Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of going with Dan Jenkins for my lessons. Honestly I believe Dan is one of the best instructors to go with if you are looking to learn how to drive manual. He really took his time and went through everything in detail with me and helped me get over my nerves. Thanks to him I was able to pass my driving test first try!! Fantastic experience: I pass my frist time with Shane McKenna and BDS driving school! I use to be very scare of the road, and thanks to the way they teach me now i am super confident and I learn how to drive perfectly. They use new techniques and a app that is very usefull aswell, you can see all your process in the app and also check what you up in your next lesson. I recommend 100% bds school! And my super instructor Shane McKenna aswell!

Fantastic experience: I did a 25 hour intensive driving course through BDS, over 5 days and just passed my driving test! My instructor, Dan, was great. He was really encouraging and helped me identify and work on all the areas where I lacked confidence and needed to improve before my test. The layout of the week was also perfect, it gave us enough time to work on everything but didn’t feel overly intense and tiring, with a shorter day planned in the middle of the week. Overall, I would really recommend BDS and Dan. Great school with great instructors and I’m thrilled to have passed my test with them.

Fantastic experience: I passed today after completing the 25 hour fast pass driving course with Liz my instructor. It was my 3rd test, after a year of driving lessons with a different driving school and a years break. I started out with little confidence but Liz believed in me from the start. I felt instantly at ease with Liz and had learnt so much within even the first hour, thanks to her wealth of knowledge and experience. She taught and communicated to me in a way that helped me remember the things I needed to improve on, which I really valued. My confidence quickly grew and I felt prepared for my test. I still had test day nerves but Liz calmed me down and reassured me every step of the way. I can’t thank Liz and BDS enough. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: BDS were great for fitting me in with last minute courses and tests. Very efficient and helpful the whole way along and quick to respond to any messages. I was lucky to get a cancellation for an intensive course and a test date booked in a week before, which was amazing! I took lessons with Liz, who created a calm and relaxed space and taught me how to drive properly, not just how to pass the test. She is honest and friendly and I am very grateful for her patience with me, especially at the beginning as it took me some time to get the hang of it of the basics. Highly recommended and couldn't thank her and Donna at BDS for helping me achieve the freedom that driving brings.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing driving school treated like a friend not a learner loved each lesson with Shane McKenna taught me how to drive safely and responsibly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor , passed second time due to a tiny error the first time which was very silly but passed second time with 4 minors , loved having the car conversations and chat while learning to drive would recommend to anyone needing an instructor or wanting to learn how to drive, top guy will miss it.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test on my first attempt, thanks to the amazing assistance of BDS and especially Shane. He was very flexible with me, even taking up his personal time to do my driving lessons because I couldn't get time off work for weekday lessons (Thank you Shane). Donna was on the ball 24/7; she even managed to schedule a test for me 3 days after my initial one got rescheduled due to the weather. Fantastic experience: Dan jenkins is the best driving instructor I could ask for, he’s calm, funny, gives me the best and easiest advice and gave me so many tips and tricks to ensure that I pass my test which I did thanks to him, he made driving easier by using different techniques, he boosted my confidence so much when I first started learning as he didn’t rush me to learn he took his time with me and let me learn in my own time, we had some of the best and funniest conversations on our lesson which is why we got along so well which also meant I wanted to try extra hard to show him my thank you for his hard work he’s done. Fantastic experience: My son passed first time with BDS. 20 hour intensive course over a week preceded by some home instruction had him driving within 90 days of his 17th birthday. Donna was a whizz at all of the bookings and administration whilst Simon was highly professional with a brand new car and turned up to each and every appointment bang on time. I can highly recommend BDS on this basis.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test yesterday morning 21st oct 23 My driving instructor was Mandy Kerr Being 61 yes old I won't say I found it easy as I didn't Mandy has the patients of a saint at times I lacked confidence and did not believe in my self but Mandy was always positive Mandy helped me to belive in my self and helped me to gain confidence she never gave up once she kept telling me you can do this Mandy is very friendly as a great personality as well as being very professional and makes you feel at ease she explains things to you in a easy way I don't think I would of passed without Mandy spurring me on and telling me I can do it So a big thank you to mandy .

Fantastic experience: BDS helped me find an intensive course that suited me. They were helpful from the start and were extremely flexible with all my requests. I booked my intensive course for January and paid a deposit however my exam dates got moved and with changing circumstances I had to cancel my intensive course. All it took was a message and within a few minutes I received a message back and was offered a full refund. I have had nothing but a positive experience with BDS and would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I spent my time with BDS with an amazing instructor called Shane; He is an incredible instructor and person, we had many lovely chats unrelated to my driving but my driving always took priority in the absolute best way, he was always willing to teach in a way that suited me best and accommodated to my tight schedule with ease. I went from someone who had learnt a bit about driving but was lacking in confidence and a lot of knowledge prior to my time with him to someone who is confident in his abilities and knowledgeable about how to drive, maintain and look after my car all thanks to this man. I will be suggesting him to anyone who is ever learning to drive and Donna who managed a lot of the backend communication and admin was fast, effective and I cannot thank both of them enough for how amazing they have been to me. Also, I passed first time!

