I was lucky enough to train directly with Jay, Dan, Nick, Wayne and Reece, who not only supported understanding and technique, they also made it tremendous fun. Fantastic experience: I recently did a 4 day DAS course with another local rider training school and had a bad experience/poor service. I decided to rebook my tests with Triumph training and the whole team were great. Thanks to their excellent training, 1 days tuition was all it took for me to pass both Mod 1 & 2 tests with ease. Very knowledgeable trainers, modern bikes, good facilities, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend more. The whole team make you feel comfortable right from booking all the way up to your test. The odd joke here and there really puts you at ease. Done most of my training with Jay who was fantastic. Also did a few hours with Wayne and Dan who were also brilliant and a good laugh. Passed mod 1 with no faults and mod 2 with 1 minor fault. I wouldn’t go anywhere else if you’re looking to do your full licence or even your cbt. Thanks again to the whole team and hopefully will see you out on the road

Fantastic experience: Although from the outside it looks like two shipping containers, don't let that fool you. The instructors are fantastic, and they're all really helpful and friendly. My instructor Rhys was patient and helpful, and you can actually have a laugh with (mostly at my expense) a real credit to the company. Instructions and training is set out so it's clear and understandable, the ride outs are undertaken under radio communication. Really good experience. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Best there is. I've done everything here over the years, getting my CBT, A2 and then my Full A license. I've had Dan for all my courses and most recently Jay as well. They're both really helpful and it has always been a pleasure learning off them. Highly recommend to anyone going for any bike licence.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT here with Stan and then Direct access with Jay, and a bit of time with Dan and Nick for Mod 1 practice. Everyone was fantastic, I'm neuro divergent so sometimes struggle to learn things the same ways or at the same pace as other people, all the instructors were brilliant at finding other ways to explain things and letting me work at my own pace. Some days we had trainee or upskilling instructors with us, which was great, extra perspectives are always welcome and it's good to see a business investing in its people. Having access to a Mod 1 practice area was great, especially so was getting access to the actual test centre for a run through, plus instructors who know the test routes inside out and will make them feel like a nice day out riding instead of intense practice. I went into my tests feeling well prepared and relaxed thanks to the attitudes and teaching styles of the instructors.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT today. Really friendly team, great atmosphere. My trainer Stan was, incredibly helpful and full of good advice. Looking forward to my DAS with them soon.

Fantastic experience: I passed my mod 2 today with Triumph training after completing the das course, I chose Triumph after trying another local school, glad I did. Everyone was great, friendly relaxed and very funny, they also taught extremely well, Dan and Jay were my instructors and were outstanding. I suffered from a lot of nerves prior to my tests and I,m.sure I wouldn't have done it without the help I received from the guys. I would thoroughly recommend Triumph training for gaining your licence or cbt. It's evident that they really know their stuff!

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend if you’re looking at doing your CBT. I had no previous experience riding a motorcycle or anything and the relaxed atmosphere and banter made you feel comfortable and at ease! I had to re arrange a few times as well when I could do my test and it was no problem at all. Great bunch of lads! Will be booking in for my full license soon.

Fantastic experience: *EDIT* After passing my cbt I went for my direct access. My instructor’s were Dan (and jay for some mod 1 training) both really knowledgeable relaxed guys who put you at ease with their great senses of humour. The whole week went smoothly and honestly have no bad points. Dan was quick to tell you the things you did well which was a good confidence booster. Anything I was struggling with he’d show me a way of doing it more easily. Would recommend this play to anyone regardless of their ability to ride. Thanks so much Dan, Jay & triumph! First time riding a bike, had Wayne as the instructor for the day. Can’t praise him enough! A very patient, relaxed, and friendly guy with a great ability to teach and understand where student’s may be struggling. I renewed my CBT for my third time here being my first time at triumph and the details and parts covered have been far more detailed and complete than other places I have been to. If your seriously training towards doing your DAS on any level I highly recommend going down to triumph I can't wait to come back to complete the journey with my DAS

Fantastic experience: Passed 1 CBT and more recently passed my A2 license here, lovely and great bunch of guys here, my instructor for the A2 was Jay and Dan on the last day, both great instructors, and good fun. Also extremely nice and have a great teaching method! Would highly recommend for any bike riding qualifications.

