Fantastic experience: I went to dulson training LTD to carry out my HGV class 1 training/tests and CPC qualifications. All training provided was effective and efficient giving me the confidence and knowledge to pass DVSA assessments first time. All communications were fantastic from start to finish and within two weeks from never driving a lorry I was a qualified class 1 driver with CPC. Would highly recommend this company to anyone considering taking their training. I will certainly return in future for CPC training. Fantastic experience: Dulsons Training I would definitely recommend, I passed my HGV class 2 and will be taking my class 1, my trainer mark is very good, makes sure you understand and takes his time with you. My only suggestion I would recommend, the first day of training, instead of 8hours I would break it up into another day, its alot too take in and after that long of training your brain could be overloaded at that point.

Fantastic experience: I had gone to Dulson’s as a result of their reputation. I completed my CPC, counter balance forklift course and C + E with no issues. The instructors, Rose, Dave, Chris and Simon were very clear and went out of their way to make sure that I knew what was required. If you have to take any mandatory training, I can thoroughly recommend Dulson’s. They will make the training enjoyable, understandable and at times fun. All training was done at a good pace with any questions answered and explained.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dulson Training enough. My instructor was Paul and he was a wealth of knowledge. No question was to stupid and everything was explained step by step and repeated whenever needed, I couldn't of passed it without his help and leadership. The whole experience was laid back, jokes of plenty, information and questions to download and learn as homework. If you are thinking of doing a higher education course in furthering your driving ability, Dulson Training is the place to be!!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank the team at Dulsons enough, from start to finish it was a fantastic experience. My instructor Steve R was a legend! His years on the roads and wealth of knowledge of all things HGV related was phenomenal and his style of teaching really gave me the tools to ace my module 3a & 3b. Today I landed my first ever Class 2 job and it’s all down to the confidence that Steve gave me during that week of training. When it’s time to do my C+E in the future I’ll definitely be using Dulsons!

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my c+e driving test, my driving instructor was Stu, he taught me well and was probably the best instructor I could have wished for. He made me feel at ease and confident in my driving, i learned a lot from him and listened to his instructions on how to handle the vehicle, the 2 weeks I was with him was a genuine pleasure.

Negative experience: This is an honest review of my car to class 1, 24hr course with Dulson Training LTD. I had one instructor Monday to start my training and then another who was training me until my test. They were both brilliant instructors (Grant and Darrell). Very professional, knowledgeable and patient. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend Dulson to a friend as from my experience the vehicles are not well maintained. Day 1 the vehicle broke down after 20 minutes driving, resulting in a lost hour of my training. The next vehicle had several air leaks (Inc trailer) and every few hours of driving, a warning message appeared with a throttle pedal fault, resulting in no throttle response until it cleared. Luckily it didn't occur during my test (which I passed) but non the less, it's disconcerting for a learner. Day 2, I witnessed a physical altercation between two of the Dulson instructors along with verbal abuse. This is deeply unprofessional considering it happened right in front of myself and another student, interrupting my vehicle daily check. Due to the points mentioned above, even though I passed 1st time, I wouldn't recommend to a friend.

My trainers Paul H and Paul were brilliant teaching me to reverse the trailer round cones and hitching the trailer on and off for the 3A test and then drumming into me to use my mirrors over and over again, finally it went in and i passed 1st time with 1 minor. Can recommend Dulsons Training enough and if your thinking about it, just Do IT

Fantastic experience: What an amazing 4 days training from car to LGV. My trainer was Paul then another Paul, both great guys who kept drumming into me what to do, especially the 3A part reversing around the cones and into the garage bed, that I must admit found a bit hard to perfect but it all came together on day 3 I had been more than prepared to pass the 3b test on day 4 and smashed with 1 minor, Thanks to the Dulson training center who gave me confidence to believe in myself and smash it

