Fantastic experience: Experience, flexibility, professionalism, patience and hard work - these are the words that come to my mind in regards to Mr. Bassi. He is a great instructor, his teaching methods are amazing and simple; parking seems like the easiest manoeuvre (even the parallel parking). I was stressed before the exam, but due to his guidance, I was able to pass my exam from the first attempt!

Negative experience: I would recommend everyone stay clear of Palwinder Bassi. He will keep delaying you by not allowing you to book regular lessons (to squeeze as much money as he can out of you) and then when it comes to your test he will not take you and force to move it to another date - which is currently 3 or 4 months in advance, making you take even more lessons. He will lie to you and end lessons before the hour is up (and will be late most of the time and still start the hour from the time he was meant to be there). Overall terrible experience from a failure of an instruct To your first point: by not allowing students to take regular lessons, they become out of practice and make little progression. As a result, they require more lessons meaning they pay more money. Simple concept really... To your second point: I booked 5 lessons 4 months in advance and when the time came to take the lessons Palwinder was apparently 'too busy''. So booking regular lessons months in advance is clearly meaningless and not an option for someone so apparently busy. To your third point: even if that's the case, if you had over 2 years of driving with a student (which you did) and you still couldn't get them ready for a test in that time, I think that says it all about your ability as a driving instructor. Finally: (ignoring the obvious grammatical mistakes from the response of a 'professional' driving school) even if the long waiting times are not your fault, that doesn't mean you can't capitalise on the situation by not taking students for tests, forcing them to take more lessons up until their next test, making you even more money at the expense of students. Additionally, notice how there is no response to the mention of ending lessons before the hour is up. Stay clear and get and a proper instructor who won't just trap you for your money...

Fantastic experience: Mr Bassi would book me in for lessons on bank holidays, Sunday nights and whenever I needed in order to get me ready for my driving test, leading me to pass first time. Fantastic service

Fantastic experience: Mr. Bassi is a top instructor and is really helpful and able to support you as a learner in all aspects of driving. His friendliness and attitude in helping and getting learners to understand best practices when dridiving is second to none. He's also very patient and calm which is good if you're a nervous driver or brand new to driving! If you want to pass your practical driving test, this is the man who's gonna make get you your pass. Mr. Bassi also has a great sense of humour (Passed with only 4 lessons!)

Positive experience: Hi, I’ve been learning with Mr.Bassi and I passed my test! Although I was making errors he was calm and corrected the point making me learn from my mistakes!. You will get quality training and become a good driver sooner than you expect. He will take all test routes but in addition his lessons gave confidence to drive on any road.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Platinum Driving School. My lessons were instructed by Mr Bassi, whom I found to be very warm and patient with a friendly teaching style. As a mature learner who tried and failed to pass my test previously, I had put off re-attempting for a number of years but Mr Bassi quickly put me at ease. Over the course of our sessions I found Platinum Driving School highly professional with many years of experience in all manner of road safety. I booked a Silver Package of 10hrs initially and felt confident after only a few sessions to book my test. My lessons were also taught in a new VW GOLF, which I felt made learning to drive again both an enjoyable and smooth experience. Fantastic experience: After a long search 2 instructors, 26 lessons , been shouted at and in the 26 lessons no maneuvers taught. Then I found Mr Bassey- he was the type of instructor I have been praying to find. He is calm, paid attention to details and points out when you are wrong without shouting at you and calmly corrects you. He is very professional and I am greatful. I am hoping to pass my test first time. I forgot to mention how ready to help he is, my schedule is very tight but he fixed me up. I will let you all know how it goes soon with my test, but he definitely brought my confidence back.

Negative experience: Had a lesson booked in last monday, but was given an excuse hours before, re booked the same lesson for sunday, he gave another excuse at 23:00pm very little notice. Terrible service given the price of the lessons. Very poor commitment i'll be going elsewhere and advise others to do so, so they are not messed around like i was. shocking.

