Fantastic experience: Nigel is the driving instructor who will make you feel that lessons are fun. He is very welcoming and supportive. He will help you identify areas that you need to improve at, and help you be better in those areas. Nigel will help you be a safe driver. My driving lessons started to feel like dreaded occasions (because I was so nervous in my first few lessons) to one of the things that I look forward to in the week as I became more confident and comfortable. Nigel helped me believe in myself that I can be a good and safe driver, and has repeatedly told me so. Comments like this may seem unimportant to other people, but for a person who tends to doubt her own ability, these comments made me strive harder to do better. I couldn't imagine having a different instructor, because Nigel was not just an instructor but also a friend. Thank you, Nige! I will be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: Nige can explain in a way that is very easy for everyone to understand even for a learner like me that English is not my first language. I am an overthinker. If you said 1+1=2, my question would be why it is necessary to do 1+1 but not 2+2 etc. My mind is always preoccupied with something, which delays my decision-making process, thus causing fault. In the middle of lessons, I struggled with everything, for example, I did not know where I should steer when I reverse back, and I was confused with the Sat Nav. He went through every step with me to clarify my misconception. He said driving is difficult enough, so it is best to keep everything simple. He taught me easy steps to follow and emphasised the importance of doing one step at a time. He is warm and caring. I went through a life event that I needed to change the date of my practical exam. He asked what my next step was and gave support to me. Finally, I passed my exam on my first attempt. That is something I have never dreamed of before. Now, I do not need to take a 2-hour train to Shrewsbury or a 3-hour bus for lessons! However, I have never looked back because I learned so much from him. Also, I think he is an interesting person to know. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic experience: I am a textbook learner and so I've always struggled with learning to drive. Two instructors later and with just over 6 months until my theory test expired, I put all of my confidence into Nige, it is safe to say that it was not misplaced. Switching to automatic was the best decision I made, Nige tailored his way of teaching to my way of learning, even though that meant him listening to me ramble on whilst I wrote notes at the end of each lesson. He was patient, knowledgeable and incredibly flexible. I passed my driving test first time with only four driving faults. I have to credit this success to Nige because I couldn't have done it without him. I still find it absolutely surreal to be able to say that I can legally drive, he gave me the confidence when I needed it and ultimately got me over the finish line. If you're looking for a new driving instructor, believe me when I say - Nige is the one!

Fantastic experience: I could never thank Nige enough for being very patient and encouraging. He is a professional through and through, always very willing to answer even my dumbest questions and nothing is ever difficult for him. He is so calm (I don't even know where he gets his patience from) and the atmosphere inside the car during lessons is always light and positive. I have enjoyed every bit of my lesson and not once felt pressured. We always have a good laugh and he's just a delight to work with. When I started driving, I was soooo nervous but his manner always makes me feel at ease and I gained the confidence I need to pass. He made sure I am in the best position to pass ☺️ I'll absolutely miss our driving lessons but I am sure you'll help somebody else. ☺️ IF YOU WANT TO PASS YOUR TEST, DEFINITELY GET NIGE!!! You're the best Nige, thank you!

Fantastic experience: I started lessons with Nige just over 6 months ago and passed my test with only 4 minors on a difficult country route! Although glad to have passed I will miss Nige’s humour, jokes and constant support. Honestly the best instructor I could have ever wished for, I didn’t think I would like driving as I thought it would be scary and stressful, however Nige always made me feel safe, happy and confident in my abilities all whilst cracking a joke! Thank you for everything Nige! I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and just generally lovely person to be my instructor!
