Fantastic experience: Done my direct access course last week paid for 4 day course and passed everything first time. Andy was a great instructor and set the bar high so there was no room for error. Also great guy to talk to and have a laugh with while you’re learning to ride. I really enjoyed my training and I am very happy with my pass!! Fantastic experience: After dealing with a total failure of a training centre. I won't name them here, as I shall leave them a review on their site. It has been so refreshing to deal with a professional outfit. They replied to any messages on the same day, kept me appraised of all requirements and were also cheaper than the other mob. I’m totally new to biking and both instructors were brilliant throughout in helping me get to grips with a big bike and prepping me for my Mod 1 which I passed today, first time of asking. I took the 4 day package, so 2 full training days covering everything simple to complex, coupled with a morning of further training before my Mod 1 and my Mod 2 to follow in 2 weeks time. Thoroughly recommend Apexmct. Great communication before the course (from Trish), brilliant training throughout and I’ve had an absolute blast over the past few days! Update - Mod 2 went ahead on 27th Sept (after it was cancelled by the test centre on 23rd) and I passed first time with just 1 minor (I stalled, which I haven't done throughout any of my training!). Fantastic experience: I did my CBT, full access training and tests through Apex and they were excellent from start to finish. Aaron, Andy and Dave were all fantastic instructors throughout the various stages of my training. Fantastic experience: Outstanding customer service and brilliant teachers. They care more about the rider than the money which is shown by how they handle you as a person even before payment. They went above and beyond to make sure I was learning, comfortable and happy while doing my cbt with them. Even going as far to go an hour over the cut off point to help me get to a point they were happy. Honestly couldn't recommend more.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Apex MCT enough, nothing is too much for them. I went from never sitting on a motorcycle to doing my CBT and DAS with them. Trish was fantastic organising all the tests, even when at times it was out of her control with the DVSA cancelling tests, Trish was on the ball and managed to get rescheduled dates with a quick turnaround. Dave and Andy, they are exceptionally knowledgeable and really cater the training at a good level. I work for the emergency services so I’m used to being on advanced driving courses etc and I can honestly say Dave and Andy are at that same high level of delivering quality training. I had a very bad experience with a different company trying to complete my CBT therefore I decided to take a year out, it put me off going ahead with another company. However I am very grateful that I found Apex. From start to finish they were amazing. I completed my CBT in May 2022 I then decided to go ahead with DAS. Dave and Andy were incredible instructors, very patient, polite, well mannered whilst still being able to have banter aiding to calm my nerves. I felt SAFE with them! There is a demand for tests however they do their utmost to get you in and they succeed! I have now obtained my category A license and I couldn’t have done it without Apex. Fantastic experience: Went with Apex MCT as they offered 10% off for emergency service workers. With the cost of everything going up and having a passion for riding the deal seemed attractive. Without any additional research I thought I'd give it a shot. I had been riding on a CBT certificate for just over a year doing the odd few miles here and there. Decided to take their 3 day DAS course. I wasn't an overly confident rider and Def knew I needed to brush up on my riding skills. Andy certainly helped me with that. He asked the right questions and assessed my level of riding before helping me become a better rider. I managed to pass my module 1 and 2 first time. The whole experience from start to finish was good. The whole team are good including Trish and Dave who provided great customer service from start to finish. I travelled from Wolverhampton to birmingham to do my DAS course with these guys and I'm glad I did even though I was not familiar with the area or the roads. Will Def recommend to others. Fantastic experience: Dave and Trisha Clark’s business is excellent from initial enquiry to completing my Direct Access course. I wanted to thank you Trish and Dave and also Andy too for all your help and instruction which enabled me to pass both modules first time. Their professionalism and customer focus is top rate; I really couldn’t fault them. At every stage, from my enquiries to getting on the bikes, every instructor’s professionalism and enthusiasm shone through. I opted to do the 4 day DAS and Andy took us through this part. His calm demeanour really helped settle my nerves, and the structure of the two days to get me to the point of passing was super. Days 3 and 4 were with Dave and when some minor technical issues were encountered Dave’s technical knowledge and customer focus quickly overcame the minor issue. Their instruction style for me was really useful; not over (or under) instructing and sometimes leaving you the rider to go and make the error (as long as it didn’t compromise anyones safety) so I could learn from it. I’ve used two other trainers, and they would often be overly sarcastic, which gets wearing after a while. Neither Dave or Andy did any of this which was a huge relief to me personally. Some of the training was really helpful, for example, going up and using the Mod1 test centre prior to the day (not sure if this always happens as this is subject to DVSA access), then re training the same manoeuvres pre test (and getting them done) on a much more difficult situation, so by the time the actual test came up it felt easier. Their pricing I feel represents excellent value; they won’t sell you something you don’t need. Would I recommend their services? Totally. Had they have charged +£200 more, it would still have been great value. My thanks to Trish, Dave and Andy for all your help. I wish you all a great successful year for your family led business. Bill

