpful on the phone and quick delivery on the part I need. Thank you!

Negative experience: Should be zero stars!!! Dreadfull, very few parts in stock and now waiting over 3 months for parts on 'back order'. Staff are excellent, l feel sorry for them having to work for this third rate shoddyoutfit. Use Ebay

Positive experience: Not worthy of 4* but better than 3* I ordered a part that was showing in stock only to receive an email stating that it wasn’t and had been placed on back order. The email was confusing,at the start it said that it was placed on back order and that I would automatically be refunded.Further down the email it states that if the item had been back ordered and if you didn’t wish to wait for the back order then you had to call to request a refund. I called and was told that the email was incorrect and that they did have stock in store and that they would email me to confirm this,no email was forthcoming so I called the following day and was told that the item was in stock and was due to be dispatched. A few days passed with no delivery nor any confirmation email so called again, this time to be told that the item was in fact out of stock and the part was being ordered directly from Suzuki.I received a dispatch email from both motogb and their courier DPD. The item has now arrived. Their price was good and the staff that I spoke to were friendly on the several occasion that I had to call hence the 3.5*,but,the company needs to change the way that it deals with orders as there is clearly problems with stock control and contacting customers regarding issues with orders.

Negative experience: Impossible to leave the mailing address. I get so many emails and when I try to unsubscribe it says my email address is wrong. Not fit for purpose

Positive experience: I ordered a part online on the 15th of November, it is now the 30th and I have not heard anything back. No estimated delivery times or nothing, they have already taken payment. No reply to emails, phone calls or social media account messages. Update they replied on Facebook and had the part sent out to me within the next two days.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant after sales service. Can't thank you guys enough for your help. We were at a loss before you got involved and sorted everything for us.

R Taylor 3 years ago

Negative experience: Ordered a bike in September 2020, No communication from local dealer or Moto GB, people who ordered in April 22 received their bikes, reason colour not available, If I hadn't chased I'd still be waiting for a bike that likely would never turn up. Got deposit back paid by pay Pal and this was returned via goods and services so still didn't get full deposit back. I dread what people will have to go through if any warranty issues or parts orders and the service has been non existent.

Pete Field 3 years ago

Negative experience: Terrible company to get a response from. Will not answer the standard sales phone number and try to push to premium 0844 number. Live chat does not work online and no response to emails. I would avoid using them.

Claire Gait 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: I thought carefully about after sales when buying a Royal Enfield motorcycle. I did worry about it a little. My only experience (buying a replacement fork) from MotoGB has been very good. I ordered it and spoke to a nice man who agreed to send it that same day because I was broken down - and 24 hours later the part arrived. The price was fair and I know from extensive research before calling them that they might be the only stockist of the part in UK. Otherwise it would be India. So, I don't think there was anything they could have done to make the experience any better. Thank you for the good service.

Negative experience: Ordered 3 times from them, never received all the items I ordered Trying to order off the website was a nightmare, they rang and said my delivery address was not on the order and when I log into my account all the details are there. Would never use again !!!

Henry Dornan 3 years ago

Negative experience: Ordered part. Wrong part recieved. Took four calls between telling them, them not having the correct part anyway and finally getting a returns form. Could never get the online shop direct but had to be redirected from the parts department. Then had to pay the returns postage myself and now am billed £7.54 for their premium rate number. Tenner plus and a couple of weeks worse off and eventually bought the part elsewhere. Very poor.

lisa micheli 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: Feel like I need to leave a review as I see all these negatives after placing an order online with moto gb. Co. UK they was the only ones showing they had the helmet I was after in my size and it made me worry unnecessarily. I ordered Saturday knowing they open Tuesday to Friday. My order was received Wednesday and fantastic. My only suggestion is they need to mark the order shipped as never got this notification. But thanks just what was after

Simon 3 years ago

Negative experience: Not the best company customer service as they don’t reply to emails or phone calls. Have tried to cancel an order before it was sent out and was ignored so then they take the money and then send the goods anyway, so then try to contact them again and ignored yet again. Would advise caution with this company as they don’t seem to be very customer focused and more about the money.

Hello Please send us the parts you need at [email protected], thank you.

Tom Morgan 4 years ago

Negative experience: Similar experience to other people, online shop, says parts are in stock. Place an order and then your items are put on back order. You don't get any notification that you been put on backorder, to login and check why haven't had your part 2 weeks later... Apparently there's a problem with the front end system talking to the backend system...Followed up twice and to be told that the items are being unpacked of a container from China and be with you in 3 or 4 days. When I questioned why I was being told the same story twice, was told I had to appreciate the complexity of their business and I know that the global pandemic. The guy I was speaking to lost his temper pre-quickly when I wanted to know was when my part would be delivered.

