Our uniquely enjoyable skid control experience teaches valuable driving skills in a risk-free environment and we’re confident you’ll leave Donington Park a better, safer, road user.

Following a short safety briefing, you will venture to our skid pan area for a skid car experience based on a hydraulic skid frame built specially for the purpose. You’ll understand about what actually makes a car skid and experience the feeling of loss of car control on ice and water and then, most importantly, you’ll learn how to react quickly to put you back

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyable and valuable experience, I loved it! Been driving for 23 years but never liked driving in snow, ice or heavy rain.....mainly because of other idiots on the road! But i learnt so much doing the skid pan training, the chap who taught me was wonderful and really knew his stuff. I've done nothing but recommend this to my friends since I did it. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Fantastic experience: A very well prepared and highly rewarding driving experience. I found the knowledge of the instructor extremely valuable and the skid pan was fantastic. I feel and think I have gained vital skills for tricky situations.

Positive experience: Good experience learning how to control the car in different skid conditions. Simulated icy, aquaplaning etc. There were 3 of us in the day and we got plenty of time driving during the course. Instructor was knowledgeable and gave us some useful advice. Sorry I forgot to note his name but it was Mon 11 Nov at 1pm. The only tip I would give is that it would useful to be able to book the course online. You need to call them office hours Mon to Fri or email even if you have a voucher.
