Fantastic experience: Big thanks to the instructors as today I got my Class A licence ! Over roughly 10 weeks, I’ve gone through CBT, Theory, MOD1 and today passed my MOD2 first time round  Russ sorts out everything test wise which is a big help. Simon and Ben are great and I’ve got to give a special thanks to Ginge (Collin) who kept me calm and relaxed. If you want to get your class A, just go with these guys, I really can’t fault them.

Negative experience: Bicycle inner tubes cost 2-3 pounds and in this store they cost twice as much!!! This is a joke! The people who work there are not very helpful and they expect high salaries for any minimal help. I do not recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT today and can't thank the instructor 'ginge' enough. I was very nervous when I arrived and after speaking to him for 5 min I started to feel much better, he took the time to explain and demonstrate everything and ensure everyone was happy before moving on to the next step. His good humour and teaching style puts you at ease and makes the day enjoyable. Thank you again ginge, will see you again when I get the geared bike.

I had the most reassuring and funny instructor called GINGE.. as a lady of 45 taking on a new challenge Ginge was reassuring and made me feel safe. he instructed very clearly. and he made the whole day course informative and fun and the day flew by. Fantastic experience: Went through full motorcycle license with then. Cbt Theory Mod 1, 1 minor Mod 2, 2 minors Took 10 weeks start to finish, fantastic training as had used other local rider training centres and managed to fail three times. Thanks chaps highly recommend. Will no doubt be using them for motorcycle services in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have just been on the CBT with Sam Taylor, had a really good instructor Ginge, also had his Dad working along side him very interesting couple lol… Had a really good time, explained everything needed to now and very patient, made you feel right at home on the bike… thank a lot, on to the next step now……

Negative experience: Fixed my headlight, was fine riding to work straight after, 11 hours later I was riding it home, the bike started vigorously shaking, the throttle was sticking and the bike won’t move forward, back wheels spins over and over without even revving it. Coincidence

Fantastic experience: Today (17/07/24) I took my CBT with Colin, AKA ginge, he was supper friendly and I did a privet lesson with him, at first I was a bit worried about going into the road but I felt confident as it went on, I do ride my electric bike on the road when I go places but this was being on the road at all times and following the traffic, I kept thinking I was going to fail but I kept calm and I took it easy, I had a few things I kept messing up but I then got the hang off it. I don’t know if it was just me or the indicators was sticking. Colin had to keep reminding me to turn it off. But I always made sure it was off, sometimes I’d press it more then a few times, but I think I might had not been pressing it hard enough. It was a nice sunny day and I’m so glad it was, it made my day and I enjoyed it a lot. I’m going to get a 125 gromm or a 125 duke, or I might buy an electric road legal bike, but I have to see, I’m not ready to make my mind up just yet. But I really enjoyed it and I honestly 100% recommend going for your CBT with Colin, he is a very nice man and will try and make your experience ridding much easier. I think if I was to try geared bikes I will definitely try and book it in with him, might take me a bit of more time then a throttle but I think I’d be able to do it, I have to see where time goes….. I know he helped me out a lot and got my nerves a bit down so I’m glad I did my CBT and I’m able to ride on the road. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT there last year and just completed mod1 this week on both occasions the instructors called Ginge and Ben were very helpful and put you at ease and professional in what they taught you moving on I did mod2 training with Simon and his training set me up for test again very professional I now have a full licence Russ in the shop very helpful thank you to all of you highly recommend to anyone wanting CBT up-to a full license

Positive experience: Did a refresher CBT, after a couple of years of not riding. My instructor, Ginge, had the patience of a saint and did a cracking job of rebuilding my confidence, despite the fact I kept stalling (im blaming the bike which was well used and in need of some tlc and wouldnt go into neutral). Looking forward to doing my MOD 1 & 2. Only reason this is a 4 star review is due to the bike and not the instructor.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Ginge for the CBT I was reserved most of the training but he made it easy to understand each segment and didn't make it feel like it was information being crammed for no reason.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently going from A2 to A licence and did my Mod 1 with Sam Taylor, my instructor was ginger and really helped improve my mod 1 maneuvers massively within about half an hour. Really pleased with the results and helped my pass mod 1.

Also did my CBT here with Ben and Simon, they are all genuinely lovely blokes. Had to rearrange lessons a few times too and Russ was so helpful. Really looking forward to starting my Mod 2 lessons next week!

