Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend enough! My partner mark went to do the 8 hour one to one course over 2 days and passed extended driving test first time with flying colours. Kim’s hospitality was great food was lovely bedrooms was small but clean & that’s all ya need tv Wi-Fi. Can’t thank Kim enough for making him feel so welcome there. Also his driving instructor mark played a huge part in him passing he couldn’t speak more highly of him. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Really good hotel to stop at, the Woman who runs it is really nice and cooks you a nice breakfast for you in the mornings, she even got up and made it early for me on my last morning before my driving test, the hotel is nice and clean and I would recommended this place to everyone! 5 stars from me.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to say ty to Kim we had a great stay. Hospitality was very welcoming and made to feel at home. And i would like to say to Alan my driving instructor a very BIG thank you mate 8 hours and passed the man is a legend if get a chance ask for Alan top bloke

Fantastic experience: I've just got back from stying at the L Factor for 4 days. What a lovely experience! Kim is the most warm and kind host, she really makes you feel like you're in a home from home. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and clean with everything you could wish for. Breakfast was just amazing and there was so much attention to detail. Thank you so much much Kim for having me, couldn't recommend the L factor enough.

Fantastic experience: I went there this week for a course and I am going back but my instructor darren was excellent and so was Kim makes you feel so welcome and just like having a second mum breakfast is lovely and evening meals beautiful lovely rooms it's just like you are staying at home there is nothing they would not do see you soon Kim ❤️

Fantastic experience: Kim is very attentive, shows pride in her beautiful home. Friendly welcome on arrival, the breakfasts were delicious and had lovely finishing touches. Cosy and homely! Definitely recommend, will miss morning chats over a coffee good job Kim!

Fantastic experience: I went to the L factor about 10 years ago and passed my driving test which helped me change my career, and I have never regretted it since. Kim and her family was really welcoming and became a real home from home while I was there. They gave me any assistance or re assurance I needed during my time along with the instructor I had ( Steve) that man is a legend and he should get a mention in this review. The only 2 things I would suggest to anyone going to the L factor for the first time is 1. Do the theory test before you go there. 2. Do the 1 on 1 driving option. Shared driving is more ideal if you need to re take the practical test in my opinion. Brian Langley

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended kim was fantastic. Hospitality was amazing, rooms clean and nice breakfast. Mike was an excellent instructor and both of us that where on the course passed.

Fantastic experience: where do I start... all I can say is amazing. yes I passed my test today so of course I am happy but from the start of the 4 day course it was so relaxed and nothing was too much bother. Bedrooms are relaxing and the house is clean.. breakfast made to order and lots of variation. It was nothing like I expected for the price. It is homely and Kim makes you feel so welcome. She also tutors you through the theory test if you opt in. I can't believe I got a 48/50 score with 24 hours practice but Kim does have ways to help you learn it.

Fantastic experience: been on a 5 day course this week,well worth the money for the experience you gain,mike the instructor is very good at what he does and helps you through the whole process,the hotel is very clean and modern inside and kim is there to help should you need it,i unfortunately failed my test due to taking my eye off the ball,but am pretty confident i will pass in the very near future,what you learn there in such a short time is more than you would learn after weeks/months of driving lessons,highly reccomend!

Fantastic experience: Had a great time practicing driving as I’ve been driving for years and just needed to brush up on the skills needed to pass, Kim was an amazing host and she helped with the nerves, Also Jim my driving instructor was amazing and got me to were I needed to pass, I highly recommend the L factor.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to learn and with great support remember they don't guarantee to pass you they can't, I didn't unfortunately but the experience for me was all worth it, I went on to pass two weeks later, in my own city. What I was taught in the four days I spent here was much better than what I learnt over 5 months from a nationwide company. Would I recommend... Yes, I would, in fact, I think I have recommended a few people to the L factor over the last few years, the accommodation is also excellent nice comfy rooms with tv in. The only advice I would give is. Please try it out and listen to what the instructor has to say don't go thinking well I can drive and I will pass as am sorry it does not work like this, listen and learn and you'll be fine.

