Fantastic experience: Just wanted to Thank John for the Amazing job he did with my Son Jamie. John went above and beyond and really cares about what he does. He made Jamie feel at ease and made the lessons an enjoyable experience. Jamie is away working most of the time , John always kept in touch with me and let me know what was going on. John was always on time and is genuinely dedicated to what he does. If anyone is thinking of Driving Lessons for their teenage sons/daughters, rest assured they will be in good hands. Thanks John

Fantastic experience: John my instructor from pathway driving school was an amassing instructor who I would greatly recommend. He has very reasonable pricing and is always very flexible with giving time slots and different lengths of lessons to suite your schedule. John is a very friendly instructor who is very good at spotting mistakes and quick to politely correct my form and kindly talk to me about the theory behind the corrections. When I was struggling with a skill John would politely explain the topic throughly and even if then I was still unsure John was not hesitant to further explain the topic in a way that I would fully understand whether that be through pictures, videos, text book reading or other ways etc, to ensure I was fully confident with this before carrying on with the lesson. John supports every type of learning style and is very respectful of each and every one of his learners. I have had a great time with John throughout my learning journey and I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly polite driving instructor who pushed me to be my very best and my confidence as brown loads since starting with him, he has helped me so much and I couldn’t thank him more enough for that. It has been a pleasure to learn from you John and Thankyou so much for helping guide me towards a pass on my second attempt of a test in Norris green. Again I would highly recommend choosing this driving school to learn.

I can honestly say, John is the friendliest, most patient and informative and helpful instructor you could choose. Lessons are well structured and person centred/led. Great and easy to remember techniques practiced to carry out manoeuvres all to a high standard. Consistently carrying out all aspects of the lesson to test standard. Lessons progress well and cover all potential outcomes and test routes. I belive without John's support and guidance I wouldn't have been able to pass as swiftly and owe him all credit to passing and being taught so effectively. Fantastic experience: I picked up driving with John six years after failing three driving tests. The test itself had completely changed and as an anxious person, I really had to push myself to go back to driving again. But I'm so glad I did, because John was incredibly supportive and believed in my abilities even when I didn't myself. His patience when I was struggling was fantastic and really put me at my ease for the test. I was delighted to pass my test for the second attempt with John as my instructor. Would recommend to anyone, especially nervous would be drivers!

Fantastic experience: Where do I start?! John is honestly the best instructor I’ve had the pleasure to learn from. I had a bad experience with my previous instructor when I was around 18 which really knocked my confidence and I didn’t have the courage to have any more lessons for a further 12 more years! I finally plucked up the courage to start again and chose John at Pathway Driving based on the good online reviews. This was the best decision I’ve ever made! Not only does John have the patience of a saint, he makes sure that he adapts his teaching style to how you learn. He explains things really well and I’m never too scared to ask him to repeat what he means if I’m unsure. He gives you really handy hints and tips in areas you’re really struggling with and suddenly those areas become really easy! I went from a reallly really anxious driver initially to a confident one that also passed FIRST TIME. If someone said to me a year ago that I’d pass on my first attempt, I’d have never believed them. I always thought it was out of the question and that I was bound to fail a few times. I literally cannot believe I’ve passed my driving test after years of anxiety about being on the road! I now can’t wait to purchase my first car and drive around on my own - the thought of this would have previously made me feel incredibly anxious - but John has equipped me well to drive on the road! He’s also really flexible and understanding with your working hours which was a massive help to me as I worked quite far away so could only get home later in the evening. You can tell he really cares about you becoming a confident and safe driver and he is really rooting for you! He was buzzing when I passed - as was I! If you want to have a really good, patient and experienced driving instructor - John is the guy you need to go to. You will honestly not regret it. I am so proud I’ve passed and so thankful for all of John’s help. I will miss our lessons now that it’s all over!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend John highly enough. I had four failed tests before I came to Pathway and as a late learner was apprehensive about whether I would pass. However right from the first lesson John’s skill as an instructor and his patience and encouragement really helped me to progress. When it came my test I felt thoroughly prepared but mentally I was doubting myself a bit but John encouraged me and made me believe in myself and I passed!! I have had other teachers in the past but John was the most professional and positive instructor, and I think that his teaching is absolutely first class. He is patient and friendly as a person and I would say as an instructor he would give you your best chance of passing your test. Thanks John!

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say John is a brilliant instructor.. patient, calm, totally professional keeps you calm and his instructions are clear and and the confidence he gives you is second to none.. I was more nervous than ive ever been in my life but the minute you get in his car he puts you at ease.. it was like learning to drive with a friend rather than a instructor.. hes totally understandable with you regarding work hours and shifts.. if anyone is thinking of learning to drive i would 1000% recommend John at pathway driving.

