Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test yesterday and am absolutely over the moon! David from Dsssm driving school was an amazing teacher for me. He taught me so much about responsibility and real life skills, not just about passing the test. He gave me the courage to become a competent driver, and stuck with it through hard times and good times. Id consider myself nervous at times, but I have learnt a new confidence through my lessons with David. I chose this driving school by chance, and am so grateful I did. I absolutely recommend Dsssm driving school to everyone learning to drive, and have already recommended multiple of my close friends. David is such a patient and kind teacher, and I always felt like I can be honest with him about my driving journey. He always provided flexibility with my lessons, to work around my job and my personal life which was important to me. I am so confident to get on the roads now, thanks so much! Couldn’t have done it without you!

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test last week. My English is not good but David taught me patiently and encouraged me. He is a very responsible instructor and very helpful. My wife and I were both taught by him. Thank you very much. It is worth recommending.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed an intensive driving course with David and passed my test first time with only 2 minors, so in many ways the result itself speaks for David’s ability as thoughtful and meticulous instructor. He is a friendly chap who was quick to tailor the course and shape his way of teaching to suit my personality. He is firm but fair and his approach is well considered and personally thoughtful. Fantastic experience: I had struggled with manual when I first started learning pre-covid and I couldn't get on with it, being Autistic and processing things differently I'd thought it'd be near impossible for me to pass (not on any instructors fault) but I did with Dave's help, first time too, He's been very adaptive to little problems that came up here and there and underneath that anxiety gave me enough to get through it :) Couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: David has been a fantastic instructor over the past few days on my intensive driving course, and thanks to his patient help, considered approach to his instruction and empathy, I was able to pass my practical test first time! I would thoroughly recommend David as an instructor - in particular due to how quickly he was able to understand the areas I was finding challenging initially and tailored his instruction to best suit my learning style. Fantastic experience: I would like to say a big thank you to David. I’ve had three different instructors previously who I’ve been to test with several times and failed. I passed my driving test the first time after doing lessons with David. I did 2 hours of lessons constantly for 6 months. David provided clear and constructive feedback after each lesson. I was able to write the information down after each lesson and go over my notes, as this is how I learn best. David went above and beyond to help me pass my test. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to pass. Thank you again David!

Fantastic experience: Huge thanks once again to David! Took a 25-hour intensive driving course for an automatic car, and by the end, I was able to pass the driving test. I was initially skeptical after reading some Google reviews, but I ended up being really pleased with the overall quality of each driving lesson and the course as a whole. I appreciated David's honesty; if you're making good progress, he'll tell you. If he thinks you can do better, he'll say so. And if you make the same silly mistake for the third time, he won't ignore it. The course was by no means easy or relaxed; every session was a challenge. I had my good days and bad days, but here's the deal: if you're looking for an instructor who'll act like your bestie and not challenge you, this place isn't for you. David takes his job seriously and is all about getting you results. (Also, personal advice: if you're learning to drive, I'd recommend checking out The Ultimate Driving Course. It provides a good theoretical foundation that'll benefit you before you even get behind the wheel.)

Fantastic experience: I had driving lessons with David for 6 months, 2 hour lessons once a week. I struggle with various mental health issues but David was very understanding and not judgmental at all. On my second lesson I felt very overwhelmed with all the information I was being given, I really doubted if I could manage driving. At the beginning of my third lesson I explained to David how I felt and what I thought would be best for me when taking on instructions/new information. He adapted and took on board what I said which was great. Since then every lesson was a learning experience and David was strict but fair which I believe kept me concentrated and focused. I took my test on 15/08/2023 and passed first time thanks to David. I would recommend David without a doubt 5* from me

Negative experience: The driving instructor I been assigned with names David was a very rude individual that thinks he’s the queen of the world. I was very rudely treated by him and will not recommend to my worst enemies what I went through with him.

Fantastic experience: Can't reccomend David enough, he really went above and beyond! We started off getting on really well and unfortunately there were some personal issues (not between us). Despite this David was extremely accommodating throughout. I failed my test on the first time and given the circumstances David offered to pay for another test and gave me some free hours. He tried to do it for free and I told him I felt uncomfortable and in the end I managed to pay him some extra money through a bit of persuading. David is a fantastic instructor who really knows how to bring out the best in your driving, he has an incredible eye for detail to prepare you for your test and I passed with only 3 minors. An exceptionally professional and outstanding person in and outside the car.

Negative experience: Absolute rip off !!! One star feels too kind. I signed up with One week Diving for an intensive driving course which was meant to take place every single day. David was my allocated driving instructor. I must say as the lessons went on I became more uncomfortable and uneasy with lessons. Receiving mixed messages/feedback. He also had a go at me (shouted) on a few occasions but I persevered he made no attempt to make use of my cancellation service in order to obtain an earlier date once my 37 hours were done he advised I needed more hours. He also used up my hours to drive me to Milton(Cambridge) in order to begin lessons, i did very little country road driving and no Motor way driving. I eventually gave up because he put me off driving. After a few weeks i decided to give it a go but found another driving school. I texted messaged him 4 times for my refund and he is yet to respond. I cannot believe what a cheat he is. I will not be leaving things here and I truly wish I had done some research on him before accepting him to be my instructor. I do not advise anyone to use his services because the chances are he will make you doubt yourself all so you can book more hours. I also paid £30 per hour with him. Complete and total rip off!!

Negative experience: Well, after taking a week intense course with David, it put me off driving! He made me feel so uncomfortable, he would swear at me, made me cry! Total waste of money! Do not take your lessons with David! My friend also went with David and she said the same thing! He told her she wasn't ready for her test when she was and he was so rude to her because she booked it.. she took the test and passed, he didn't say well done! He was meant to drop her back off but left her stranded at the test centre! Do NOT book with David!
