We started off over 20 years ago and have recently moved from where people might recognise us from, Derby Cattle Market on West Meadows. We have now expanded and moved to West Bridgford, Derby and finally our Long Eaton site which is also where our main Admin office is located. Professional Instruction, Friendly Service, 7 days a week which can be tailored to each individuals needs and requirements to be able to make all training go as smoothly and enjoyable as possible with over 100yrs combined experience.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant day taking my CBT in Derby. The instructors, Leo, Shaun and Andy were excellent, extremely professional, knowledgeable and made the whole day very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Shires to anyone. A+++

Fantastic experience: I initially took my CBT with another company and I was unimpressed with the quality of service and level of professionalism. From the moment I first contacted Shires I was much happier with the level of customer service (thankyou Hollie for facilitating everything). I then got excellent instruction from Ash, Leo and Paul, and l I was able to pass my part 1 test first time with no prior riding experience on roads. A week later after a 1 1/2 days instruction with Leo I passed my part 2 first time too. It's not cheap obtaining your motorcycle license so it pays to choose a capble company with excellent instruction,bikes, gear and attitude. Highly recommended. Thank you.
