Fantastic experience: Passed first time with Automatic Driving Tuition. Can't recommend Simon enough. He's extremely patient and explains everything thoroughly. Will never put you through your test if he doesn't think your ready. Mary deals with all the bookings and always tries her best to fit you in where is the most convenient. Amazing team!

Fantastic experience: I have been learning with Simon and Mary since July 2020 and it is the best decision I've ever made. Even with the pandemic and lockdowns Mary has been in constant contact, always going out of her way to help fit my lessons in and book my test. I cannot fault the service she provides in any way. She always goes above and beyond and I honestly don't think I'd have got this far without her consideration, dedication ​and hard work. Simon is a brilliant instructor, I started as a bag of nerves but his patience and attentiveness in every lesson plan and lesson has given me a great deal of confidence. I would advise anyone who is looking for an automatic instructor in the area to contact Mary and Simon - you absolutely will not be disappointed!

Negative experience: My daughter had lessons with Simon, who was very kind and patient with my daughter, we couldn't fault him. However, his wife Mary, who made the appointments for lessons, would never answer texts or calls. Mary would ask my daughter for her availability, then never get back to her. They have now moved out of our area and have just dropped my daughter like a hot potato. No explanation or apology. My daughter is now having difficulty finding an instructor that isn't booked up for several months, not to mention the money she has wasted on this business. Sorry Simon. Don't know how Mary sleeps at night.

Fantastic experience: This driving school has been absolutely brilliant. I started driving lessons with Simon in February after a disastrous attempt at manual with my old instructor. I came to the lesson feeling anxious, not enjoying my previous lessons and a lot of self doubt about whether the switch to automatic would make a difference... and What a difference it made. Simon is a kind hearted, brilliant teacher who goes above and beyond for his pupils. He never shouts, if you make a mistake he gives you constructive feedback and makes you redo it again correctly. He always praises throughout the lesson even if it was a right turn or a slowing down for a hazard etc. Simon has years of experience and it shows. Under Simon I became more confident and started to enjoy driving. I even began to believe in myself that I can do it. Which as of 16th December 2020 I did. I passed my driving test! I honestly think if it wasn’t for Simon I would have given up with driving a long time ago. With this school you have Simon the instructor and his partner Mary. They both could not have done enough for me. They went well above an beyond providing advice, support and guidance throughout my time and journey learning to drive. In particular I would like to acknowledge Mary, who books in the driving lessons and never lets you down. Mary has booked my test for me, given support and advice above and beyond. When I’ve needed lessons they’ve always gone out of the way to give them even if it means they don’t get much of a break to make sure I am test ready. Mary is absolutely lovely and is a perfect pairing with Simon as an instructor. You can tell Botha moon and Mary truly cares and love what they do. So if you are sat here reading this, in the position I was a few months ago where you are unsure whether to swap to manual, maybe feeling anxious about driving or never driven before... then I would say do it. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it. I certainly haven’t and now I’m doing some car shopping before Christmas .

Fantastic experience: After struggling for so long with manual, I decided to switch to automatic lessons, and Simon couldn't have helped more with the transition! He was encouraging, kind, and patient, and the lessons have been an absolute pleasure. He is an instructor who clearly cares about his student's progress and has their best interests at heart. His wife, Mary, was also extremely helpful when organising the lessons to fit my availability. Happy to say I passed my test first time thanks to them :)
