Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test at Warwick today my brother and sister passed with bal. I strongly recommend him to anyone. He shows you the test routes. Is very straight forward and honest. Could not fault at all. If you want to pass quickly they can sort you a test out very quickly.

Fantastic experience: Needed to past test quickly and got straight in for an assessment, followed by 3 back to back days of lessons and a few days later I had passed my test with zero faults. Tough but fair. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: They gave me 4 day intense training. Special mention to Pal my instructor who shown me all the driving routes, shown and corrected me all my faults. He is very helpful and experienced. I passed with just only two minor faults. I strongly recommend to other people if you want to pass your driving test.

Fantastic experience: Started driving lessons 3 years ago, and was off and on for a while. Just passed my test after taking two lessons a week for 5 months. Bal was helpful in getting a test and had good availability. He is a great instructor, provided that you are receptive to feedback and patient. Thanks Bal!

Negative experience: I recently undertook an intensive driving course with Bal, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I paid about £1500 for what was supposed to be a focused and efficient 5-day program, but the reality was quite different. 1. Lack of Professionalism: During the first lesson, I was taken aback when Bal diverted our lesson time to drive to a coffee shop, where he expected me to buy him coffee. This was not only unprofessional but also a waste of my paid lesson time. Additionally, he pressured me into signing a non-refundable contract during the lesson, leaving me with limited options to address my concerns. 2. Inappropriate Behavior: Throughout the course, Bal exhibited unprofessional behavior by constantly interrupting lessons with personal phone calls, often discussing unrelated topics such as football. This not only wasted my time but also gave the impression that my paid lessons were secondary to his personal matters. 3. Ego-Centric Teaching Approach: Bal consistently demonstrated a self-centered teaching style, criticizing my previous habits without providing constructive guidance. Questions posed to me were met with accusations of defensiveness, creating an uncomfortable learning environment. The focus seemed to be more on his ego than on effective instruction. 4. Time Wasted with "Bucketing" Technique: The frequent use of the "bucketing" technique, where he combined lessons with other students, left me feeling short-changed. Valuable lesson time was spent picking up and dropping off other students, undermining the purpose of the intensive course. 5. Lack of Learning Impact: After the disappointing experience with Bal, I sought the guidance of a different instructor. Under the new instructor's competent guidance, I successfully passed my driving test on the first attempt with zero minor faults. This further emphasizes the inadequacy of Bal's teaching methods, as I gained little to no valuable insights during his lessons. In summary, my experience with Bal was disappointing and left me feeling scammed. I would caution others to carefully consider their options before choosing this instructor for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: I started my driving lessons with Bal done two course I suffered with anxiety which he made me overcome and start believing I could drive. I could honestly say if I can drive he can get anyone through the test as long as you listen. Whereas previously I had lessons where I feel that I didn’t believe myself and he kept working with me. Also I’m pleased that he got me a quick test and past first time and I want to thank him and strongly recommend him as long as you listen.

Fantastic experience: started my driving course with a test at the end of it which i’m grateful for, it was difficult to accept criticism first of all due to bad habits from my previous instructor which i felt wasn’t picked up until i came to bal. he told me to improve using his methods to pass my test, which i ended up doing. i definitely recommend if you want to pass your test to listen and improve to the methods you are taught. i strongly recommend to other pupils.

Fantastic experience: I started my driving lessons 2-3 weeks ago, I had my assessment first where I was told what I did wrong which didn’t happen with my previous driving instructor. These faults included going too fast and not giving myself time to make decisions. I was told that I need to change my methods because I need to adapt to the road conditions and other skills which were explained to me. They were explained to me very clearly and I was able to adapt to the methods which I found easy to follow and improve my skills. I was shown all the test routes. Bal got me a test quickly and I’m happy to say that I passed first time with 4 minors. I strongly recommend Bal to others if you want to pass quickly

Negative experience: Big scammer stay away!! He uses your time to do his personal stuff like going to the barbers.. constantly on the phone to his family and running other businesses while you’re driving. Tells you you’re not ready just to keep you longer. Charges you extra 75 to book a test. Bal is a big scammer and most of the reviews you see here are fake.

