Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time with 4 minors after 5 months learning with DH driving school. Delwar is a fantastic instructor, calm and patient and always smiling. Delwar has fully explained everything to me, when I have made errors he has told me why and made me understand what to do differently next time. I would 100% recommend DH Automatic driving school to anyone wanting to learn, especially when you feel nervous!

Negative experience: It all started well, the first two lessons were great. I have been told from the beginning that if I cancel last minute I will be charged some fees which is fair, but nothing is said about the instructor last minute cancellation. The instructor cancelled once 30 minutes before the lesson due to a loss in his family I didn’t say anything. The second time I messaged the instructor to tell him I was at the meeting point for him to tell me that he forgot that we had a lesson which is very unprofessional because I would have been charged if it was the other way round. After that I had to send him a reminder before each lesson. Second point , you want to be careful with their price. I saw on their website that a block of 10 hours was £380. So I contacted them , THEY told me that for 10 hours you get an hour free, which was fine so I picked the 10 hours and they ask for the payment of £380. For later (4 lessons later) say that the £380 is already a discount, and make me feel like I am the one who ask for a free hour on top of it. On my last lesson he came back with it and was like it is not supposed to be like that but I offering you the hour that I should normally charge you for. I didn’t say anything, I just said ok , and we didn’t even have the full hour we done 40 minutes drive but I was just glad it was over. After the 4th lesson (which was after the price discussion) i felt very anxious before every lesson, the instructor became so impatient, and unprofessional he could even shout sometimes, or be on his phone. I just regretted to have booked a block, I felt trapped, and couldn’t wait for the end of it with your company. Because if you want a refund of course you still have to pay some admission fees.

Negative experience: No patience and has made me upset so many times. I changed instructors and test centre and I passed first time with only 3 minors. It was only when I changed instructors I realised it wasn’t normal to be made to feel stupid and shouted at constantly. I was made to put a review maybe 2 lessons in and I felt like I had to because it was so hard to get an instructor. Now reflecting no instructor should tell you to write a false review after two lessons. Very unreliable, Delwer would warn you of the implications of cancellation fees but when he has cancelled so many lessons last min. I also read a review where he had threatened to go students school and report her to the police when he sent the pay info at midnight. I would get the hint it’s night time and most people sleep at night. I’m surprised the student has not reported him to the police. He came to her house unannounced absolutely unprofessional and scary!

Negative experience: Very disrespectful individual has no patience. No communication skills and does not know how to talk to a woman. Once hes used to you he will start to act disrespectful and rude ! No MANNERS AT ALL. You didnt talk firmly you said on 2 occastions to find another instructor your a waste of time and a waste money! My test changed because you had ask to change it, by degrading and saying your not ready!! Also you have cancelled and rearranged lessons on last minute, you let me bring kids to the lesson because you didnt want to loose out on money, if it wasnt allowed you didnt have to allow it! You are only there to make your pass rate high and only teach students who can give you that if someone is not performing you tell them to find another instructor! Sort yourself out mate Your rude end off!

Negative experience: Started off fine however after my last lesson ( finishing at 430pm) he did not send the payment request until midnight while I was sleeping. I woke up to many messages from him threatening to go to the police and even my workplace (I am a teacher). I paid him as soon as I woke up however he had already been to my home (luckily I was not home).He is aware I am a woman living alone with my kids I feel very uncomfortable that he would come to my home and threaten to come To my workplace. He also refuses to tell me when he came to my home. I feel as if it was a huge over reaction. I could not pay immediately as he messaged at mid night and I was sleeping. Very unprofessional, impatient and rude. If he shows up at my workplace or home again I will be contacting the police

Fantastic experience: Honestly my instructor was great, he brought me step by step through each manoeuvre in a calm manner, he even had post stick notes showing the steps each action, which was extremely useful. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn in Sheffield

Negative experience: Started off very friendly and I gave it five stars but then the instructor became very unprofessional. I didn’t rebook with him and had to switch to a different instructor. Very slow in teaching and takes breaks to do his own errands during lessons without adding on extra time at the end.

He refers to the official notes from DVSA when explaining lessons giving you a relevant visual example from the theory material.