Al Zheimers 4 years ago

Negative experience: They are very happy to take your money but the customer service is shockingly poor when you have a problem with your bike. They wont honour the warranty on my bike even though I have kept to their strict servicing rules. My local dealer doesn't deal with them anymore and they expect me to travel 92 miles to another dealership. A bloke called Lee is full of empty promises and the parts counter personnel, apart from the fact they don't seem to have anything in stock EVER, they are the rudest people I have ever spoken to in my life. I will never spend another penny with this company and recommend others don't either, Spend your money elsewhere

Fantastic experience: I am one of life’s critics when you pay for a service and it falls below a minimum standard. However when it’s exceeded l am more than happy to promote. Every time I’ve dealt with Moto GB they have exceeded my expectations. Ordered item yesterday, delivered 24 hours later. The guys on the phone could not have been more helpful. Thank you. Dave M.

Negative experience: Shocking customer service avoid. Placed an order online for a bike and deposit taken. After one week of hearing nothing I phoned and was told it takes upto 10 days and to wait and someone would call me back. Requested three call backs through their website and sent two emails and still no response. Finally I gave up and phoned them directly (0844 charged number) to be told I was wrong and wouldn't have been told to wait for a call back. I did however get my deposit back straight away. You need to do all the chasing with this company as they just seem to sit back whilst they take your money!!!

Moto GB Ltd

Sorry to hear you are unhappy, but we get hundreds of messages and emails every day so its not easy to keep on top of them all, the best way to contact us is by phone and as you found once you called us your deposit was refunded very promptly.

Luke S 4 years ago

Negative experience: Very very poor customer service. States on the web 3-5 day delivery time 14 days after ordering order still on processing. Rang multiple times to be met with an unpleasant and unhelpful member of staff saying to ring back later, rang back later and another member of staff said they were too busy, rang back a third time and again unpleasant member of staff said to send an email they were too busy. Shocking customer service.

Tony Brenton 5 years ago

Negative experience: Despite their webite saying 100% happy customers, I like most reviewing as a customer cannot rate them low enough. Looks like I am not the only one potentially having to take them to court to get basic customer service either. Very clear high ratings are their own staff, dealers or even by the look of it a delivery driver, saying 'easy access for HGV'. With this dishonesty they get 3.7, without them they would get just above a 1. Bought bike with them providing the warranty. They were doing the legal minimum and have now moved to doing even less than this by refusing to contact me or send copy of warranty contract as the law requires. I wanted to see this for the section on time allowed for repair as they expect me to swallow a 5 month repair without them having to provide anything to compensate for this, even something as potentially low cost as extending the warranty.

Moto GB Ltd
Moto GB Ltd

Hi Tony, sorry to hear you are upset. Like many company's in the motor trade parts supply has been dramatically effected during the pandemic, this would be why you had to wait for a longer than expected period of time to get the work completed. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do to avoid this. Under normal circumstances warranty work is completed promptly. We still stand by the fact that we have thousands of happy customers and continue to provide the best service possible during these strange times we find ourselves

Negative experience: Be careful in this store, as long as they are interested they will be very attentive, when you have a problem they ignore it. Shameful deal, I don't recommend.

Fernando Más 5 years ago

Negative experience: I bought a brake disc for motorcycle keeway tx125 and sent me the wrong one, pay for the return, try calling several times and several times I will transfer with someone else, although they fixed my problem, attention to the public is bad. Your website is also bad, you need to update, The attention to the public by email or when you call their offices is very bad.

Negative experience: Purchased a motorbike, gave deposit, waited a few days for processing, heard nothing so rang and was told the bike wasn't available. Do Not Use, go to a proper bike shop.

Chris Elwell 5 years ago

Negative experience: I already own one MotoGB imported a brand, the bike itself is not a probem. This year I was buying two further bikes for our business. The first one I enquired through the main Royal Alloy Site and was refered to a dealer 200+milesaway. Wouldn't have an issue with that as bike was in stock. However after paying deposit I had no further contact for a fortnight regards delivery (they were arranging courier) When I contacted dealer they were no further forward. I then found a local dealer, and contacted MOTOGB to see if they could arrange supply to this dealer. They were not interested in doing so, I received an email that gave the impression it had been written by a petulant teenager. So not only are they prepared to dump on their retail customers, but also their dealer network. The trouble with providing dodgy service is, you don't know how many sales you are doing yourself out of. Shame because some of the bikes they are importing are tidy, but carry on in this manner and its the oor customer service that will get the product the bad reputation.

Fantastic experience: nice place to get to and very friendly staff

Mark Jones 5 years ago

Negative experience: Moto GB are probably the worst importer I have ever dealt with. If the dealers try to work through a problem with them, They are always 'busy' and never get back to them. 'Phil' is always fiddling with ECU's instead of dealing with problems, and their customer support is appalling. My local dealer got a Benelli part within a week, MotoGB, the supposed importer, said it wasn't available. It's a real shame because the actual Benelli is a nice bike with clear potential, but it won't be getting much market share with these amateurs in charge, and I will not now be following up my TRK purchase with a Leoncino Trail as well, due to the utter lack of support.