Negative experience: They teach you nothing in name of training for minor things they want you to book element E again so that they can get more money out of you. They want you to ride till the you make a minor mistake and they will make a big issue out of that saying that it will cause a big problem. This is a big scam to take your money. I will suggest to book some where else for you CBT They are not going to train you just there take as much money they can from you and also waste you time.

Positive experience: Good training centre, only I failed which was a shame as I was doing a refresher as my previous ran out. very embarrassed however I think they are certainly more strict. My last lesson was with Danny and he was amazing, I felt so confident.

Fantastic experience: Just finished our cbt today! Stan and Wayne were our instructors for the day and they were absolutely lovely! Funny, relaxed and reassuring everything you would want with instructors. They ensured we were safe before taking us out into traffic, made sure we were comfortable riding and answered any questions we had without any judgement! I would highly recommend going through triumph training and intend to go back for more lessons to advance in our riding!

Fantastic experience: Just past my motorcycle test with triumph training mod 1 and 2 from a pensioners perspective I was trained by 3 different instructors each added their own elements. They have a vast choice of motorcycles and you were issued the appropriate size. They have a well thought out program which complements your strengths and enhances your weaker elements. Fantastic experience: So I came to do my CBT here, I have no prior bike, bicycle or real car experience. I had shocking balance and generally struggled alot. But ive got nothing but great things to say about how patient and encouraging everyone has been at Triumph. I dealt with Wayne firstly for a good seven hours really helping me alot , then Stan on two seperate occasions to help me get my CBT finished, both a massive help, also thank you too Matilda for always getting back to me via email and helping with any payment issues. Id recommend anyone go here for anything bike training related.

Fantastic experience: I've been to Triumph Training twice in the past two years. Firstly to take my CBT and ride a scooter for the first time and then this past weekend to renew my CBT. Both times the instructors were so kind, patient and funny. I always get nervous before a test (of any kind), but Stan and my fellow learners were encouraging, supportive and informative. Stans jokes and lovely sat-nav voice made the day less anxiety inducing and I never felt stupid or told-off for messing up. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn how to ride. Fantastic experience: Hi all iv just last week passed my direct access with triumph training . The course was 4 days and I really enjoyed the whole experience All the staff are amazing. And lovely people, made me feel welcome and relaxed from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend a course with them at triumph training ❤️ so if you’re after your bike licences I highly suggest you get booked in you won’t regret it. I’m 55 this year and took the jump to do what I should have in the 1990s and thank all of the staff there amazing trainers and helped me out in bucket loads. And last Friday I passed. my Mod 1 and Mod 2 come on lady’s and gents don’t miss out book. Thanks again to all at triumph training. ❤️ loved me ride out today. take care all. Fantastic experience: Having never ridden any form of motorcycle before, I felt like I was in great hands for my CBT the whole day. Great explanations, great bikes and a really friendly, comfortable atmosphere. I never felt patronised or intimidated, and instead felt really welcomed as a woman wanting to learn in what is undoubtedly more of a male environment.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant experience - went for a 2 hour refresh after moving from a scooter back to a geared bike. Had my session with nick. Was absolutely brilliant, wasn’t made to feel stupid really encouraged me and massively boosted my confidence, focused on making sure my basic skills were solid and then once out on the road focused on the skills that I was worried about until I was happy! Just can’t ask for more than that - was really glad I did the session when I picked my new bike up!!

Fantastic experience: I’m not really one for reviewing places, but thought this place deserved it. Did my CBT with U-Pass in Newton Abbot (don’t bother) and DAS with these guys. It was easy to sign up to, competitively priced and the bikes were in good condition. I don’t know much about bikes but I do know a bit about instruction- and Chris definitely had it weighed off very well. Go pay them a visit if you’re thinking about it…

Fantastic experience: I did my DAS with Triumph Training. The instructors are all very attentive, patient and helpful. They really watch what you're doing and show you how to correct your mistakes. It's a very direct and hands on approach, which is exactly what you need. Nick and team are also masters at securing test slots. Everyone is welcome, atmosphere is relaxed, no pressure or attitude. To be fair, it's not the newest shinyest place, but who cares when you're sopping wet after a morning riding in the rain ? It's warm and welcoming.