Fantastic experience: After several unsuccessful years of learning to drive and failed tests , I thought I would never learn to drive and almost gave up trying. Then I was recommended by a friend to try BDS Driving School, and it's the been the best experience. I really enjoyed ny lessons because my instructor Mandy Kerr was incredibly patient , and thoughtful with my personal learning ability, and just such a calming presence. I learnt so much from her without even realising it and it all came in so useful when I took my test and passed at the Grand age of 62. Fantastic experience: Just passed my test first time with this company! Thank you for assigning me Lorna who's knowledge & experience put me in the right direction to achieve my full driving licence. From the first driving lesson I had with Lorna she was pushing me to get out of my comfort zone & by my third ever lesson I was reaching 50mph on a dual carriageway. Had an absolute amazing time learning & Lorna even helped my girlfriend when she failed with a different driving school who then also went to pass with Lorna's guidence! Fantastic experience: I undertook a 25 hour intensive course with Simon Anson of BDS, spread over 5 consecutive days with a practical test at the end, which I passed. I had had previous driving experience many years ago. Confidence issues had stopped me from taking the test back then, but Simon got me back up to speed immediately and by the end he had developed my confidence immeasurably. Simon's teaching style of practice makes perfect, anticipating the road and hazards ahead, and staying cool when things go wrong was the supportive environment I needed to flourish at driving. By the end of the week I was so confident that driving felt like second nature. I could not recommend BDS highly enough if you are looking at an intensive course as my experience was second to none. Huge thanks to Simon, but also to Donna, who took the time to listen to my situation at first point of contact. Pass or fail, BDS will look after you.

It had been more than a few years since I’d taken lessons so I decided to book a short intensive course and BDS came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! From my initial enquiry with Donna, to be being put in touch with my instructor Mandy, the communication was great and I had all my queries answered and before I knew it I was booked on the right course for me. As an instructor Mandy was friendly and calm, and had a great way of explaining things to me when I was looking a little confused. Fantastic experience: Since the very beginning BDS have been great to work with, prompt in helping with queries and getting things arranged. I did a 30-hour intensive course with Liz and passed first time with 7 minors. While the title of the course ‘intensive’ does give away the fact it’s intense, I still underestimated how intense and tiring it would be - however, very much worth it. The progress I made just on the first day alone outweighed any of the previous experience I had through other instructors when doing weekly lessons. I think you rebound so much faster when making mistakes on this course as opposed to just doing weekly courses, and for this reason think it makes it a much more effective way to learn - given that you’re prepared for the intensity. Liz was wonderful throughout! She always arrived on time each morning and was chatty and friendly through all the sessions. I found the app she used on her iPad to explain certain roads and roundabouts helpful as I was able to visualise certain things before attempting them. I felt very comfortable with Liz and would definitely recommend her! Thanks so much to Liz & BDS!

Whenever I did not understand something he always explained things in a way, it all made sense. Fantastic experience: Dave is a brilliant driving instructor, very patient and relaxed. Lessons felt comfortable and I was able to progress at my own pace. Dave helped me to pass my test first time and has made me a really confident driver. I highly recommend this driving company

Fantastic experience: Flawless experience with Emma Bird whilst preparing for my trailer test. Emma was super accommodating with some last minute training before my test. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly is excellent at her job! She ensures at all times you are comfortable and understand the reasoning behind things. Couldn’t recommend more, if you want someone to help coach you to passing you trailer test, or normal driving test. My brother will be learning with Emma later this year. Thanks again Emma :)

Fantastic experience: Passed my Driving test today first time, Cindy was amazing from start to finish, she made me feel so comfortable, she was really nice and funny and made the hours driving in the car really pleasent. Fantastic experience: I had 3 instructors from BDS due to Covid complicating things however all 3 of them were great. They were patient, positive and cheerful and gave me good experience for my driving test. Donna at BDS was super helpful, finding and booking test dates and instructors for me when things kept getting moved around with Covid and was fast to reply to any questions I had. Thanks BDS!

Donna is really helpful and managed to book me a theory test a few months earlier than the one I had booked, then contacted me to ask if I wanted my 20 hour intensive course moved forward because there had been a cancellation. Having failed my driving test a few times in the past and having not driven for a few years, I was very anxious. However, my instructor, Cindy, was so patient and encouraging, it was more like driving around with my friend! I was a bit worried about doing an intensive course, but the time flew by and by the time my test came around, I felt confident and relaxed. Thanks BDS, would highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Emma Bird with BDS, as both a person and instructor, is patient, calm, understanding and a bloody superb teacher. I'm sure she's the only one who could of got me through my test! (and my wife last year). Absolute legend of an instructor. Can't recommend her enough. I did have lessons a few years ago with an instructor in a different area (not BDS), and the difference in how I progressed with Emma compared the other instructor is night and day. Genuinely bitter sweet to be saying thank you and good bye to her after passing today.
