Fantastic experience: Cannot praise Ian enough. Had a horrible experience with another instructor and my confidence was at an all time low when I started with Ian. I’ve gone from dreading driving to loving it. Ian helped me let go of bad habits I had learnt previously and majorly develop my areas of weakness with his calm and understandable way of teaching. Each lesson allowed discussion into what could be improved, how it could be improved and why it needed to be improved. Without this I wouldn’t have passed. Fantastic experience: I initially started in January 2024 with another local Automatic Driving instructor priced at £38p/h. Unfortunately I had no choice but to walk away and find where I supposedly was going so wrong weeks away from test day. What a true breath of fresh air Ian was from my first to last lesson. He supported me properly and made sure lesson dates and times were convenient and if anything needed adjusting he was happy to make it happen. Ian used usefull technology aswell and was happy to go over anything that needed more than one explanation to. I passed today because I had a fantastic teacher and I wish I used him from lesson one. I'll be going for my pass plus with him and in the near future and passing my manual aswell at some point in the future. Ian again thank you so much for taking me under your wing your a absolute diamond.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best instructor in the area I had a lesson with Sue from cats eyes and found it to be awful and got the impression it was all about the money for them, changed to ian and passed with around 6 hours of lesson, he's very knowledgeable and his teaching method is 2nd to none if you want a sure pass he's your guy.

Fantastic experience: Matthew was my instructor. What can I say, Matthew helped me to no end. He is probably the most patient person I have ever met. I really struggled with driving a manual car but Matthew helped me through the process. Being over 40 and behind the wheel for the first time was very daunting but Matthew would always challenge me to get better every lesson. No hour felt wasted and I always learned a new skill. I had a total of 18 lessons and passed first time with 2 minors. I would never have done it without his tenacity for me to pass. I owe him a lot. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Ian Wilcox is an amazing instructor. From my very first lesson with him he made me feel at ease instantly from his humour and laid back approach. He is super professional and the lessons was always well planned out. Previously , I started with a different instructor, however as soon as I started learning with Ian I can say that this completely changed my driving experience, speed of progress and mindset. When learning to drive, he was explaining why something to do and why not. He use supportive technology to show you some roads when you potentially can make some mistakes which was really helpful.
