Fantastic experience: I have just passed my driving test after 10 lessons with Tariq. He is a very great driving instructor and very passionate. He also made the manoeuvres easier for me to complete, compared to previous instructors. Recommend 10/10.
Pleasure teaching you to drive. Take care and drive safely for life.
Fantastic experience: I completed my driving lessons with Farrah Driver Training in Basildon, Essex, under the exceptional guidance of instructor Tariq, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Tariq's patience, expertise, and encouraging approach made the learning process enjoyable and stress-free. He tailored each lesson to my individual needs and abilities, ensuring that I felt confident and well-prepared for my driving test. The lessons were well-structured, and Tariq provided clear instructions, helpful tips, and constructive feedback, which greatly enhanced my understanding and skills. His dedication and commitment to helping me succeed were evident throughout my time with Farrah Driver Training. The driving school itself is professional and well-managed, providing a comfortable and safe learning environment. The booking process was straightforward, and Tariq was always punctual and reliable. Thanks to Tariq's guidance and Farrah Driver Training, I not only passed my driving test but also feel confident and secure on the road. I highly recommend Farrah Driver Training to anyone looking for a top-notch driving school in the Basildon, Essex area. Thank you, Tariq and Farrah Driver Training, for a fantastic learning experience!
Thanks for your comments. I am glad that you enjoyed lessons with my driving school and wish you well for the future.
Negative experience: As you insisted I too leave a review. 1. You were highly unprofessional and made threats to take away services if I did not send you more money. 2. You do not care for cliants financial wellbeing and only that you get as many lessons out of them as possible and pressure them to send you more money. 3. Your behviour was not in line with the ADI's Code of Practice. 4. There was no contract just informal agreements paid in blocks. 5. For it to constitute slander the information would have to be highly falsified, which it is not I have the texts to prove it. This is also a review page, that is what happens if you have a business. 0/10 would not recommend.
Hi,
I will reply according to the points raised:
1. Threats and unprofessionalism. All the lesson hours were agreed from the onset. We live in a democracy and no one can force anyone outside their wishes. You cited money issues and wished to reduce your lessons hours. As a responsible DVSA instructor I only take candidates for a test if one is up to Test Standard. I have your text on money issues. I run a business registered with HMRC, DVSA & OTHER PROFESSIONAL organisations. I need to cover my expenses, pay taxes and earn a decent return.
2."Cliants financial well being....get as many lessons...pressure them to send you more money" "Cliants" is pluralism (meaning more than one) Do you have any evidence for this may I ask? This is libellous, defamatory and a serious allegation which you have put on a public forum. A public rant will not get you anywhere.
3. ADI Code of Conduct (not practice as you have cited) is regulated by the DVSA. Been an ADI for over 15 years and have fully complied to be on the register.
4. A contract was formed with your agreement verbally. I provided professional lessons in return for a reward. All monies were transferred through your bank account. I have done ALL OF YOUR OUTSTANDING REFUNDS. THERE IS NOTHING OUTSTANDING.
I have answered all your points raised on a public forum. The matter is now closed.
Negative experience: We used this instructor as he was the only one available for last minute lessons for my partner and now it is clear why. He continued to add hours to the lessons outside of the agreed hours which meant he wanted more money, when we asked to reduce these by just 3 hours for financial reasons he was extremely unprofessional, rude and once we had transferred him more money he decided to cancel a mock test which is advertised on his website as part of the package which he replied but it costs me £40. Considering we have spent over £800 in 4 weeks this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The test is in less than a week and we have now had to cancel. Would not recommend.
You agreed to my prices when you enquired. I told you over the phone that I was the most expensive instructor in Wickford and Basildon. Your partner cited money problems and wanted to REDUCE THE AGREED CONTRACTUAL HOURS. He was paying in block of 10 hours £370. Your partner was not test ready for Chelmsford. The mock test is subject to availability and is only given to pupils who fulfil the test required hours. The independent ADI who does the mock test charges me £40! I have been operating also as a Fleet ADI to corporate customers such as B&Q DIY & other fleet customers. I train driving instructors for which I charge £45.00 per hour. Have appeared on BBC1, Channel 5, given numerous radio interviews to BBC Radio Essex for my driving knowledge and expertise. Article published by "Which?" magazine on eco driving. There is no point in being spiteful. Might make you feel good for a while but will not get you anywhere. Learning to drive requires financial outlay, commitment and self-motivation guided by a DVSA instructor. Your partner has access to two manual cars so there was no need to cancel the test next week. You don't need an instructor's car to do the DVSA practical test. Or found another ADI around Wickford and Basildon. There is no shortage of driving instructors!
"He continued to add hours ....outside of the agreed hours" this is a blatant lie. Under the Law of Tort is defamatory and slanderous. I WILL BE SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE FROM MY SOLICITOR. All the hours were agreed by your Partner. Why does your partner not DO THE REVIEW HIMSELF? Your partner terminated the AGREED HOURS. I HAVE FULLY REFUNDED HIS MONIES BY BANK TRANSFER. I don't need to deceive or act in a dishonest way. I am regulated by the government 's agency the DVSA.
Fantastic experience: Tariq was fantastic and patient with me during my intensive lessons he taught me soo well that today I passed first time with only 3 minors would 100% recommend
Thanks for your positive experience. Stay safe and many congratulations on your first time pass.
