Fantastic experience: Both instructors were awesome, very friendly and welcoming. Since I paid for a 1 on 1 CBT I was with Dave and he explained things very clear and he was very patient with me, at first I was a little anxious but he made me feel comfortable and brought that anxiety down pretty quick. If anyone in the Vale area are thinking of doing a CBT then I definitely recommend going to Vale Moto. It's Sean btw. My google name is not my real name

Fantastic experience: **UPDATE JAN 2025** Got my full A licence today! After a great summer on our 125's we both booked our DAS training & the race was on. Trev passed 1st (only because I gave him my slot & my work commitments ) but I followed suit today. This year's going to be awesome! Ninja 650 for me GSXR 600 for him. Massive thanks to Steve, Jo & Norbert for the exceptional training, amazing support & encouragement. We'll be back for the advanced courses! (March 2024)My husband & I completed our CBT last Saturday with Vale Moto, picked up a new Honda CB125f the next day!! Did a beginner rider hour with little Dave on the scooter & and with Norbert on the geared bike. CBT was with little Dave & Tim & Steve. Every single one of these instructors are friendly, informative, really know their stuff and don't put any pressure on you at all. They're really easy going & easy to talk to. Husband has booked for his theory & will be coming to do his DAS as soon as possible! Thanks to you all! Steve & Jo, you've got a wonderful company here and all your staff are a credit to you! Looking forward to building my confidence & experience to return to do my DAS too!

Fantastic experience: I have had two good teachers in my life. Firstly, Mr Mordecai, third year of primary school. Exceptional ability to engage an interest. Second, 45 years later at Vale Motorcycle. Norbert has the same quality. He is a really engaging teacher, who inspired me with a confident delivery of the CBT course I took last September. He made me feel like I could do it. Never had any interest in motorcycle until last year. A chance conversation led me to choose Vale for my CBT. He was confident, knew his course material, obviously had good training in the philosophy and aims of the company. He never made you feel inadequate for asking a question, or doing something stupid. I did stupid. But just encouraging positive comments. He would ask if we wanted a demonstration. We always said " Yes" . He would demonstrate. No flash, no look what I can do. Just did the job very well. I had the best day, as did my course classmates. Absolutely do this with Vale if you are thinking about it. Thank you fella. A life experience of the best kind. One thing I think would be good is to provide a notebook. Lots of information. POWDER, BOLT , positioning, much more. I can remember, but only because I wrote it down when I got back to the car, and it was still there fresh. A notebook would be good. Not everyone will use. If they don't, use them for the next class. Just a suggestion.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my CBT, and DAS with this school having very little on-road experience. A great school to learn with, plenty of off-road space for manoeuvres, well cared for bikes and an amazing team of talented, patient and passionate instructors. Would recommend to anyone, and will be back at some point to do some advanced training. Thanks all!

Fantastic experience: I one sentence (AMAZEBALLS) The whole team are simply AMAZEBALLS. Had not touched a motorbike for 40+ years, done my CBT with Griff who can`t sing (Sorry) but can tell some fab stories and encouraged me to build my confidence and trust - incredible. Jo (The Boss) you know who`s the real boss Steve - made booking my lessons around work an absolute dream, which meant i could get away with not telling anyone what i was doing. Norbet - Well what is there to be said about Norb`s - this fella is an absolute DIAMOND - hugs,kisses,the stare but a truly great individual. Fantastic experience: I can't thank Dave and Norbert enough, ( sorry if mis-spelt, they were welcoming as soon as we arrived, which put my grandson Ayden at ease for his CBT, he said they were clear with their instructions and this continued throughout the day, which put him at ease. Fantastic experience: Can't thank Griff enough for helping with my CBT, there were a few manuvours that I did stuggle with but with excellent guidance and a bit of persistance, it all went to plan. I was incredibly nervous to do my CBT but between Griff's humour, tutoring and pitch perfect singing, I felt at ease. To anyone considering to do their CBT and are too worried or are slightly nervous at all, I can hands off recommend Vale Moto! Thanks again lads!

