Fantastic experience: Jim was a game changer for my driving journey, he was methodical and patient yet keeping a good pace of learning.He is also quite knowledgeable so will be able to answer almost any question.

Fantastic experience: Jim was absolutely fantastic and made all the difference when learning to drive. I always felt comfortable in the car and, even when making mistakes, Jim was always incredible calm and in control of the situation. I passed first time with one minor which was entirely down to his teaching. I couldn’t recommend highly enough to use his services, this is the man you want for a driving instructor in Exeter!

Negative experience: Hevitree Road about 11.50am this morning, slow moving traffic and the instructor (no passenger) was backing off and speeding up to press on the brakes hard. Kept doing this all the way down the road u til approaching a set of lights to turn right and then tailgate literally a few inches behind my bumper, disgusting driving...no wonder there's so many bad drivers around when learning from someone like that

Fantastic experience: Just passed first time and I can only thank Jim for that. He is a phenomenal instructor; patient, calm and can also have a laugh. He doesn't mess you around and will tell you when you are ready! I found his process ideal for me. We went through a lot of the theory at the start and made sure I had a good understanding of what is required to pass, but more importantly how to be a safe on the road. He knows Exeter and the test routes very well and will make sure you have seen and dealt with the potential problem areas around Exeter until you are confident. In fact, my test route was the route he had taken me on multiple times over the last month. I could not have asked for a better instructor, absolutely thrilled to have my licence!