Negative experience: Not the best experience with the CBT instructor. Quite impatient and not very structured teaching. One bad apple doesn't reflect the standard of the whole team though.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic bunch of people, I came to do my DAS, 2 days training and 1 day for both mod 1 and mod 2 shows how good they are.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! Chris was a brilliant instructor who really took the time with the 3 of us there both individually and as a group. Steve was also there with a wealth of knowledge to lend a hand. Nice setup, rental bikes are well maintained and all the gear is clearly up to scratch. Significantly increased my confidence in 1 day around the bike, and on the road, allowing me to pass my CBT. Cheers guys, I will be back in the future!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant A++++ enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. Wayne took me for the day and made me feel totally relaxed. I had no idea how to use a bike on the road( totally different from a car) but by the end of the 7 hour day I waS confident and at ease. Wayne was patient and encouraging, I only wish I had done my cbt sooner. Bikes were good, I used a automatic which was a electric scooter and found it very easy to control which meant you could concentrate purely on the rules and positioning out on the road. Thanks Wayne, triumph. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I travelled down from Bristol to do my CBT with these guys due to their availability, and what a find. Wayne was my instructor for the day - a really down to earth, friendly and exceptional teacher. Every single other person working there was incredibly polite and fun, including Chris and the office team. I’ll be going back to do my DAS, even with the added cost of accommodation for the week… that’s how good they are.

Fantastic experience: Initially, I had passed the CBT course at another training school, MTS rider training to be exact, but after trying a number of times to book my direct access course with them and getting no response at all, (an issue a number of people have mentioned to me of late), I decided to go with Triumph training instead, who for one emailed me back straight away with my options, and two, couldn't have been nicer in doing so! All the trainers and staff are great, with buckets of patience, kindness, consideration as well as professionalism, who really want you to do well and pass. No matter how inexperienced you are, there is training to suit all levels. The school itself is very relaxed and welcoming, with straight to the point, no-bull training to help you get the best out of yourself while learning. I am self employed so the intense course was spread out over my days off, allowing me to have more flexibility which helped immensely. After 6 sessions as someone who has never ridden before, I am so very glad to say, that I passed my Direct Access course. Something that the aforementioned school suggested I shouldn't do as I should get more experience on a 125cc for a year or so before committing. To me, that just goes to show that with the right mentors, patience and willingness to learn, that anything is possible. I can not recommend Triumph enough and I am pleased to say that I already have people I know booking in with them to complete their direct access. If you want relaxed, competent and knowledgable teachers that incorporate fun into riding, then Triumph is the one. Thank you all that guided me through to a pass. You rock! Safe riding!

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say , Chris and the other instructor , who's name I forget, drew to my stroke , apologized. they both taught me how to remember how to ride again, they both had fantastic patience, and support and understanding of my situation , They both went the extra mile to meet my needs , I Trusted them 100%. Fantastic experience: I completed the 6 day Direct Access course with Triumph Training and passed first time. I have been riding on my 125 for only 6 months so to pass my full test first time was a great outcome. The instructors were very good at helping to weed out bad habits and ensure safer riding. All were very friendly and thorough. Overall great service and would recommend if you are looking to do your test or cbt.

Fantastic experience: Went for some refresher training to see if I had picked up any bad habits and to see if there were a few skills that I could work on. The guys were really friendly and the instructor very professional: clear instructions, good feedback and a good balance between being informative and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT here last week, definitely recommend - Free parking, newish (2018) bikes, good sized offroad training area before heading out on to the roads and knowledgable and friendly instructor.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT with another training company and thought it was very good. I found they didn't do the Direct Access course so went with Triumph Training after recommendation from a friend. Within a day of being on the course I realized exactly how poor my CBT training had been. These guys are properly excellent. I mean REALLY REALLY good. The day before my test(s) they gave me an instructor for one to one training for a whole afternoon! That CAN'T have been profitable for them. I passed my Direct Access course 1st time, that says it all really.

Negative experience: please people don"t go there ! if you going through direct access make sure that they give you 600cc on the first day of the training. whats happened whit my is they put me on 125cc first day 2nd and 3rd day then try to put me on A1 licence and im over 30yo , ITS MONEY SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have done my CBT course 2 years ago and went back to this school to do my DAS Course. It was an amazing time. The instructors are incredible,their knowledge is amazing and their teaching technique is what get you through the test. Thanks to the whole team which allowed me to pass my Mod1 and Mod2 first time. With 0 faults on the Mod1 and 2 Minor on the Mod2 which were not to lack of training but my own doing. Thanks again to the amazing team.