Fantastic experience: Done my cbt at sam Taylors with Colin the whole day was fantastic they went through everything what the day was going to intail and made us feel at ease as was a little nervous at first we went through safety equipment th and basic maintenance then we was on the bike getting used to the feel in the carpark after learning the basics it was time for more technical managers once this was complete we stopped for a cuppa and a briefing on what we had learned at the next step was to have Bluetooth headsets and it was time for us to hit the road we was given instructions from the instructor who was following which made us feel safe the instructions were clear and we had a great ride we then finished at sam taylors shop where we were given our cbt pass certificate which was a great feeling hesitant and nervous they will make you feel comfortable with the bike before going on the road I would % recommend sam taylors if you are thinking about getting your cbt Once again thankyou Colin and the other one which name escapes me big BMW BIKE 10/10

Fantastic experience: Just finished my training with the team at Sam Taylors, passing my Mod 1 & justing bagging my Mod 2 today. Ginge got me through my CBT & Mod 1 and took me from novice to ready to step up to Mod 2 Ben took over from there and with a couple of rides with Simon also was ready for Mod 2. Unfortunately for me the 20mph zones caught me out so a second attempt was needed. Ginge took me down for that today so was great to see him again and his words did the trick as a 'pass' on a pretty rotten day was a lovely pre Christmas treat. Great experience throughout, and the 3 instructors were fantastic. Spotting everything I was doing wrong, patiently and comically at times setting me straight. Really appreciated there friendly and laid-back approach to what was, at times... a 'mind bomb' of an experience. Great bikes to learn on and effecient service from Russ back at base. Massive thanks to you all and wil definitely be calling on you again for help and advice. Be safe and Merry Christmas

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 with these guys. Absolutely first class experience. Simon took me for my first lesson with Col taking me for my next 2 before my Mod 1. Both know their stuff and taught me little techniques to make it easy. Col cut my last lesson short to save it for my Mod 2 as he thought I was ready which shows his honesty. I then had a few lessons with Ben before passing my Mod 2. Ben is outstanding, top bloke and a really good instructor. Spots any flaws in your riding and puts you right without making you feel like a moron. As a result I flew through my Mod 2. Highly recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience: Did my cbt, mod one and mod 2 all with Sam Taylor’s in the last 2 months, cbt with ginge and Ben, awesome instructors and make sure your confident and safe on the road. Did my mod 1 and 2 with Ben and Simon and passed both first time, couldn’t recommend this place enough, they clearly explain what is expected of you and pass on there knowledge in a way that’s easy to understand, all whilst making safety the number 1 priority. Definitely book in with these guys to get your bike license!

After the test which she passed she had a 2 hour geared bike lesson with the amazing Simon who went above and beyond by taking her to pick her new bike up from Honda and escorting her . Fantastic experience: In the last 12 months I have completed my CBT, Mod 1 and 2 at Sam Taylor's and it has been such a pleasure. Simon is a great instructor who is firm but fair with feedback and builds your confidence whilst also making it fun! I was able to pass all three tests first time. Both Russ and Simon were flexible to help book lessons round my awkward schedule. They have also assisted me looking for appropriate bike wear. 5* experience, I would highly recommend to anyone considering getting their bike licence. Thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: Just this morning passed my Mod 1 test with Ginge at Sam Taylors. I went into Mod 1 training overly confident, with bad practice. Ginge took his time and over a few lessons managed to turn a very poor slow speed rider into one who passed with flying colours this morning. From start to end you feel like you're having a fun day out, not in any way did I feel any pressure or like I had a drill instructor with me, with Ginge, it feel like someone you've known your whole life is teaching you, really welcoming, respectful, funny, and most of all talented. Ginge you're a great teacher and I can't thank you enough. To anyone reading this who is umming and arring whether to do your Mod 1, get booked in with Ginge

Fantastic experience: We did redid our CBTs this week and it was a helpful, informative and enjoyable experience. There were 4 in the group all redoing their CBTs with different experience, which they catered for. Personally, my 4th time and 3rd different location. This was the best and we will return and recommend. Only ride 125 scooters as a Ho by so currently don’t have plans for the further tests, but their prices are very fair. Thanks guys :)

Fantastic experience: I attended a CBT training day last week. The trainer was a guy who introduced himself as 'Ginge'. He's ex-forces, that's clear from the outset. From his bearing, his delivery, his discipline. He's also, as he told us, non-PC, and he likes to swear - if that is a problem, it is ours, not his. It wasn't a problem, as he was also hilarious. Ginge worked with 4 people that day, and tailored his delivery to each of us (and I am Autustic, and so require specific instructions, delivered in a way that is suitable to me) to meet each person's needs. I have trained people for 25 years, and consider myself to be very good at my job. Ginge is a far, far better training instructor than I. I didn't complete the CBT training, it wasn't the right time for me. I took the call on that, although I knew he wouldn't have let me out on the road. But I will go back - I spoke to Ginge and SImon (who runs the school), and they had already decided on a personal, tailored approach for me, and this was within 2 hours of meeting me. Ginge will be my trainer, my guide, on the path to riding the bike I bought yesterday, confident that he will get me through. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I went against my mates word about this shop and gave it a try i wish i didnt am absolutely gutted he wasted week of My time my bike is in alot worse condition than I gave it him in his attitude was disgusting and lack of communication disappointed with this place wouldn't recommend this place
