Aintree Motorcycle Training

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend these people at aintree motorcycle training more highly. I completed my CBT back in September, the instructor on that day was Dave, he was very patient, he explained everything about the bike & I learnt a lot from him. I then started my DAS training with Nev & Alan, couldn’t ask for better than these 2, I sat down with Nev & he went through the full process & dates that would conclude with passing my MOD2 yesterday, I had no confidence of that playing out the way he said it as other than a few hours on a little 125cc bike on my CBT I hadn’t been on a bike before, I have had 7 lessons & MOD1 & MOD2 tests, passed both first time so Nev was right. Both Alan & Nev had full confidence in me & I obviously learnt so much from them both, Nev is a great fella that you feel like you’ve known all your life, he has no problem telling me what I’d done wrong but then goes through techniques to correct your mistakes, Thank you Nev! I spent more time with Alan when I was out on lessons, Alan is an amazing instructor, I really enjoyed being out with Al, He explained things clearly & gave me great feedback on what I was doing right & equally what I’d done not so well, If he can get me through my MOD1 & 2 then he can help anyone. Huge thanks Alan! Couldn’t recommend this company any higher!

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn, thoroughly enjoyable, staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble for them , Dave my cbt instructor was great , passing on all of his knowledge and skills about safety riding and handling motorcycles, fantastic. If you're considering learning definitely recommend AMT.

Positive experience: I had a pre CBT class here yesterday and the facilities and equipment are good. Unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for the instructor, who throughout the class decided to preach to the students about his personal views on religion, ‘the younger generation’ and the LGBT community. Not only while representing a business but also the wider biker community, who for the most part do not share these ill informed and bigoted opinions. At one point he advised me that he talks a lot to make the students comfortable, which would make sense, if the chosen topics didn’t alienate large groups of their customer base with large sweeping statements. I won’t be coming back for further training or recommending them to anyone I know.

Fantastic experience: The first time I progressed on the CBT course, I really enjoyed it but I didn’t feel confident enough in myself to complete the second part, going out on the road. The team at Aintree Motorcycle Training were so understanding, they didn’t push me to do something I wasn’t happy with and after a private and supportive chat with the trainer I made my decision to complete the second on another day. The second time around was one to one. After a recap on the first part I felt ready to complete the CBT! It was amazing! I don’t know what I was worried about! Cath was amazing and again very supportive. I would recommend the team at Aintree! They are understanding, supportive and encouraging! Thank you for everything! I am now on my 125 loving life!! ️❤️

Fantastic experience: I enquired online, via the Aintree Motorcycle Training website about taking the CBT course. Within 10 days or so I’d signed up, paid the money and passed the course. Everyone there was truly helpful Nev, Kathy and Dave, the latter who took me through the various stages in a friendly and professional manner. The weather was great as well. Look forward to going back to complete my DAS.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant instructors. Second time I've done my cbt with aintree motorcycle training each time was a delightful experience instructors are friendly and great with advice. I had no motorbike clothes and they hooked me up with brand new gear and helped me choose the correct fit which Im extremely happy with 10/10 will be back for my renewal or bigger licence deffo recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to do there bike training aintrees the gaff . Staff are brilliant was on the road with Dave he made the experience great and made you feel comfortable doing your training thank you!

Fantastic experience: I renewed my CBT here and enjoyed the experience much better than that of other CBT training centres I’ve been to in the past (in liverpool). Kath was my instructor for the day and made the whole day a pleasant one while delivering all the necessary training. It was my first experience on a geared bike as in the past I’ve always been on a twist and go, and she was able to teach me in just a couple of hours how to handle the manual way of riding. Thanks, I’ll definitely be back for my next CBT, if not for my license!!

Fantastic experience: I took my CBT with this company @ 52 years old with no experience of ever riding a bike, on the hottest day ever on record, but had to stop for safety reasons (I near fainted in the heat) but I completed the road part of it last week, with special thanks to Kathy the instructor! She taught me a lot in a short space of time and i would recommend her to anyone, she was amazing. So I'm now riding my YBR 125, feeling really proud of myself and will definitely be stepping up to the big bikes

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience doing my CBT with Cath and Stu, they are a good laugh but also very professional and experienced instructors, if you are not doing so well, they are not shy in letting you know, which is a good thing because safety is paramount when it comes to riding motorcycles, I think they were seriously considering not taking me out on the road, so I had to really focus.

Fantastic experience: It's hard to find a good motorcycle driving school in and around Liverpool. If you are undecided, I recommend to do what I have done; stop by and have a casual chat. You will immediately spot the difference -- the friendly and pleasant atmosphere; people take time to talk you and make you feel welcome. Done my CBT and full licence. Every instructor I had was not only highly competent and kind, but also gave me necessary confidence I needed at every stage. I am writing this review to thank Nev and his team and particularly Kev. Fantastic experience: All the instructors were friendly, informative and excellent teachers. Relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere felt more a day out with like minded motorcycle enthusiastic people. A bit out the way if your stuck with public transport but other than that we'll worth the time and effort to get there.

Positive experience: Completed my CBT test. It was both a fun and educational day for me. The facilties are clean, the equipment is maintained very well and the staff where bubbly and friendly... if not providing a little too much personal information at times haha. Dave was supportive, professional (mostly haha) and a joy to learn from and ride with. I felt very welcome, safe and well taken care of at all times and I can recommend this training facility for riders of all levels. Well done everyone and thank you. See you all soon.

Fantastic experience: CBT training, after not having ridden a bike for 30 years was a somewhat daunting prospect, but I needn't have worried. The instructor, Dave, was endlessly patient and supportive. The first step on my road to a biking future couldn't have been with a better team!

Negative experience: Too many good reviews for such a bad training centre. If you are a beginner is better to avoid them as they don't really have patience to teach you to ride. I know that because I paid 120 pounds to find out how rude they can be with new riders.

Fantastic experience: Cath was really good and patient with me as a new rider she settled the nerves and made getting on the bike feel more comfortable. At first i struggled with the manouvers and she remained patient and got me through it to eventually go onto passing my CBT. I had a really good time and learned alot i would reccomend Cath and Aintree Motorcycle Training to any of my friends without a doubt

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic for my cbt training you learn a lot and enjoy yourself doing it. my cbt teacher (can't remember what his name was, I think it was dave) he was amazing and gave clear and calm instructions. He noticed all of my weaknesses and I felt right at ease being taught by him (they adapt to your own learning skills too to make it as easy as possible for you) It's entirely covid safe and they adhere to social distancing which is a huge plus giving the pandemic situation. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Better yet, you will have an absolute blast here. I certainty did. If Google had a 6 star review... I'd use it.

Fantastic experience: Nev is an amazing instructor - knows the mod 2 courses inside out, along with all the 'local knowledge' and tips to avoid slipping up on yoir test. On top of that, he's a great bloke and clearly loves what he does. I travelled a long way to train with Aintree based upon a personal recommendation and I'm so glad I did. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My Brodie completed her CBT today. She was a nervous 16yr old when I dropped her off. When I picked her up she was a confident happy 16 Yr old. She was supported, encouraged and praised. I cannot thank you enough, not just for helping her with a CBT but because you have shown her that anything is achievable. Roll on Feb, she will be back for her step up.

Fantastic experience: I've just done my CBT. I have to say that the instructors that I dealt with Dave, Kath and Kev were superb. Great tuition. I took a lot out of it. I would def recommend AMT to anyone.
