DVSA driving test center: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Spoko pomagają rozładować samochody.
Fantastic experience: On the day of my test, I was so tensed and anxious and fortunately for me, when I met my examiner, David, he was so calm, friendly and he gave very clear instructions. I felt so relaxed and at ease .
Fantastic experience: I had my test yesterday, and my examiner was David. He was so calm and that made me feel at ease, we conversed as we drove.May God bless you for me.And I hope you get to see this some day. Cheers
Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service from the driving examiners and all the staff. Easy place to find. Plenty of free parking.
Fantastic experience: Had my test today at this centre. Harry was my examiner, from the offset he made me feel at ease, engaged in conversation with me which helped the time fly also. In the end I passed with only two minors, He went on to explain what I had done wrong and what to look for in future. I can’t say I had a bad experience at this centre considering the reviews I have read. I’d definitely recommend!
Fantastic experience: I had my first test in this centre around two weeks ago. The examiner was a lovely lady. Unfortunately, I forgot her name. She was an absolutely great person. She didn’t make me stressed at all. She was so calm. We had a chat, and I passed it on the first attempt!
Negative experience: Terrible place, wait time was horrendous in the cold , when he finally arrived I was approached by a very rude arrogant male examiner who accused me of being late because I simply sat in car as I was cold became of the mobile waiting area set up ! When I explained I'd been there 25 mins he rudely told me to exit the vehicle and follow him while he stormed off ahead. From the get go he had a awful attitude ,sent my nerves sky high. Smirked at me getting a show and tell question wrong and rollerd his eyes ..Spoke with a unprofessional tone throughout, I knew I'd failed from a simple mistake however I think he was looking to fail me. When he delivered the result it was blunt, matter of fact and then he left sharply. Awful experience. Avoid this place . Peachman way are way more professional and put you at ease .
Fantastic experience: Had my test this morning with Mike, who was fantastic. Just the right mixture of professional and kind. Put me at ease, and I managed to pass! Afterwards, he explained my mistakes carefully, giving tips and guidance to help me avoid making them again. A 10/10 experience and examiner.
Fantastic experience: My examiner was a lovely lady (can’t remember her name but she’s got long blonde hair), she was so kind and respectful. I passed and was happy with the overall experience. The only problem was there is no actual building for waiting room or toilet and there’s just a cabin type situation and portable toilet thing and it had no running water.
Negative experience: My first ever test was with an examiner named Harry, If you get him, I personally feel sorry for you, he’s a horrible miserable old man who abuses his power, during my test he laughed under his breath to try to intimidate me, many times, every time I thought i did something wrong he made weird facial expressions I could see in the corner of my eye then continued with an ugly smirk, his tone was very undermining furthermore when the test concluded and he left the car, I could hear him laughing very loud, (assuming he’s just turned his camera off) people like this should not be aloud to do jobs like these, I’m very disappointed and hope the correct disciplinary actions will be taken.
Negative experience: I passed. But i wasnt full of happiness and joy like you should be. I felt bullied. Had jokes made during my test which made me feel like i had failed. (Yeah you was lot closer than id of been put it taht way) also he had the seat reclined back so he was pretty much laying down it really out me off! I was told after i passed i failed as a joke. I then had a comment of good luck driving your gonna need it then he left. At this point i was confused. My instructor gave me a huge hug to try brighten the moment but i honestly got home and cried and ive been so knocked down i dont to want to drive my little confidence i had has gone. I mean how can he say all these things yet i passed. Im pretty sure he wanted me to fail and had messed up his intentions of me failing when he he scored at the end of my test. Not a nice experience at all and one that u only get once. He ruined my moment that ive worked so hard for and instead its replaced with a bad memory now.
Negative experience: If I could, I’d give this place negative stars but google wont let me. Despite the examiner saying he’s failing on me not using of mirrors, thought it be best not to argue as it wouldn’t get me anywhere, but I know for a fact that I had been using my mirrors at all times, before moving off, before stoping and before slowing or before driving off. But hey ho, don’t use this test centre. Go to Kings Lynn instead.
Negative experience: I think the examiner; John just wants people to fail. They make up serious faults and fail you. He could not say just 1 serious fault I made when i asked but concocted 2 of them in the email he sent me later. Its pathetic.
