Negative experience: I regret that I have been unable to leave an honest review using my Google account, but I believe the owner will recognize my last name. Had I known when I began my lessons in January 2024 that an instructor local to the area, who significantly contributed to my passing the driving test, was available, I would have chosen them much sooner. While I invested a substantial amount of money to acquire a lifelong skill, unfortunately, as the date of my test approached, conflicts arose and escalated. My experience with Sue did not align with the description provided on your website. Based on my personal interactions, I understand why there are no automatic pass rates published on your driving school's social media page.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Mike V from Cats eyes enough! When I first started driving, I was so nervous and didn’t enjoy getting in the car. However, during our lessons I felt it was a comfortable and safe space to learn from my mistakes which has made me a better driver! Fantastic experience: My son Morgan throughly enjoyed his driving lessons with Mike from Porthcawl. Mike is very patient, calm and very knowledgeable and makes sure you learn to drive properly. He is a wonderful instructor, easy to get on with and a top bloke according to my son. He has a great sense of humour and is a good laugh! He makes the lessons fun as well as being serious and sensible. My son passed with Mike first time. Highly recommend to hire Mike to teach you to drive safely. His record for passing first time is extremely high. First class service and always on time.

Negative experience: White BMW 1 series reg ending in WEN. The instructor seems incapable of giving his learners the correct guidance on passing cyclists. I'd go with some else's if you want to learn how to drive and no possible incurre points on your licence.

I’m in my 30s and moved over from the USA so I was very anxious about learning to drive again in a new country — but Amy was always supportive, reassuring, and just an all-around lovely person! Fantastic experience: I’m currently having lessons with Amy and can’t believe how calm and confident I feel behind the wheel. I suffer very badly with anxiety so never thought I’d feel at ease in a lesson, or on the roads. Amy has also been really accommodating if I’ve had to cancel lessons if my young baby had been unwell. After every lesson I feel like I have made real, notable progress; which is exactly what you need from a driving instructor!!

Fantastic experience: Today, I managed to pass my test with Mike V As a person who really struggled with nerves and anxiety, Mike really helped me build up my confidence. Mike is a friendly, calm and knowledgeable instructor. I'd always manage to have a laugh with him, and lessons were always such a joy, it would always put me at ease. I always thought I'd never be able to pass my test, as I would have low confidence in myself, but he is so reassuring, and he would always help in any possible way he could, I really could never have done it without Mike. Fantastic experience: Been struggling to learn how to drive for 2 years due to lockdown and medical issue; and I just passed with Kevin. He always tried to fit me in for extra practice and work around my full-time work schedule by offering evening lessons and picking me up at the hospital where I worked. Fantastic experience: I've been learning to drive since August 2020 with Elvis Ballysingh from Cats Eyes Driving School and this week I passed my test first time! I am so pleased and so grateful to Elvis and Cats Eyes Driving School for all the support in learning to drive. I felt very nervous about learning to drive but the approach and patience of Elvis helped me settle into it well and give me much more confidence. I also felt nervous about the test, but Elvis made time to do some extra lessons with me in the lead up to the test, which made me feel much more confident. Kevin helped soo much through my driving times.If you hire Kevin as your driving instructor he will help you dearly and will explain road signs, traffic signs , all driving skills and much more. He has magnificent manners and is soo respectful.I have had many instructors although, they were men and women Kevin was the best out of all of them.I have passed my test because of him and I am extremely grateful for all his hard work and dedication towards me passing my driving test . Fantastic experience: My husband had a good experience with Cats Eyes Driving School so I also chose the same instructor, Kevin Greatwood, for my lessons. He was the most patient and understanding instructor. I had ZERO driving experience but he helped me stay safe for every lesson and from there, built up my knowledge, confidence and skills in driving. He taught me all the basics of driving plus tips and tricks to remember important lessons. One thing that really impressed me is, this company will never let you down. They will drop everything just to help you. They went above and beyond to make it possible for me to take my test despite the unpredictable circumstances. They deserve 10 stars! Fantastic experience: My driving instructor with Cats Eyes was Paula. She was absolutely amazing! I can’t recommend learning to drive with Cats Eyes enough, especially with Paula! Fantastic experience: Mike the instructor was so kind and patient with my 15 year old daughter. Never in a million years did I think she would be doing reversing, slalom and u-turns but Mike had her doing all in an hour lesson. The site was 1000% safe and set up ready for her to start. The postcode on the directions was incorrect and we made the mistake of just using that so we was almost late. Car was beautiful, safe and well kept. Would definitely buy another session for her

Negative experience: Spent some money, and had a really stressful experience, the instructor was really rude, by the end of my lesson I was shaking. Never again

Negative experience: Have to agree with all the poor reviews on here. I once booked with this company, a block of lessons and all I did was drive to the same place over and over. After 20 hours I hadn't even done parking in a bay. Now I'm almost test ready with another instructor I can completely see what this company was doing wrong. Just taking money and not progressing pupil's. The last straw was when I was at a traffic lights which is managed by sensors. I stopped a little too far behind the line but the instructor would not let me move forward, the lights stayed red for around 5 minutes, a driver stuck in the queue behind me came and had a go at my instructor telling him that he should be helping me not letting us sit there backing up traffic. After arguing with the other driver as he didn't want to admit I had been right to ask to edge forward, the instructor made me pullover to allow the traffic subside instead of allowing me to edge forward. Highly anxious moment and made my mind up to quit that day. Its taken me years to get the courage back up to drive again - No thanks to this company!

Fantastic experience: Decided to do some refreshers and picked this school, cause of the agreeable price. Did my driving with Elvis. Honestly, had a great time. He was nice and patient, explained everything really well, didn't mind going through something in depth if I wasn't getting it. Overall, a pleasant experience. Negative experience: Learnt with Steve in Bridgend in automatic and it must of been one of the worse experiences ever . Felt tense in every lesson and was constantly trying to make sure I didn’t upset him or “talk back” as he’d slam on the breaks. Whilst in lessons he slammed on the breaks , thinking i made a mistake I asked oh what did I do wrong , hoping to learn but was told not to talk back. Did an intense course and was told to delay my test and do more lessons , I agreed thinking he knows best. Couple of days before the test he asked me if I thought I was ready which I replied yes and he then text me to say I was making a mistake and pulled the car from the test. Luckily I had my own car ready and my mum stepped in to reteach me ALOT and I can say thanks to her I passed first time with no minors not cats eyes. Mum tried to ring up to say how disgusted she was etc but was told basically that we should be thankful. Would not recommend these guys at all

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with 0 minors! My driving lessons were with Kelly, she was a fantastic teacher and I didn’t have any problems in the slightest, she was also extremely patient with me. Kelly was also very accommodating and fit classes in so they didn’t interfere with my own personal schedule. Would recommend cats eyes to anyone who needs to learn how to drive or need a refresh.

Fantastic experience: I had Kelly as my driving instructor and she was brilliant! She always made me feel at ease and was very encouraging. I would highly recommend as I passed first time and feel very confident in my driving ability thanks to her teaching!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. After several attempts to contact the instructor who after 4 texts still didn't reply we had to wait until Monday to contact the office who sent a very cold email stating we could always rebook and pay all fees again