Fantastic experience: I did a three-day DAS course with Dave in February 2022 after riding with a CBT since October 2021. Dave was a great teacher from whom I learnt loads in such a short time. Even in the week between my MOD1 and MOD2 tests I felt the benefit of the training, and happily I was able to pass both tests first time on the bigger bike. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Apex Motorcycle Training were fantastic. From initially dealing with Trish over the phone, she was not only knowledgeable about what Apex could offer and their equipment, but also friendly and extremely helpful finding dates to work around me, and the obvious COVID issues when booking tests. I took my CBT with Instructor Warwick, a great guy, easy to chat to, and made the whole day a great laugh. I had never been on a bike before and by the end of the day I was confident on the road and zipping about on the 125. I then progressed onto the DAS (Direct Access), which for the first day was with Dave. An extremely knowledgeable instructor as well, and very light hearted. The 'Day 1' training day was great and dramatically increased my rider skills. It was 2:1 ratio of student to instructor, and that was the perfect amount of time to absorb and then to put things into practise, including the Module 1 test plan. Day 2, was the module 1 test day. Dave talked me through the other elements of the Module 1, practised until we were happy, but all in a very non-pressurised way, he was very supportive! Before the Mod1 test, Dave was a calming influence and delighted to say I passed first time! Day 3, was the module 2 test day. Back with Warwick, we practised our on-road riding all morning before the test in the afternoon. Warwick was again, very supportive and knowledgeable and squashed any concerns. I passed first time as well! All in all, a fantastic experience start to finish, and so pleased I passed everything first time. Extremely talented instructors, made me feel very comfortable and felt very much like a small family run business! Don't make the mistake of thinking by going to a big school you will get a better service, this team is the one...and often cheaper!! Thank you so much all at Apex MCT, I'll be recommending you for some time!! See you on the road!!

Fantastic experience: Joined Apex after trying my luck with Open Road. I liked the Apex instructors ( both Dave and Steve) and school itself much more. The instructors are excellent, very helpful, getting out of the students their best and fixing mistakes in the efficient, professional and not annoying! way. Fantastic experience: Awsome. I really struggle with panic attacks and anxiety and find things like this very hard. Even from just messaging in the phone they were very accommodating. The class was small only two of us and the instructer. From the go he could tell I have bad issues but did not bring up in front of other person and had a little word with me and made me feel at ease. I normally walk away from stuff like this because of my anxiety but the staff made me feel at ease and I passed. All I can say is if anxiety stops you doing things like this I highly recommend Apex. 5 star alround.

Fantastic experience: Updated - Nearly two years on since completing my CBT I booked on my DAS course. Had a great time and a full category A licence to show for it! The three day course was lots of fun and I cant thank Dave, Trish and the team for how accommodating and flexible they have been with booking, re-booking and re-booking my test dates again due to COVID. Look no-where else if you want friendly, affordable and expert motorcycle training! ***** Genuinely nice guys who are extremely friendly and keen to show you how to ride safely, but have fun! Very keen to continue with ApexMCT to book onto a DAS after getting my theory test done. Had a great time today doing my CBT and have walked away feeling I could ride on my own with confidence. What more can you ask for?

Fantastic experience: Dave is a top bloke, great banter and knows exactly what he is talking about! The only way I can explain it is he makes you a better rider without you even knowing it (if that’s even comprehensible) His time was 100% committed to his learners. If not for a riding instructor I would have my Category A license and I am happy I chose Dave. His prices are much better than anyone else in the area but it does not in any way shape the quality of training you receive! Loved the bike I used as well!

