Fantastic experience: I found Marc's number when I was panicking trying to find an instructor for a test I had swapped only 2 weeks from the time. He was honest and polite on the phone when we had our first conversation. We knew it would be a squeeze to fit in everything that I needed to know before the test and Marc made that clear to me before we started. At this point I had had some lessons but I didn't know burgess hill. Marc showed me all of the hard parts of the test area in only 6 short lessons and I ended up passing with only one minor. Thanks again Marc.

Fantastic experience: I can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am of Marc teaching me to drive, not only did he need a lot of patience as I really struggle with my nerves but I also needed someone to be straight to the point which Marc was but with abit of humour added to which made my lessons so much easier . Fantastic experience: I have been trying to learn to drive for a looong time: 25 years from my first ever lesson until now, and I just passed my test with Marc. I was an incredibly nervous driver and I truly believed I could not do it. After a seven year break from attempting to drive (and after three failed tests), I decided to pick it up again towards the end of 2024 and started learning with Marc. I explained that I was nervous driver and he taught me at my pace, while also pushing me just the right amount to keep me progressing. I was basically starting from scratch because I'd forgotten everything I learned, so I essentially went from nothing to passing the test in around 8 months, which feels unbelievably quick to me given how low my confidence in my own abilities was when we began. I would highly recommend Marc. He's very patient and engaged, and will tailor your lessons to you - he'll always have a plan but he's also happy to work on anything that you'd like to do. You can also trust him to be very on the ball and have a clear idea of your personal strengths and weaknesses. He also really cares and wants his students to pass - he is strict but that means that when you get praised, you know you've earned it! He also went above and beyond when it got closer to test time, arranging extra lessons and even doing very early morning pick ups before my extremely early test. If Marc can get me test-ready (and passing!), he can get anyone there. I can't recommend him highly enough - and he's given me the good habits and skills to continue being a safe driver now that I've passed my test.

Fantastic experience: I found Marc when I was in a real rush to get my driver's license. I told him about all my insecurities and difficulties right from the start, and he took it all on board without judgment. He came up with a clear plan and we got straight to work. Marc is incredibly patient, focused and generally coming to help you improve. He doesn’t just tell you what you did wrong, he explains it in a way that sticks. Some of the things he said still pop into my head while I’m driving! After a couple of months of lessons, I passed my driving test yesterday with only 4 minors, which honestly felt impossible when I first started. I couldn’t have done it without his support. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test! Twelve days ago, I managed to grab a last-minute test slot — and anyone who's tried recently knows how rare those are(GOLD DUST). At the time, I asked my instructor (Not Marc) if he could help me prep, since we’d been driving together since January 25th. Unfortunately, he said he didn’t have any availability. That’s when my ADHD and impulsivity kicked in — I thought, surely there’s someone out there who’ll take on this challenge! I messaged a bunch of instructors, and most said no. But then Marc replied. He didn’t commit right away — he said he’d get back to me. That response was surprisingly encouraging. I’d laid all my cards on the table, been totally upfront, and his willingness to even consider it meant a lot. He called soon after and offered to take me for a test drive to assess things. I’m not sure I warmed to him immediately — the pressure was on — but about 30 minutes into the lesson, I realised: Marc is very good at what he does. He genuinely wants to help people. He’s empathetic, calm, and incredibly effective — and that really resonated with me. Fast forward 27.5 hours of lessons later… I passed! I couldn’t be happier. Marc didn’t just teach me how to pass the test — he taught me how to be a safe driver. I’m so excited to be out on the road now. Massive thanks to Marc — and to anyone out there still trying to book their test, keep going. It can be done!

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test yesterday at Worthing! This was my third attempt at the practical driving test, first go with Marc. As my previous two times were in a manual, I was really hoping to get it done this time – and Marc made sure I cross the finish line, WITH 0 MINORS (no fault driving)! He’s an absolutely amazing person to chat with during lessons, and an equally good teacher. He understood that I was really anxious and had worries + bad habits from my previous two attempts. Slowly but surely, we overcame them. He makes the learner feel comfortable in his car, and excited about driving classes. Marc is strict, but not harsh. He is always looking out for you, making sure that your upcoming attempt is the last one! He is fair and flexible, giving me a good shot at maximum practice for all road conditions. I also want to put it out here that his passion for cars, comes out in his driving experience and teaching you how to be a good, safe, competent and confident driver. I have definitely gained more confidence than my previous two attempts as a driver, and will not be screaming internally when on the motorway anymore! I’d highly recommend Marc as your driving instructor. PS. If you’re not afraid of some facetiousness to calm your nerves down, and can handle honest constructive feedback; learning with Marc will be a fun experience! Good luck!

Fantastic experience: I passed this week first time with Marc! He got that I was going to be a slow learner and my confidence would need building, I felt in safe hands from the start. He made lessons enjoyable which really helped with any anxiety. He provided honest and constructive feedback and it strict when appropriate, it’s clear he wants you to become a safe and competent driver and be fully prepared for the test. Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Marc enough for all his support and skills. I was an extremely nervous driver and converted from manual to automatic. I found Marc to be supportive, reassuring, calm, honest, kind and friendly. Fantastic experience: Marc is an excellent driving instructor - I passed first time at Worthing yesterday. He was very thorough in assessing my level and needs, and was flexible in arranging lessons around my work schedule and location. He is reliable and punctual, always arriving early for lessons. I enjoyed our lessons and chats in the car, particularly the local knowledge of Brighton & Hove, Lancing and Worthing. Fantastic experience: I arranged driving lessons for my wife as her English isn't perfect. He fitted us in and was extremely friendly and accommodating even at fairly short notice. This was my wife's second teacher as she didn't like the first one. However, she loved Marc, he made her feel very relaxed and was a superb teacher. I can't fault Marc at all, great guy would highly recommend.... and my wife passed first time

Fantastic experience: I’m so lucky that Marc was able to fit me in at short notice, together we did an intensive course and I managed to pass after failing a test in Scotland over 10 years ago. We faced a few barriers with location but Marc was very accommodating and really wanted the best for me. Marc made me feel confident and always knew when to give praise, so I didn’t feel like it was all mistakes! I’m so grateful to him for everything that he’s done for me and I highly recommend Marc for anyone needing some lessons.

Fantastic experience: From personal experience I think it’s very difficult to find the right instructor who is good with nerves and encouraging, however Marc was an amazing instructor and he was very kind but also motivating. Marc is really good for any learners who struggle with driving anxiety, he’ll make sure that you’re comfortable and will do things at your pace. Very proud to say that he helped me pass.

Fantastic experience: Marc is a brilliant teacher. His calm, confident and encouraging presence is reassuring and in turn helped give me confidence in my driving. He went the extra mile (quite literally), fitting in lessons at short notice close to my test date, there to help via WhatsApp if I had any questions and he even offered to help book a cancellation test when the waiting list was long. It felt like Marc wanted me to pass my test almost as much as I did, and he helped me do just that. I recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Many thanks Marc. I have not driven for quite a bit but Marc has helped me to be confident on the roads again. I got a car but was worried from the beginning. Marc comes Sundays AM and we have a drive&chat around Brighton/Shoreham by Sea. Can only recommend Marc as he fully met my expectations. Btw. Was not easy to find the right person who would fit my "busy" schedule.