Fantastic experience: I previously failed with my last driving instructor. I found a one week driving school specialist through website and reviews. I found Bal’s methods worked perfectly for me; he was tough but friendly whereas my previous driving instructor did not pick up the faults. Bal showed me all the test routes and made me believe i could do it. He also got me a quick test so that i passed before i went back to uni. I highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I started my course with Bal, I am very happy to pass 3 minors. I want to thank him for all the support and getting me through the test. If you do what he tells you it is not difficult to pass, the hardest thing is accepting your faults. He quickly got my a driving test, otherwise I would have had to wait 6 months. Negative experience: Writing on behalf of a friend, as they are such a lovely person, and scared to speak up. Bal made my friend so uncomfortable, wasted her money. I'm reading the other positive reviews and they are definitely fake, the first week he asked my friend to write a "good" review for him. And she did it because she really needed a driving instructor but not knowing he is a driving instructor to avoid! The amount of breaks he takes during your lessons and these breaks are not like 5 or 10mins, he will sometimes make you drive to his house and he will go and chill, she didn't learn anything from him as he is always on his phone. She literally taught herself, watching YouTube videos, Bal cancelled her test and didn’t even tell her she was getting ready to go and do her test and if she didn’t call him she would of never knew. She booked her own test and used a family car and passed first time :).

Negative experience: He makes you write a good review for him during your lessons, literally the first day he meets you, he will tell you to write a good review because he knows the other lessons you will have with him will not be nice. Bal is a driving instructor to avoid. He will waste your time and money! The way he speaks about his other students is very uncomfortable, he makes you pay for his coffee, always on his phone during your lessons then has the audacity to shout at you when go the wrong way when he is not paying attention to you at all! He takes many breaks on your lessons and runs errands during your lesson that you have paid for. Avoid avoid him at all cost, the other good reviews are very fake! He has probably wrote them himself or like I said he will make you write a review the first week of your driving lessons with him.

Fantastic experience: Started my driving course with Bal after I struggled to find instructors in my local area. It was tough at first as he is very honest but his honesty is helpful and keeps you safe on the road. I found his teaching very helpful and got me to learn the road quicker than expected. He also was able to get me a tests on short notice, something that is not common these days. I passed the second time with 4 minor faults and I’m very happy with the outcome. Thank you!

Negative experience: He is not professional instructor and he is VERY RUDE person. He is FORCING you to leave positive comments, if you don’t. He gets angry and starting shouting at you and finding your faults and gets angry. He said he has special system to book driving test earlier than any other people and he took my money to re-schedule driving test. He did not book it and never paid back my money. Afterwards, he said you need more driving lessons and you can not pass it. I stopped taking lessons from him and following week I got different instructor and passed my test. In addition, he is always on the phone his family problems and his limousine business. Do not waste your time this rude & arrogant man.

Fantastic experience: I had 12 years of experience in India. Over the period picked up some bad habits, which he observed in first two minutes of my mock test. :) Then he gave me one week driving lesson and corrected those minors and also made me aware of traffic rules and regulations in UK. I was struggling to get an appointment for driving test but Bal booked it for me within the week as soon as he thought I am ready. I recommend him for driving lessons. Negative experience: do not be fooled by star rating, possibly bought as they all are perfectly and long typed. briefly, this is overpriced rip off. Instructor is rude also tries to take advantage of your urgency and acts like he is quick while actually wasting time and adding lessons. do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Good instructor, identifies shortcomings and gives proper direction. Ensures you are a good driver. Bal helped me identify mistakes that I was doing while driving and made me overcome them through practice. He also helped me to find an early slot for my practical driving test. Fantastic experience: I started to learn with Bal, when I joined him he told me my driving wasn’t good. Which wasn’t good to hear because previously my instructor told me I was test standard but after few lessons I had to accept his teaching methods which made me realise how far I was on test standards. He was hard on me but very fair. I had to accept his methods and finally adapt it. Which resulted me passing my test at Warwick. When the waiting list was months away he found me a test as soon as I was ready. If you want to pass your test, I strongly recommend him. Excellent service

Negative experience: Worst driving instructor ever. Uses your time for other things like coffee breaks, phone calls to his family, swears, uses his phone whilst driving, very rude and doesn’t actually teach you anything. I’ve learnt more in 9 lessons than I did with my lessons with him.. and was meant to be an intensive course. He slaits other clients off and tells you to drive 20mph on a slow road. I’ve had another instructor and already doing my manaovers and he told me I’m a great driver. Don’t go with Bal and waste your money.