Fantastic experience: After having a bad experience with another instructor, I messaged platinum to help me out. He was so amazing, taught me everything I needed to know and more, was very flexible with my hours as I needed childcare, and was just amazing at teaching me as I know I can be difficult. I passed first time with 3 minors in August 2021 and am so happy. Would highly recommend and I will sing his praises, as without him I wouldn't of passed. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: Not recommended. He is not a reliable person. He booked me in 08:00 am Saturday and always cancelled classes in the last minute. I purchased 25 lessons and paid the money upfront. I asked him to refund the money I paid as I was not able to take lessons regularly and learn anything at all ! Edit: If requested I can provide my order confirmation from Jan 10th, 2018 for a Platinum Package of 25 hours as a response to the business owner. Apart from all advised above, Mr. Bassi is apparently not being honest, claiming I did not take lessons from him.

Fantastic experience: Really good driving school, teacher was very flexible with hours and always available. I only had about a month worth of lessons and still managed to pass. We were able to get lots of important techniques down and the lessons were really great value for money. Absolutely recommend!

Negative experience: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE DONT CHOOSE THIS DRIVING COURSE. He cancelled the session at 2 am just the night before my exam with this test with this text. “ I'm not going to getting you fot driving text tomorrow because your not ready ” Apparently he does this quite often as there are similar reviews here of the sort. Oh and Platinium Driving School seems to be a company that one person owns and run the courses. I paid for 5 lessons and only got 4. My fees to the exam (62£) got wasted. TOTAL SCAM.

Negative experience: Totally unreliable, didn't turn up, when he did was late and shortened my daughter's sessions. No structure to the lessons. She has learnt more in one lesson with a different instructor than in 6 with him.

Negative experience: Barely booked lessons and when he did cancelled them at the last minute. He gave me some lessons but never explained anything properly. Always late! Fìrst time when i had my test,i told him about the date,he said ok and then told me a few days before that he cant take me because he has somebody elses lesson and the second time he messaged me a night before my lesson sayin that he doesnt want to take me because he thinks i am not prepared. I did not get a refund back for my test and lost my job because i couldnt get a day off before so i had to leave my job because i couldnt get a day off. Do not waste your time on Mr. BASSI. Had got advice from lots of people but mistaked by not listening. Dont make the same mistake!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic instructor! Only starting learning at the beginning of July and passed first time in the middle of October, with a lesson every week or so. Highly recommend as Mr Bassi has a very different teaching style to other driving schools/instructors as he keeps everything relaxed with friendly conversations whilst teaching you thoroughly, all topics were kept clear and concise. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is starting to learn how to drive.

Positive experience: I started with platinum driving school earlier in the year after moving from a previous instructor. I was a nervous driver but after some lessons and proper coaching, I built up more confidence on the road. During the lessons I was taught correct techniques which allowed me to pass 1st time. I would recommend highly to anyone.

Negative experience: I paid for lessons in July and was unable to get any time until October. They were not responsive to emails and it took me asking for my money back before they would respond to emails. They also would not provide me with forward visibility of their calendar to see what times they had available. In the end, because I was unable to make a time we were finally able to get in the diary, they refused to give my money back. Therefore, it is now approaching November and I have not had a lesson that I paid for in July. STAY AWAY!!!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Platinum Driving School to anyone looking to pass the driver's test in the Leamington area. Palwinder was very thorough in his lessons and gave invaluable tips that helped me pass my exam in Warwick. He is extremely familiar with the area and many of the routes we covered in tuition were featured on the actual test.

Positive experience: Helped me upgrade from automatic license to manual after 10 years driving, so mainly had to undo 10 years of bad driving habits and being rather quick... Passed quickly, can't fault the teaching at all. Not always on time (5 minutes late, once 10) but makes up for it.

Fantastic experience: Platinum Driving School is an excellent company with a very professional, flexible and fully qualified driving instructor. I never had problems with cancellations or booking classes. I passed my test after 15 hours of tuition with automatic car. My instructor was very supportive. We practised every section of the test ("Show me, Tell me questions", independent driving, reverse manoeuvres, etc.) and all basic skills needed to drive safely. Highly recommended if you want to pass your test!