Fantastic experience: Done my DAS with Dave & Trish of Apex and after only 3 weeks went from my theory to completing CBT, MOD 1 & MOD 2. Got my MOD 2 done today and am buzzing. Dave is a great instructor and takes pride and care with his business and his students. Great team. Great prices. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Went there for my A2 license. Passed both Mod 1 & 2 first time. Dave is an amazing teacher and quite the funny man. At first I was nervous but he's very friendly and gets your relaxed right away so you can learn better and pass easier. I would easily recommend him if it's anything to do with a bike make the trip to ApexMotorcycle ASAP.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend ApexMCT and Dave for motorcycle training. I did a 3 day course with him leading to a successful pass at MOD 1 and 2. Dave has a great non-patronising way of communicating but is also able to deliver the necessary feedback with good humour. They have plenty of dry clothing to keep you warm and dry on the bike and sufficient bikes to keep you on the road for your training and test. Trish is a great manager and sorts out all the dates and times leaving you just to turn up, pay and ride. On the subject of payment Apex are by far and away the cheapest school in the local area and offer a better, more personalised service than the bigger schools. Also Dave knows where to get a decent cup of tea near a test centre, which if you get caught in a week of classic "British Summer" weather is pretty important.

Fantastic experience: After taking my CBT and getting a 125 I decided I needed something bigger and thought that direct access was the best option, so I start asking friends and local bike shops for a good training school local to me, the name Dave from Apex kept popping up as a very good training school, so I took the plunge and made contact. I ended up talking to Trish the office manager at Apex MCT and she was very polite and explained all my options, gave me dates and a very good price compared to anyone else local, so we got things booked and day one of my training started a few weeks later, a little bit apprehensive at first but Dave and Trish were fantastic, put me at ease and talked me through everything, Dave took me out and to be fair he has to be the best out there , calm voice, well spoken with clear instructions all the time, make a mistake and clear instructions on what I did wrong and what to do next time, this improved my riding I cant fault Dave at all. So, the story continues, we take to the open roads then to the practice site for MOD1 training, the way I thought I could ride would not have passed a MOD1 test, Dave got rid of my bad habits and guided me though how it should be done, I managed a few clear courses and we continued until I was confident and made no mistakes, end result was a MOD1 pass first time. The MOD2 training was very similar with fantastic instructions and not only was this great training we had fun doing so, on the day of MOD2 we trained even more until we were both confident that my riding skills were to an advanced level and I was safe and confident on taking the test, end result MOD2 passed first time with no faults, the examiner said he couldn’t find anything to fault my riding. There is no way I would have passed without the training and support given to me from Dave along with the support from Trish, making this experience in my life something to remember, again a big thanks to both Dave and Trish, if anyone is looking for a great training school give these guys a call, you won’t be disappointed! Fantastic experience: Took my CBT today with Dave having never touched a bike before the course. Was fantastic, I got all the training I feel I needed and got talked through all the controls to be able to ride well and safely, and I was given plenty of time and not rushed through to get to grips with the bike and the controls. Went straight for learning on a geared bike and came away from today feeling like I really made the right choice as Dave was so helpful and enabled me to jump straight into geared bikes with confidence. Price was cheaper than everywhere else I found but did not lose any quality of instruction at all. Would 100% recommend ApexMCT for anyone doing their CBT and I will return to them myself for refreshing and training before my A license. Fantastic experience: Great company, Friendly and helpful. Did my CBT There and had no worries the bikes rode great and the instructor was helpful to the other person i was doing it with. Reason he didn't give me much attention was because he could see i was confident and knew i was there for a renewal. Road ride was great and the instructor is a right laugh. Did my original CBT at another company and don't think i'd ever choose anywhere else but Apex. Great Prices and a great service!

Fantastic experience: I was absolutely bricking it leading up to my CBT due to the fact that I'd never even sat on a bike before, nevermind ridden one. I threw myself in the deep end and chose to go with a geared bike. Dave is the perfect instructor, makes you feel comfortable, safe and most importantly he knows his stuff, of course. I passed and loved the whole experience, honestly the most fun I've had in ages. 100% wouldn't go with anyone else for any sort of motorcycle training. Bonus is that the prices are stupidly cheap compared to their competitors. If you're contemplating learning how to ride, stop thinking about it, just do it, and choose apex.

Fantastic experience: I went through the DAS course with Dave. Both Dave and Trish were very helpful in trying to work around my tight schedule. Dave’s combination of attention to detail and humour made sure the course was a lot of fun and by the time it was time for the test, I knew I would pass. Also, their prices are unbeatable! Fantastic experience: Apex MCT took me through my DAS over 3 days. Dave started me off with two days of riding and training for my mod 1. These two days were an absolute joy. The mod 1 training was made instructional but enjoyable and the rides for some mod 2 practice were fantastic. Pushing me on new roads and changing situations. Just brilliant. I concluded with my final days training with Pete who helped me to hone my skills and pushed me to be better than good. It all concluded with a pass from my examiner an a very happy me.
