Fantastic experience: Jack is absolutely the best driving instructor around; I can’t convey enough how friendly, calm and kind he is when teaching. I’m a nervous person and initially worried that I’d never be able to drive. Not only did Jack teach me how to drive so comfortably and confidently, he managed to get rid of my anxiousness whilst I was driving by teaching me how to be calm and approach everything without rushing and panicking, which was just as crucial for me as driving technique. Driving lessons with Jack were the highlight of my day, I genuinely loved every second of it. Gav then got me test-ready once Jack went back to uni and, whilst being direct and strict, made sure that every detail of my drive was as smooth as it could be. The day before my test, I had an hour with James and again, couldn’t thank him enough. He was friendly and encouraging, making me feel very ready for the next day. I highly recommend this driving school for anyone who’s looking!

If you’re stuck or puzzled they will spend the time to help you understand. easy to book test as they can do it for you then you don’t have to wait ages for a cancellation. Recommend for any new or experienced learners.

He was very friendly and relaxed and made my son feel at ease whilst being extremely precise and detailed in his guidance. He was very flexible with timings for extra lessons prior to the test and really went above and beyond to help. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for driving tuition.

Fantastic experience: james was my instructor and without him i don’t think i would’ve ever passed my driving test. lessons had a lay back feel whilst also being informative and learning to master what and what not to do on a driving test. i felt immediate improvement in my driving skills after just 1 or 2 lessons with james and believe i was test ready after just a few months of 1 lesson a week. highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Each hour with Gavin is worth at least 2 with anyone else - he did what 2 previous instructors couldn't do and got me through a test when I had a pretty bad fear of roads and driving. Not to mention Helen's expertise getting me in for a test a whole 4 months earlier than the one I had booked (something I never would have thought I could be ready for, but Gavin got me there). Excellent driving school, accomodating all types of learners and making driving not only possible for me, but enjoyable. Thank you so much!

Gav encourages parents to sit in on the first few lessons which paid dividends for us as we could then help them practice...correctly. My youngest just passed with only 9 lessons! Fantastic experience: A straight forward honest instructor. No stringing out on the number of lessons. I only had six lessons with Gavin before my exam and passed first time. We set a goal of passing as fast as possible (1 month) and he not only achieved this goal but exceeded the goal and managed to pass me two weeks earlier than we initially planned. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to drive

Fantastic experience: Passed first time, no minors thanks to brilliant instructing. Highest quality and fastest instructors I've heard of, they got me a test within a weeks notice when I asked and was really fast, better than hoping I could find a cancellation and waiting for months. If you want the best instructors I couldn't recommend the connor's more.

Fantastic experience: Wow just wow. I was really struggling to get over the last hurdle of my driving test if failed a few previous tests and my confidence was way down in the dumps. A couple of lessons with Gavin and I was done. First test gav got me I was through. I cannot recommend Gavin enough he’s the best in the business.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic instructor. Likes you to put in plenty of driving practice in between lessons so you can learn new skills at the next lesson. Welcomes parents to sit in during lesson. Gavin is quite direct but fair in his manner. He has taught both my girls to drive, both passing first time. Will definitely be in contact in a few years when my youngest turns 17.

He was kind enough to take my request in so close to the test especially at such a busy period and though I had only a few days to train with him he ensured that every session was grilled into me improving my driving significantly. I eventually passed the test today and that too with only 2 minors. Highly recommend him and Connor's Driving School if you are looking for excellent and trustworthy instructors.

Fantastic experience: Got my test booked by Helen and skipped the waiting list for driving tests. I went from passing my theory to passing my test in a few months. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Honestly you won't believe the benifit of doing your driving test with Gav, Helen and Jack, what an amazing team. I went from theory to passing my practical test in 6 days and also passed with 0 faults. Everyone went above and beyond to provide me with the right frame of mind to get this done is such a short time. Gav made sure to see my flaws in my driving and made me feel confident that on the day I would be fine, Helen also did her best to get me a test day 5 months before the first available one anywhere else, she made sure to get me in somehow so quickly and unbelievably literally within a few days of me making the phone call I had my test booked for less than a week. And Jack did my mock tests and judged my ability to drive the same as the examiner did giving me the right practice on all the test routes. Can't thank you enough I had literally 6 hours worth of lessons and passed with no faults and no minors, gave the perfect drive and it's all down to this driving school. Special thanks to Gav and the team, honest, reliable and he even cancelled his golf to get me ready for my test.

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault them. Today I passed my driving test first time with 0 minors, after only a month and a half with Gavin. Each and every lesson was spent practicing stuff which is beneficial for the driving test, absolutely no time wasting. Gavin teaches you everything you need to know, and any issues with your drive are erased in minutes. I cannot thank Helen enough for getting me the early test, if it wasn’t for helen I would be waiting months and months longer for a test. Thank you so much helen! I did a 2 hour mock test with Jack a week before my mock test in which I did a few test routes and all 4 manoeuvres, and it turned out to be the exact same route as my actual driving test! The mock test highlighted all areas of my drive which needed work (all 4 majors and 11minors) and the mock test certainly set me up for success in the real thing . Cannot thank Gav, Helen and Jack enough, and would highly recommended them to anybody who wants to learn how to properly drive.

He brought on both my confidence and my driving through his extremely fine tuned eye for detail. There is no hiding from mistakes which makes the whole process so much quicker. I would recommend Gavin to anybody not only looking to pass your test but also become a good driver. Special mention to Jack who extended Gavin’s philosophy for the lessons I had with him.

This is the second of our children to pass their test first time with Connor Driving School and we will 100% be using again for our third child. Perfect team, Gavin, James and Jack instructing and doing mock tests for each others pupils (this was a really good pre test experience) and Helen organising the tests, she is amazing and takes all the stress out of it for parents and got us sorted really quickly!! After passing we also book a motorway lesson which is brilliant peace of mind knowing they’ve been taught correctly.
