Focus 2 Drive

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test first time after having lessons with Jeff at Focus2Drive. I had a bad experience with a previous instructor and was an anxious, older learner. Jeff was so patient with me and helped me overcome my anxiety about driving and really learn to love it. I don't think I would have passed without his guidance. When I made mistakes he was careful to explain to me what had happened and made sure I understood what I should be doing. My lessons were always tailored to what I needed and Jeff always took my anxiety about driving into account. I felt like I was driving with a friend most of the time. Now I absolutely love driving. I am so happy I picked Jeff as my instructor and would highly recommend him to anyone else looking to learn.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Johnny Keedy,, i will forever reconmend him to anyone whose looking for a driving instructor, he's such a likeable person and super easy to get along with, he adapts his teaching methods to benefit his students as best as possible, and he has his own cleaver tricks and methods to remember things, he's super clear and easy to understand, very patient and confident in his teaching, he's the perfect rolemodel for driving instructors. ty johnny :)

Fantastic experience: Jeff was brilliant, he recently gave lessons to my son Harry and he passed 1st time. What was most pleasing about Jeff was he took Harry out to drive straight away and sent him videos to watch at home rather than getting him to watch the videos during the 1st and 2nd lesson (which happens alot). Jeff gave us both feedback on what Harry was to work on when he came out with me and it work. I highly recommend Jeff as a driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: My daughter started learning in lockdown and it was a slow on off start unfortunately with the covid situation. However Jeff did deliver a positive experience for my daughter. Jeff’s patience and knowledge resulted in a confident driver. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff. Lots of my friends have used him and have had passed first time and been very very happy with the driving knowledge and experience gained.

Fantastic experience: After contacting Jeff with with a test already booked and one failed attempt, I had a lot of pressure on passing as the month after the booked test date I was to leave the uk and would require a drivers licence. After working with Jeff we went back to basics and started from the ground up, learning safely and precisely, we covered all the local test routes, many times, so on the day of the test the route I had been given was just like another lesson, and I breezed through and passed with one minor. many thanks to Jeff who always went above and beyond trying to accommodate my forever changing work schedules.

Fantastic experience: Jeff Hood was highly recommended to me by a friend and I passed my test 1st time with his help! I was a very nervous driver to begin with and can honestly say Jeff made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease behind the wheel. If I had a problem/question whilst driving, Jeff would ensure to explain it to me in a clear and concise manner. At the times I made mistakes, Jeff always maintained a good attitude. Jeff is a fantastic, patient and motivating instructor. And now… I love driving and having the freedom that comes with it. I see Jeff driving around with students and it was only recently I was following behind him whilst he was teaching; it made me laugh because I remembered how often he would ask me what the speed limit was on that same road as then I was too nervous to exceed 20mph!!! Fantastic experience: Jeff is a fantastic driving instructor!! He recognises how you learn as an individual and moulds his lessons around his student. He has the patients of a saint (I am living proof). He is always prepared, alert, professional and supportive. I honestly do not think anyone else could have taught me! He didn’t just teach me how to drive, he taught me how to be a safe, confident and focused driver. I often see Jeff teaching around Harrogate which makes me smile, knowing other people are receiving the same positive experience throughout such an important milestone of self independence/development.

Fantastic experience: I learnt to drive with Jeff after failing my test twice with other instructors. Jeff made me so at ease and it really did feel like I was driving with a friend rather than an instructor. He recommended that I postpone one of my tests which I did as I wasnt 100% ready. In the 2 month wait until my next test I was ready to go and passed with only 3 minors. I would and have recommended Jeff to anyone looking to learn to drive. Thanks so much Jeff. Driving has opened up so many doors for me and I absolutely love the freedom and also not having to walk the school run in the rain anymore lol.

Negative experience: My son had nearly 30 hours with Jeff , and the messages back from Jeff were mixed some weeks good some weeks bad , to then be told that he wasn’t prepared to let Ryan use the learner car for his test , which was fast approaching , more concerned with his pass rate than student welfare , total rip off and waste of time

Fantastic experience: We chose Jeff to teach our daughter Natalie. So glad we did, she passed first time with no faults and she is now a safe and responsible driver - thank you!