Fantastic experience: Quite honestly, there are not enough superlatives that could be used to adequately describe my experience of learning with Vale Moto. From the very outset of my training on the MOD1 course (I made the naïve mistake of doing my CBT with another organisation) the professionalism of the teaching staff and the quality of the facilities easily distinguished it from the competition. My MOD1 course was presided over by Norbert, a guy who manages to skilfully deliver the knowledge and confidence required to undertake the course through demonstrations of his own consummate riding skill and extensive practical knowledge. All this is done in an overarching atmosphere of friendliness, warmth and sincerity. You feel like a ‘biker’ from day one and you are left with the distinct feeling that all people within the organisation are as invested in you passing as you are. I also had the pleasure of meeting Derek whilst doing my MOD1. A truly inspirational fella with a years of riding experience from which he is happy for you to draw from. Chatting to him for 10 minutes will only cement your views on Vale Moto and desire to get that full licence. Having successfully passed the MOD1 I moved straight on to MOD2. Once again, all the characteristics of this organisation and displayed by Norbert and Derek were entirely present with those teaching me the MOD2; Steve and Nick. These guys have a wealth of riding experience. The standard of their teaching is of the highest order. They were clearly not seeking just to get you to pass the MOD2 test but to be safe, effective and consciences riders. At the conclusion of each lesson you genuinely feel that you have improved in both your handling and observational skills. Steve and Nick demonstrate an almost Jedi like level of perception in how you ride and your positioning on the road. Their comments however are never unduly critical or oppressively negative. You are always confident that something is being picked up because it needs adjustment to make sure you are safe and responsible. As with ‘Norb’ and Derek, both Steve and Nick were absolutely top guys. Full of information and anecdotes from years of riding both professionally and personally. At the end of a mid-session coffee break, there was always a slight disappointment that the opportunity to hear from these guys had to wait until the next lesson. This review would not be complete however without also mentioning one other person and that is Jo who handles the administration. I cannot praise her enough for organisational skills, easy-going nature and her ability to handle a middle-aged man child with little patience who, having impetuously bought a bike before having acquired his full licence, had to pass his MOD2 before the end of May. As with everyone else in this team (and it is abundantly clear they are a team) Jo was easy to talk to and receptive to all enquiries and questions. From my initial contact and throughout, Jo was a pleasure to deal with. I’ve now passed my MOD2 (first time thanks to these guys!) and the only disappointment that I have is that I won’t have a regular lesson with one of the team. I intend to address this though by taking up some of their other advanced courses. If you’re thinking of getting your bike licence and looking around stop here, right now. These guys are leagues above the competition in both the quality of teaching and the facilities at their disposal. Save your time and just book with them. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I don’t often leave reviews but I thought my recent experience with vale Moto warranted one. I can’t express enough how pleased I am choosing these guys to learn with, 7 months ago I had never even touched a motorcycle did a 1-1 cbt with Dave which was fantastic and really opened my eyes to riding a motorcycle, I then bought a 125 and was riding for 6 months to get the experience but soon felt the 125 wasn’t enough so wanted to progress to get my full license, fast forward to now and I’ve passed both my mod 1 and mod 2 first time in the space of 2 weeks and I’m picking up my new bike on the weekend. I can’t fault anything with these guys, jo made life so easy with managing all the bookings, the instructors were fun and thorough really making the lessons enjoyable but learning so much at the same time. I honestly can’t fault the experience and I can say I never thought I would enjoy learning so much, fantastic from start to finish and I would highly recommend as the best about. Thanks again guys

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t fault Vale Moto for the training, encouragement and engagement. All the instructors were excellent, extremely patient with all students and delivered high quality training. I passed my MOD 1 & 2 first time with a last minute cancellation due to work commitments. Jo was especially helpful with accommodating my needs. I will be back for advanced training in the near future. Thank you Steve, Jo, Norbet and all the team.

Fantastic experience: Haven’t ridden a motorcycle for 44 yrs. Sat my CBT on 25th October, Passed Mod2 today ( 11th Jan), couldn’t have managed this without the support, help and patience of the team. Everybody has a professional caring manner, helping you to relax and build confidence without overwhelming you. I can confidently and guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Fantastic experience: After leaving it about a year and a half from completing my CBT to looking to complete my Mod 1 & 2 mostly due to poor instructors from another company in South Wales. I was definitely nervous when looking to start my training up again, but the great team at Vale Moto made everything so easy from their great organisation (they book your tests and everything for you so you don’t need to do a thing…thanks Jo!), to their great instructors (thanks Sam/Darryl!) and bikes. Couldn’t have asked for more and managed to pass both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time back in October. If you have a flexible schedule, you can get everything done very quickly as well. Highly, highly recommend Vale Moto. Will definitely be back for some advanced rider training when I get my own bike!