Fantastic experience: I started with 80 pervious lessons, found bal online after being fobbed off by other ‘intense company’s’. Being pregnant we needed to get me passed and bal stuck to his promise, he got us in did an assessment and I felt comfortable straight away. I did the course for a week and 2 days, bal helped me iron out my faults with my driving, he slowed me down made me road safe and confidant! He helped ease my anxiety, listened to me when I had my ‘moments’ of frustration he helped and together I passed!

Fantastic experience: Just done my driving with Bal, was very professional very true with advise and feedback. Knows what to work on. If you can not listen to the truth when it hurts don’t bother. Bal will get you passed fast and efficiently if you listen. Bal can get tests fast. He got me 3 tests in the space of 6 weeks.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test with Bal, His method Very good. In order to help you to improve your driving as well as passing. I strongly recommend that if you learn with him, you must accept his method and accept your faults if you wish to pass. Otherwise, you will fail your test, which I did first time, but I realised it’s was for my benefit . Also, how quickly he got the driving test when it was impossible to find cancellations so all credibility to him doing this for us because it was an urgent situation He’s tough but fair I strongly recommend if you wanna pass your test to go with one week driving specialist.

Fantastic experience: After failing my first driving test, I struggled to book another test myself due to the large backlog. I found One Week Driving Specialists and booked a 1-week intensive course with a test at the end. Bal was very quick to pick up on the bad habits I had picked up from my previous instructor, and he tried his very best to help me correct them. Unfortunately for me I couldn't correct them in time for the test, Bal helped me find a solution that was right for me by letting me practice for a couple more weeks in my own time booked the test for me to take with my own car. I passed that test, and despite not being ready the first time, every aspect of driving that Bal taught me during that week stayed with me and has still stayed into my independent driving. I very much appreciate the effort he put into my learning and ensuring I become a safe and confident driver.

Fantastic experience: Today I successfully passed my Practical Driving test, first time. I owe this success to the diligent and supportive driving instruction I received from Bal. I have had many, many years of driving experiences outside of the U.K.; but, learning to drive in the U.K. requires both a concentrated personal focus to learn the necessary driving skills and the ability to adapt to U.K. driving standard requirements. Also, one must have the ability to accept well-meaning constructive critiques of ones driving skills by an experienced & professional driving instructor in order to assure your success in mastering the driving lessons provided. Bal patiently provided what was required to break my driving habits acquired in other countries and replace them with the driving skills necessary to become a confident and safe U.K. driver. Fantastic experience: Absolute legend starting my starting my driving course with Bal showed me the proper way of driving I was disappointed first because the fault I was making which I was told previously was fine. I have failed 3 tests previously and was always told by my instructors I was ready for a test but I never felt prepared and kept failing which ruined my confidence. I came to Bal who told me I needed to start back at the basics and he really helped to build my confidence up ! He will work with you to find out where your knowledge gaps are / what keeps letting you down in your driving and he will get you a quick test IF you work hard, listen well and put in to practice everything Bal has taught you!

Positive experience: Mistakes made very clear which is helpful when it comes to correcting them as soon as possible. Negative experience: Spoke to a gentleman who was very rude. Simply asked how quickly can they get tests ( as I was tested pre covid) and told me "do i have to answer that question" I only asked as all other intense courses I have spoken to are unable to get tests for a few months like myself trying to get one directly so my only option is paying for short course . Negative experience: Quite racist the person , I have tried to get some practical lessons from him to prepare for the exam , to understand better on what things to be focused more , and he started to explain me on the phone , that we people from East Europe , can’t drive and 10 lessons are not enough, how to judge me without to be familiar with my situation, I already driving 6 years in Uk , just want to change my international driving license in one , absolutely not professional and discourteous.