Negative experience: Driving examiner Harry at Jupiter road is a very rude person and possibly sexist and does not have a clue in my opinion. Told my daughter driving was good and smiled and said but I am failing you for using your mirrors to reverse the car and not looking out of back window and telling her “we drive on the left in England “ because she got in the right hand lane at a set of lights and both lanes went straight over. Harry both lanes are used to ease congestion ,if we all sit in left lane like you suggest then cities will be gridlocked with extreme traffic queues , both lanes are used and you merge in when it goes to a single carriage way .Perhaps Harry would benefit from some driving lessons himself . I think examiners at this place have a competition to see who can fail the most or who can fail for the silliest mistakes. Avoid this centre at all costs if possible .
Negative experience: I believe that despite the official statements, examiners fail candidates because they have to. My examiner wasn't very friendly and was smiling when telling me I failed which wasn't very nice at all with a comment "apart from these mistakes (which I am 100% sure were made up) it was a lovely drive"... I wouldn't recommend this test centre.
Fantastic experience: I had failed several driving tests and have given up for a year or so After moving to Norwich and having not driven in this time, I started lessons under Pwi Ha and was up to speed in no time, she is very helpful and also lovely to speak to, I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn how to drive
Fantastic experience: I had my test today with John. He was calming and friendly allowing me to be focused and portray my driving abilities to the best of my ability safely and confidently. Great guy, thanks a lot.
Fantastic experience: I had David as an examiner. Kind and calm. Very clear and precise instructions. Couldn’t recommend more! Thank you
Negative experience: would give 0 stars if i could the examiner harry was very unfriendly , he was an old grumpy man. when he told me i had failed he laughed and smiled explaining the faults in a mocking way. After he left the car he was smiling. i’ve had two bad experiences with him and heard another girl also had a similar issue with him. he doesn’t seem like a fair examiner at all
Negative experience: The examiner I had was quite unfriendly and rude when giving, I think his name is Zac. I had a good drive with my instructor to the driving test centre and was quite confident. From the moment I met the examiner, I became extremely nervous and his presence in the car did not help me at all. I noticed that the other examiner with the learner driving behind was quite friendly and having a good chat while mine was just too unfriendly. I knew I made mistakes but he was very rude when giving feedbacks, I felt he should have been polite during my debriefs. After the encounter with him, I lost all confidence with learning to driving and I'm just starting over again. I think he may benefit from anger management and customer care training.
Fantastic experience: My test didn't actually seem like one. I enjoyed it.John was my examiner at Jupiter center
Fantastic experience: During the start of my test I was nervous which my examiner (Helen) noticed and had a small chat with me about my alevels where we had a laugh which helped me calm down and inevitably to pass my driving test and not go into panic mode. Thank you so much Helen for giving me such a lovely experience.
Fantastic experience: Excellent
Fantastic experience: It was great experience. I failed once in Lowestoft and my second attempt was in jupiter road test centre. The examiner was so good and made me confident and comfortable. Very good examiners and good environment. If you get the slots there, please book and you will pass.
Fantastic experience: My daughter broke down on her test recently. Her examiner Rick was amazing and so supportive of my daughter. Thank you so very much for your kindness Rick. The lady examiner there tried to help us also as we were stranded. We cant thank you enough....
Negative experience: Wish I could give no stars Not friendly examiners even the mood at the test centre is miserable which instantly puts you on edge Examiner I had went out of his way to make my test as awkward as possible then at the end of the test was rude on how he explained my faults mocking me about it. wouldn’t go here again even if it was the only place to get a test really knocked my confidence as I don’t agree with some of the faults I was given I think it all depends on the mood the examiner is in
Fantastic experience: Great experience at Norwich Jupiter Road Driving Test Center! The staff was professional and friendly, and the testing process was well-organized and efficient. I highly recommend this centre for anyone looking to take their driving test.
Fantastic experience: I took my practical test some months ago, at Jupiter Road, in a city that I had never driven in, apart from the day before. I had a great examiner, who put me at ease. I'm happy to say that I passed. I do recall we chatted away as though we had known each other for a while when in fact I had never met him before and probably won't see him again. My full license reached my house before I did. Very impressive service.
Fantastic experience: No shame in mentioning that I have driving test 2 times here in Norwich Jupiter Road driving centre and both the times I have a serious fault and examiner clearly stated what was the mistake and this helps me to focus better to avoid those serious faults. Special thanks to Zak and John who were the examiners who helped me to realise with my serious fault in both the driving tests. I'm all set for 3rd time test in the same test centre with the confidence that I will clear this time.