Fantastic experience: I have had two instructors and shouldve went with John from pathway the first time round! He was amazing, patient, and did not try and rip you off. When I had the first instructor, it really felt like he was just trying to pocket my money and lagged the whole experience and I wasn't learning much, plus he was late 95% of the time. John from pathway got straight to the point , passionate to teach, and was giving me sooooo much driving tips!! I am so thankful for John as he helped me PASS my exam right away after his lesson!!! I HIGHLY recommend John for his professionalism, enthusiam, and most importantly not just pass the exam but be a SAFE driver from here on end!!!! LOOK NO FURTHER FOR ANY OTHER INSTRUCTORS!! Fantastic experience: I'm not someone who learns new things or adapts quickly or easily, yet never was I rushed, only ever encouraged, inspite of my strong phobia of tests and failed attempts at the practical, I never felt I was going to get dropped as a student to avoid spoiling the pass rate. Today I officially passed, I couldn't have done it without my instructor, who I would also brand the best teacher I ever had. John is a friendly, helpful and patient person who I have recommended plenty and directed others to in the past and I will continue to do so. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to John through a work friend who was taking lessons at the time. I had always wanted to learn to drive but could never go through with it. I have a few problems with Social Anxiety. My wife phoned and booked a taster lesson as a surprise for Valentines day! Despite being terrified and anxious at the mere thought of stepping into a car with a brand new person, I did it and I'm glad I did! John was absolutely fantastic in every way, I can't fault him at all. Bearing in mind that I was at the peak of my illness, still getting settled on new meds etc. John couldn't do enough for me. Lessons were carefully planned and instructions were clear and to the point. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend John to anyone. Fantastic experience: John at Pathway Driving was my second driving instructor after a 2 year gap from a poor experience with my first instructor - and wow, what a difference! John is cheerful and friendly and immediately puts you at ease, which is what you need when driving relies so heavily on confidence! I was given a progress card and access to handouts on the website to be able to read up on different manouveres and skills in between lessons too. John is really helpful, teaching tips, tricks and guides to be able to easily remember different skills and manouveres. And it clearly worked - I passed my practical test first time! Thanks John!

Fantastic experience: John was very friendly with my daughter when she was on her lessons, Ellie came home happy with her progress from every lesson, John reassured my daughter Ellie was making progress by saying “you’ve done well today mate” which I heard him say at the end of every lesson to my daughter! Ellie passed with very few minors and a lovely comment off the examiner. Well reccommended, Ellie was constantly learning from her little errors whilst on her lesson! Watching my daughter drive with over having 6 months worth of lessons make my heart burst with pride and I can only thank John for this!

Fantastic experience: John is a lovely instructor, he made me comfortable and enabled me to gain confidence whilst driving, I have recommend John to several of my friends also, as my honest opinion is that he try’s his best to get the best out of each pupil on his lessons!! I passed with John with only 5 minors, which I genuinely just believe was my nerves! Since I passed at the beginning on December I have confidently been able to follow a sat nav and drive on long drives on the motorway the longest being 4 hours 30 minutes. Now if that doesn’t show how much of a genuine person John is I don’t know what will because my confidence came on so much, he would correct me when I was wrong allowing me to learn from my mistakes. John never cancelled on me and was always on time, unless I was notified that he was going to be late ! Thankyou John. Also the examiners words after I passed my test was “it was a lovely drive”.

Fantastic experience: When I first started driving I was a nervous wreck, but John made me feel relaxed and was always able to calm me down by giving me direct instructions. This helped me to learn quicker and enabled me to pass first go. He was firm, friendly and very understanding as he always understood that I was anxious. I would 100% recommend!!!

Negative experience: My daughter had the worst experience ever and this has put her off learning to drive He cancelled lesson 10 mins before time and never got out of 2nd gear in 10 lessons No patients and shouting at his pupil and making them cry when making mistakes Would not recommend on this experience and what a total waste of money Use someone else

If you make a mistake he stays calm and just talks you through the problem and helps you fix it. His explanations of how to do each maneuver was concise and clear. Fantastic experience: Hi All, I passed practical driving test with 1st attempt and with 4 minor only mistakes recently with John's simple techniques and clear instructions, actually had one instructor earlier and he took lot of time and money with lot of hours and but I didn't learned nothing from him, i decided to go some other instructor and i saw John's Reviews in Google and i decided to call him, my decision absolutely right and he took very few classes and now am a UK driving license holder :) and about John, he is best of best professional instructors, time punctual, good attitude etc in Liverpool and he got lot of manual's(junction maps & toy cars etc ) stuff to show instantly in simple way when we do any mistakes, I learned a lot from John and I don't think he wasted even 1 min of time, Thanks a lot John(Pathway Driving), you are a good human and best of best, i can give him a 10 Star********** Rating, I would recommend 1000% to any new guys who is looking to get UK driving license. Fantastic experience: Recommended to me by work colleague, after being let down by my previous instructor found John's attitude and teaching approach really simple to follow, put me at ease very quickly. Made rapid progress in self confidence which John commented was probably the biggest cause of my delay in being test ready. As I had the necessary skills and ability but didn't believe in myself. John by comparison found a way to bring that self confidence forward therefore perfecting my skills and techniques resulting in a pass with only 3 minors today. I was so unconfident and nervous when I first started out, but John lets you learn at your own pace and makes sure you're learning everything you need to know at the same time. With Pathway, There's great access to online information sheets which allows practice outside of lessons, as well as online help with your theory too.