Fantastic experience: I always believe we are never to old to learn, but learn from the best!! Those that put people before money, those that are passionate about what they do and going the extra mile is something they love to do. At 62yrs that’s exactly what I decided to do. Dulsons training team are certainly the elite professional training team , they certainly went above and beyond and to them it’s probably what they do every day. They made me feel important and from day dot, the first time I spoke to the lovely professional Pat, I felt at ease, it’s no easy task thinking you can get a 42ft coach through a busy Shrewsbury town when you have never driven one before, let alone pass a test in one. But in a very short period with their professionalism and guidance and “can do attitude” and my brilliant trainer Simon, he certainly put me through my paces and guided me through it. Whist I hit a few challenges along the way, they kept me going with their “ solutions to problems bless them. CPC was so much fun with the lovely Rosemary and Dave, I had so much full and I learnt so much and I am now not just a driver butttt a “professional driver” I can’t thank you all enough, for “making a difference” and showing me in such a short space of time what is achievable with the best team behind you. Huge thanks to Steve, the lovely Josh, Dave and the rest of the team for sharing your knowledge, now my journey begins, thanks to you all. Vehicles used were always clean and well maintained and although there was a lot of information to take on board it was easily done with their ways of teaching. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I completed the Car to HGV Cat C+E with zero previous experience. Course was tailored to 7 days and included all relevant tests to get both the licence and the driver CPC. All tests passed first time including the final on road driving test. The instructors at Dulson are excellent and the whole training setup works well. For me it was a great 7 days and I learned a lot. If you want your truck licence this should be your first stop!

Fantastic experience: I initially wasn't happy with dulson because unfortunately there was a lot of miscommunication and changes made to my sons training It took a while to set up and many bookings were changed This is not a good thing for people who have autism like my son However thankfully Finally he was put on the course last week with a chap named Andre And I just wanted to say thank you so much to Andre My sons FLT instructor at the Rodenhurst site My son has ASD and struggles with communication I am always worried about him and how he will get on in the world But his training with Andre was absolutely brilliant Andre listened to me about my sons struggles and taught him in such a way that he passed yesterday with flying colours of 99% And he even had my son who is a selective mute laughing joking and talking to him Which is quite the fête So I hope dulsons acknowledge the fact that they have picked well and they have a good instructor there If anyone is thinking about going to get their FLT licence or any other vehicle licence I would recommend Dulson Even if you have a disability I'm so chuffed that my son passed and I'm looking forward to a bright future for him Thank you Andre Thank you Dulson

I then met my trainer Trevor, who taught me everything considering i have never driven one before, i am very grateful for his teachings and advice he got me through all the tests i was very lucky to have him. Fantastic experience: Steve has such a great team, honestly I can't express how great everyone helped, they worked with me to plan the course dates so that it would fit in with my calendar. Also a massive thank you to Mark for putting up with a tipper driver, I honestly thought i was going to fail due to being a tipper driver I know we have a reputation for are driving but you managed to change my driving style in little time. I was lucky to have Austen as my instructor, Austen has a wealth of experience having lived in America for 15 years driving big trucks over there, he’s been driving trucks since he was 18 and it shows, he made it feel so do-able, so relaxing and explains everything in the easiest terms possible, he knows exactly when to to praise and also knew exactly when to give me the telling off I very much needed after letting my standards drop the day before my test, if your lucky enough to train with Austen, all I advise is trust him and listen, you won’t go far wrong if you do!! They are able to easily adapt to each individual, and to tailor their instruction to that individuals requisite needs. The instructors are concise without being over officious, and they don't cloud the lessons with superfluous narrative. I had a total of 4 instructors, and the means of instruction remained constant. In short, they gave me the skills and confidence I needed to become a qualified LGV Class1 driver. I would thoroughly recommend Dulson Training Ltd to anybody who has the desire to become a professional driver, regardless of its category. It was a pleasure to be so thoroughly trained.

Fantastic experience: Dulsons are spot on as always, did my Class 2 with them in 2018, ADR around 5 weeks ago and class 1 last week.
