Negative experience: Unfortunately learning with Crystal Driving School was a big mistake. Week after week I would have a lesson where we would just drive around in circles , no progress was made and I was made to feel like I would never pass my driving test. Driving instructor was incredibly rude and I felt uncomfortable in each lesson with the fear of being shouted at or put down. Driving instructor also put the window down and spat out of the window whilst driving through busy areas which was incredibly embarrassing. Unfortunately, a lot of money was wasted on an extraordinary amount of pointless lessons.After leaving this driving school and starting with a different one it made me realise just how negative my experience was and I passed my test with half the amount of lessons I had been scammed with by Crystal Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I had a horrible experience with my previous instructor. I had my international driving license with 30 years of experience in driving but he ruined my self-confidence. I just needed to get ready for the exam and that is what Bally has done for me perfectly. He helped me to take back my self-confidence and learn the necessary techniques for the test.

Negative experience: Had so many lessons with this guy. He is incompetent. In the end I had to change my driving instructor who actually taught me how to drive. I felt so much more confident going into my driving test and passed!

The instructor was exceptional at listening to what I needed to progress, as well as explaining how I should alter my driving habits without being discouraging. Fantastic experience: Thanks to Bally’s patience and teaching skills, I was able to gain confidence in my driving abilities and pass the test. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to take up driving, especially if, like me, you are scared of it. He helped me feel at ease and take it one step at a time, he was very relaxed but at the same time very focused on each lesson. The lessons cover a lot of routes, so you can familiarise yourself with the roads before the test. Bally is a great instructor and will focus on teaching you driving as a skill, not just how to pass the test.

Negative experience: Do not want to be writing this review as I don’t not like to complain but please take this as a warning when it comes to driving with “Bally”. Overall I had about 6-7 hours with the instructor, he was not friendly neither did he make me feel at ease with driving. He would simply wait in the passenger seat when picking up and tell me to move off… Not even a hello, that is not a friendly person. He would say I was getting no where with my driving and that I’m bad instead of encouraging me. I was forced to wear a mask whilst the instructor didn’t so this affected my focusing on the road even more as I suffer with asthma. He would turn up in a different car each time so I was getting used to two cars, which is proven not to be good for learners. Answering texts and phone calls during lessons and angry if I can’t get certain time off that suits him. Really cannot recommend this company.

Negative experience: I had over 40 lessons with Bally. I had lessons previously, he assessing I’m 40%. Now I’m 50%. There was extremely low progress. He wouldn’t take the time to explain anything. I mean ANITHING! All he would say, is to put the blame on learner. He is highly rude and he gets annoyed if you dare to ask or say anything to the point to nearly shouting. But he would chat and ask questions about your personal life, only to distract you. I had over 15 lessons driving around Aylesford School, 5 to 10 miles an hour speed. I had to say that I hate the place and I have to practice some speed. He came to a lesson having a cold, mentioning that he went to A&E with chest infection, but he is wearing a mask. A week later, I ended in A&E with chest infection, so I had to cancel my lesson, twice. I gave him 12 hour notice as I hoped he understands (I was booked quite early, 6. 30, because beforehand I spent time in traffic - waisting money) but his replying was rude, as expected. He often smells of garlic! He burps that garlic whilst you drive. He opened the window to spit. I found him rude and gross and money greed! I had all the lessons with him as there were short availability or others don’t operate on a single lesson.

Negative experience: Sent an email querying about lessons but instead of receiving more information, I got the rudest one line response. On their website they list Coventry as one of their areas, but I'd noticed their learner cars operating in Kenilworth, so in my email I stated I live in Coventry but that I often visit Kenilworth so they knew I was flexible about where I could take the lessons. In their one line response they simply said, 'Do not cover Coventry'. Zero politeness. Apparently if you don't sound like their perfect student they discard their professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Bally! The best instructor in Warwick area. He made me feel very comfortable and assured. I was not a very confident driver but he helped me pass my test! If you are looking for good instructor, go to him! Thanks for your assistance, Bally!

Fantastic experience: Bally is a great teacher - knows in details everything that will be in the test - routes, what's going to be asked, what's need doing etc. Highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly recommend Crystal Driving School - Bally was a kind, patient teacher who recognised my initial nerves and worked hard to build up my confidence and ensure I felt safe and in control on the roads. I always felt that I got the most out of the lessons, with as much driving time as possible. As well as teaching me how to drive, Bally also shared lots of knowledge about cars and driving theory, which helped me a lot along the way. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Very flexible hours with two small kids my instructor tried to offer me classes whenever possible . Easy understanding of road signs and markings . Recorded all the test routes so that I could be able to practice more .

Fantastic experience: I was able to pass the driving test in my first attempt with only 1 minor fault. Thank you Mr Bally for all your help. I was able to drive on all test routes but in addition his lessons gave me the confidence to drive on any road. I was initially struggling to find an instructor for automatic lessons. MrBally was able to accommodate me somehow.

Fantastic experience: I took refresher lessons from Bally this August and I must say he is like your long lost uncle. He is very friendly yet very professional, making you feel very comfortable on the road. He doesn’t immediately put you in the deep end like some instructors might do, so you can build up your skills and confidence at your own pace. After building up your skills, he’ll take you to many different areas to help you become a more versatile driver, ready for any road situation. He is also very flexible with time, even able to fit you in early morning lessons if you have work or need motorway training. Overall, I highly recommend him.

Negative experience: The instructor Bally is very rude, he shouts and has no patience. I don't understand how on earth he got good reviews. How can you learn when your instructor shouts loudly and acts bizarre.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test in first attempt at Warwick test centre and I can’t thank Bally enough. He is very professional, patient and makes sure that you are not training with him just to pass the test but to be a better driver on the roads. He was very considerate and accommodated to have classes very early in the morning. There was a lot of practice done around test routes and manoeuvres. Suffice to say you learn to become a safe and confident driver when you train with Bally. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: The experience of lessons is excellent. I had taken lesson on automatic just to feel how automatic will behave as all along my life I was driving manual. Instructor explains nicely the difference and then every thing is fine

Positive experience: I learnt driving with Bally Sir, i started learning in June/July 2018 for automatic driving lessons once a week. Although late; I have passed the practical test on first attempt in Apr 2019. He makes sure you are 200% prepared to pass the test and takes driving safe seriously. Would recommend him.

Negative experience: Txt them to ask if they'd teach me automatic, they said yes. Asked if they'd cover my area (7 miles away) they didn't even txt me back.

Fantastic experience: Started my lessons in early December with nick. When I started I explained that I needed my license quickly. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, nick was great putting me at ease with the car and getting me to focus on the areas that needed work. In fact of most of the time it felt like I was just going for a drive with friend. I never thought I would get my license before starting however two months later I passed my test. I can not reccomend this driving school enough, especially if you suffer with nerves. THANK YOU