Fantastic experience: I started my course with Bal on Monday, had some previous lessons before. I was very nervouse and I have some learning difficulties. Bal showed me simpler and easier methods, and made me feel comfortabel in asking questions. Times where I was feeling nervouse Bal put me at ease and made me feel confident in my abilities. Will recomend to anyone learning especially those who need a different approuch. And guess what I PASSED ON THE FRIDAY! Regarding the test date he surprised witha friday slot. Fantastic experience: Made the impossible possible!!! I have always struggled with my driving and always very anxious until I came to one week driving. With a lot of patience and excellent teaching methods I was always given the right advice tailored to me and my driving ability. Upon Bals advice I delayed my test due to not being ready and then with the right guidance and teaching I passed first time with only 7 minors. Bal will always find a test for those that are ready - the key is to trust the expert.

Negative experience: I found mr. Uppal a waist of time and money. My progress with him was slow and unsatisfactory. He showed little interest in teaching and more on his own personal issues and businesses. Fantastic experience: Effective Instructor. I drove for many year in my country and after arriving to UK needed to adapt myself to the driving rules of this country. I started my lessons with Bal and he helped me to pass my test at my first attempt. I think I took maybe 8 or 9 lessons. Well, this lessons are strict, hard, sometime your energy will be dragged but the lessons were effective. You have to decide what you want at the end of the road. In my case, it was pass the test., and I did. No easy lessons but you will pass. Just pay attention, listen the advices and be prepare. I will recommend Bal to pass the test.

Fantastic experience: I needed to get my UK license in a short time, I contacted One Week Driving Specialist, we arranged an assessment on Saturday, developed a plan and I passed my test on Monday afternoon. The instructor is to the point, no nonsense and tells it like it is, he gets the job done!! I would recommend One Week Driving Specialist to anyone, especially anyone that is serious and determined to get their driving license.

I used to get upset first being told what I'm doing wrong but when explain to me me the fault that I did my driving from my previous driving instructor who gave me a false hope of Passing my test. I would like to thank well for all his efforts show me the right way if it wasn't for his methods I will not be passing my test with only for minor faults today I strongly recommend him to anybody who wants to learn to drive but must listen to what it tells you to do,

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have started driving with Pal about two weeks ago. He has a lot of experience, knows what he is doing. He is polite, just and gave me the exact instructions I need to pass my test at first. Only two minor faults. I strongly recommend Pal want to pass your test.

Positive experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bal is a good driving instructor. Does not sugar coat things but gets the job done. Really teaching me the UK style of driving to pass my drive by test. He was able to pull up my theory test forward which was awesome!! Def recommend.

Negative experience: Awful. On his phone talking to family rather then focusing on myself. Asked a few questions and he mumbled and didn't look up from his phone. Absolutely useless. Avoid at all costs. Bal is a waste of time and useless. No care, attention or effort. Avoid

Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have started with them 3 weeks back. Passed with 3 minor faults on my 1st attempt with Oneweekdriving. Would definitely recommend Oneweekdriving.

Negative experience: SCAMMER!!! IGNORE the good reviews on any social media bc they are FORCED to be written by Bal DURING the lesson(I was only on my second lesson but I refused to write one which made me lose more time bc he was unhappy)!! £30 for only 45 mins and he NEVER fully used the 45 mins but always using MY lesson time to buy coffee, to pick up/drop off other pupils, etc. Believe me, he will always find a reason to waste your lesson time. And he always picked on other pupils behind their back. Sorry I just can’t find any good in this person. Never thought for us but only wanted the money. Everything will get back to you for what you did Bal. Avoid this scammer for your own sake.

Fantastic experience: Started my driving lessons 2 weeks ago. Really enjoy my lessons, relaxed and enjoyable. My preview instructor didn’t give me a directed approach whereas Bal does really helps me progress fast aswell

Bal was able to pick up the faults in my driving during the first drive itself and has been very patient with teaching me how to avoid doing the same mistakes. Fantastic experience: Started my course with Bal 2 weeks ago. Like the no nonsense driving instruction, which is what's needed to pass in short time. Fantastic experience: Before I started lessons my confidence had been severely knocked. I had been given over 80 lessons in a manual and never got at far as parking! Within 5 lessons with Bal I was reversing, parking and even using the ringroad! Bal is direct in his approach which I appreciate as it is clear to me what I need to do to improve quickly.