Fantastic experience: Perfect if you just want go get it out the way. Perfectly nice place to stay. I had no issue at all with swapping over the driving with another learner in the car, as would find it hard to concentrate for that long. They can't pass the tests for you, everything you need is there, you just need to get on and do it. Expect to take the test in a differnt place from where you practice. I would defiantly recommend, I passed both Theory and Practical first time.

Fantastic experience: Had The Best Time It Was Great The Accommodation Was Lovely The Breakfast Was Great And The instructors Were So Good Had No Bother Passing My Test I Highly Recommend That’s You Go The The L Factor It Was Brilliant .!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic...very welcoming an homely ...I passed with only 3 minors I would highly recommend this place to anyone the instructors are fantastic an Kim is a fantastic host....I give 5 stars an more if I could...thanks for a fantastic week.....

Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend this service, if you fail your theory, then there's not much point in staying there as you are unable to pass your driving test.....a very expensive theory test. My daughter was warmly welcomed by kim. But there was no sign of her after she failed her theory test. Kim was simply not interested thereafter, my daughter came home extremely dissapointed. Had Kim been there to support her as promised, then she may well of stayed. Kim said to another learner driver she would ring my daughter, which she never.... If you are going to use this service, i would suggest you take your theory beforehand

Negative experience: WASTE OF MONEY & THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFEEEE! My overall experience was horrendous & traumatic, one which I shall never forget. Upon arrival Kim was very friendly “call me Aunty, I’m you’re Aunty for the week” once paid she was nowhere to be seen & completely dis- acknowledged us. Me & my friend had to share one old car. Our driving lessons consisted of us doing 1hour each & swapping until we both had completed 3hours each. I told Mike the instructor I was not happy with this arrangement In which he agreed to dedicate the morning to him & afternoon to me. 5 days we learnt to drive in Preston & Blackpool. While his test was booked there which he passed. My practical had been booked over 1hour away in a different city. Which was only bought to my attention on the 3rd day. I requested Mike to take me to that area in order for me to become more familiar & confident. He rejected this due to “having no time” although we were driving on a daily basis for 3hours. What did I pay for ? On the 4th day my friend told me Mike had “suggested” we take our luggage with us on my practical & go home from there. This infuriated me. As it didn’t make sense for us to do that as it would lengthen the journey for our lift & I questioned how anyone in their right mind would suggest leaving 2 people stranded in a industrial estate freezing cold for 4-5 hours with our heavy luggage. The lack of proffesionalism provided be Kim was beyond appalling. The day of my practical went very badly! The brakes failed on the vehicle and the car broke down. I was left alone in the middle of no where waiting for Mike and my friend to arrive 38mins after. The roads were very narrow and bendy. I don’t understand how they expected me to pass my test when I had 0 practice & 0 knowledge of what to expect. And her reply was we have to agree to disagree, how in hell does that make any sense. I’m very disappointed and frustrated. I spent £610 for a service which I clearly did no receive & further to that I had other expenses such as travelling to & from Blackpool (130miles). I had to arrange for a babysitter for my daughter which also cost me. So whoever is considering taking this course please do not! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! DOESNT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR

Fantastic experience: The Tutors were very helpful and clear on what needed doing to get passed the test, also having the Theory instructor their to help with any queries about the Theory test was a massive help. Kim was wonderfully welcoming and breakfast was always really nice, now both me and my little brother have Used The L factor to pass our tests first time and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Negative experience: Unorganised! You have to share a car, and an old one at that! If you fail your theory ,then your doomed as a back seat passenger. Terrible, and definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone. The rooms are tiny too.

Negative experience: Okay bnb shared toilet and shower, as for the practical side(driving) not very professional, I wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic experience: I passed with this company 9 years ago ..never looked back since..glad to see they are still hard at it!