Fantastic experience: Just completed my full licence with VMT Ltd, great training, great experience and all done with a great 'crack'. Did the lot with Vale: New Rider (Dave), CBT (Norb), MoD 1 & MoD 2 (Sam), after doing the new rider the rest was all completed over a two-month period. I can't thank all the instructors enough and last but definitely not least, Jo who managed to book all the training and test dates around my very hectic, challenging and inflexible work calendar, no easy job and a great achievement in itself. Fantastic experience: Can’t fault these guys. Did my cbt in July and passed my mod 1 and 2 by September after never being on a bike. Really professional outfit, I live an hour away but worth the drive to use their facilities much better than anything near me.

Fantastic experience: I have just came back from a CBT renewal with these guys, I can honestly say it was a great experience, pleasant instructors to be around and are always there to help you along the way. I have picked up some bad habits over the last 2 years since my last CBT and brushed up on them today. I highly recommend Vale Moto Training *****.

Positive experience: Excellent trainers on site for expert advice really can't fault their knowledge and skills however i do wish I'd known I had to bring my own helmet and gloves due to ongoing covid issues 21/07/22, however they do sell helmets and gloves on site if you do make the same mistake I did

Fantastic experience: Did the new rider training with Chris before my CBT. Great set up and a relaxed instruction with no pressure from Chris. He made sure that I started on an automatic before going to a geared bike. Took us through the starting and stopping (essential really!) and then let us practice putting all the elements of riding together before we tackle the CBT. Definitely recommend this 1 hour course before going onto CBT. Booking process with Jo was really easy Cracking motorcycle training with really friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend this school enough. They have the best availability that I've seen. They have plenty of bikes so a few people can train each session and a great set of trainers. Really good space for mod 1 or CBT training and the mod 2 roads near by are really nice to ride. Also Jo is very helpful too

Fantastic experience: Recently completed a rusty rider day at the vale with instructor Derek Dew. I found the day absolutely invaluable having not ridden for 20 years. Derek was fantastic and structured the day to suit my knowledge and ability but also made it fun and very enjoyable. Later that day i collected my CB500x and have settled into riding again really well, thanks to the team at Vale.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT with these guys on a couple of occasions (over several years) and found them to be excellent to deal with every time. They can provide all the kit and a bike if you require or alternatively, none of the above (if you've already got it) and will price accordingly, which is actually very fair. They're pretty competitive with regards to pricing, when compared to other test centres in the area. They offer a range of motorcycle courses and instructions, depending in what you need and all the instructors and associated staff I met were really good at what they did. They were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and kept things relevant, but still interesting. If you're thinking of learning or need to get ready for the next stage in your licence, then you can't go far wrong with these guys.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my training (sat in the test centre at Bridgend) after passing and I’m really pleased I trained with Vale. Took up the hobby in February and obtained my full license on 29th May. All the advice and training was first class, better still, it was great fun. Instructors Kurt, Simon and Steve took care of me and each had a different style which suited my strengths and weaknesses. The bikes provided were first class. Great local business.

Fantastic experience: Amazing job for my CBT today. They went through it with a lot of detail in the beginning for a good amount of time and the way it was taught was good confidence building, which really helped us first timers. At times I thought am I really going to get through this, especially the mod 1 and the turn in the road. With their help and guidance I passed both first time. If you are looking to learn, in my opinion you could not go to a better school.

Fantastic experience: Completed my cbt here. On this review I will be as honest as I possibly can. This training centre provided myself with full cbt training along with learning about the road. Even after holding a UK licence for over ten years I finally bit the bullet and went for my compulsory training. I have to say the instructor who took us out and showed me the ropes was one of the nicest blokes I have met. Explained everything in the best way for you to learn and progress throughout the day. Fantastic experience: Superb training school ! All instructors are professional , patient , and very knowledgeable. Jo in the office will do her very best to accommodate training around your schedule which as a busy working mum was important to me . There is absolutely no pressure and you can take training at your own pace but I guarantee you will learn how to ride a motorcycle safely and confidently . Cannot recommend Vale Moto more highly right from the initial point of contact at the office with Jo who is most welcoming right through to the training out on the road with Steve and rest of the instructors. These guys really do know their stuff so don't hesitate , give them a call ! :-)
