Negative experience: Horrific experience- Paid upfront for training and the instructor was the rudest man I’ve ever met. He was so horrible to me that I couldn't go back the next day to complete the course for the week. After making an official complaint he just denied it. I am now £4000 down thanks to the bullying I experienced from the instructor at Ace Training. Don't expect a decent training school, it's just rough junk yard in the middle of nowhere with a rusty old truck to drive round in while the instructor bullies you or sits there texting the entire time. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: I went here in 2024 for an assessment. I was told that they would contact me and let me know how much the training would cost. Over a week passed and I called them to ask what was going on. I was shouted at by the lady and told they would call me when ready. They never called back . I would like to know what I had done wrong.

Fantastic experience: As a trainer in different roles, I highly recommend them! However, i failed 2 times at the Chelmsford test centre ( not the easiest in the UK). It was clearly my fault, all-time professionals , they firm with you when necessary, never personal. Gladly take you over routes, problems where you are struggling, showing you solutions for different scenarios . Only advice, trust the process!!!! Sadly not they decide if you are roadworthy or not.

Fantastic experience: After failing twice elsewhere I contacted ACE, they were brilliant instructor was brilliant gave me all the knowledge to pass my class 2 would highly recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: Lovely place. friendly staff. John and tracy and Mark. and me Mike. every day lorries used daf.s for training we recommend contacting tracy for a booking we will get you trained as soon as we can.class one or two upgrades for towing .

Fantastic experience: Amazing company, I wanted a retest ASAP and the previous school kept letting me down, ace managed to get it booked quickly, Mark my instructor knew his stuff, felt chilled and calm, he gave me a few pointers which enabled me to pass my class 2 with only 2 minors. Would recommend Ace over and over again. Thank you Tracey and everyone else

Negative experience: Very poor customer service. Phoned on two separate occasions and each time it took four attempts to get through. They make out there is a problem with your phone whilst they hang up on you, answer with just a hello and then deny it's Ace Training when you ask if it's them. Gave over my details to Tracy on 23rd May and said she would ring me back with more info and available dates etc. I still haven't had a phone call back so have taken my business elsewhere. The above also happened to a work colleague of mine when he tried to make enquiries with Ace. Perhaps you need to get your phone line checked for faults Ace! Not so Ace after all sadly!

Negative experience: Ring this company 4 times to ask for details about the class 1 training, the lady said will call me back in the afternoon but never happened. If you have no intention of giving me a detail about the course should said so from the beginning so i can go elsewhere not keep me waiting for the call. Disappointed ☹️.

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend this place, I passed my CPC and class 1 test with ACE, Mark is very good instructor with huge knowledge and it will help you to pass on the first go. 5 stars for this place!

Fantastic experience: A bit late to review but I passed with ACE in November 2004! I was training with Brian mongeyney(not spelt right) He got me and the other guy to pass first time for both of us. I remember brian was in the TA up in barnet. Great instructor hope his doing well :-)))

Fantastic experience: Have used on numerous occasions now for varying qualifications. Very knowledgeable instructors and a pleasure to deal with.

Negative experience: Average and don't recommend at all. Had passed my Class 1 but offered training was really poor. CPC training was about 2 hours long and the most important thing was... to read photocopy of some basic information and tie up a knot... Driving instructor arrogant and focused on his privates things around the area, cut the edges to finish training day as soon as possible. Learn how to pass the exam on little effort possible, without much commitment
