Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Yiannis enough as a driving instructor. Having had other instructors in the past, I can confidently say that Yiannis was by far the best. He was incredibly direct and honest in his feedback, which really helped me understand what I needed to improve. At the same time, he was always kind and patient, creating a calm and supportive learning environment. Thanks to Yiannis, I didn’t just feel happy to have passed my test — I felt 100% confident that I had the skills to be a safe and effective driver. His teaching style made all the difference, and I’m so grateful for his guidance.

Fantastic experience: Yiannis is a great driving instructor! He is very thorough during his classes, he doesn't miss any detail and makes sure that you understand everything when driving on the road. He will find all the possible ways of explaining a situation until you fully understand it! He prepares you to drive anywhere, not just to pass a test. He is also very accomodating, my schedule changed on a weekly basis and he always very kindly found a way for us to have a lesson. He adapts to your learning needs to make sure you become a confident driver - even when you've had previous terrible experiences with other instructors! I would definitely recommend Yiannis!

He took the time to explain the reasoning behind everything and made sure I knew not just how to pass my test, but how to drive confidently and safely after my test was passed, taking me from someone who was very anxious and stressed when driving to someone who enjoys it.

Fantastic experience: I found Yiannis in a time of desperation! With my girlfriend at her wits end helping me to practice through covids limitations, Yiannis came to the rescue, fitting me into his schedule with a really early slot! From the jump I knew he was the right guy to help me pass, as he took the time to understand my way of thinking, and tailored his tuition to suit me best - always explains the WHY and not just the WHAT. Fantastic experience: I found Yiannis to be a great instructor. After having a poor lesson with a well known large brand-name learner driver company I decided to look for another driving instructor – that’s when I came across Yiannis’ LDC website. From the start I clearly explained to Yiannis that I had no experience whatsoever in driving and he needed to start with the very basics. Also I began learning at 41yrs old, so I explained he would need to be patient. I had a 2hr lesson to see if he was suitable and I was pleasantly surprised. I discovered he has a passion for driving and has completed advanced driving courses to give him a good experience of car handling and traffic situations. Yiannis has a direct style in his communications which are clear and to the point. Throughout my tuition emphasis was placed on safety and car control at all times. I found it easy to get along with him and to be myself. I liked his sense of humour. I was never afraid of offending him and he was open to debating ideas and questions that I may have had during lessons. The LDC system might not be for everyone but I found it useful. I was encouraged to feel the car, rather than just remember rote mechanical operations in order to make the driving experience more intuitive. I had around 32 two-hour lessons with Yiannis and I can say he made me feel comfortable and safe at all times, whilst at the same time pushing me to expand my limits and learn at a pace that suited my ability. He was punctual for every lesson I had. I never had a last-minute cancelled lesson and nearly always Yiannis arrived early to pick me up for my lesson. His lesson planning was well organised, always texting me days before the lesson to confirm the time and date of the next lesson. His prices are fair and inline with the current average for the local area. Yiannis’ insights in to “what the examiner’s are looking for” in a test situation were very useful and highlighted his knowledge of the system and testing procedure. I passed on my second attempt with 2 minors - of which I’m grateful for his instruction. He also showed care by offered advice for me going-forward after I had passed my test and venturing in to driving by myself. If you’re looking for a driving instructor that provides no-nonsense direct talking with the aim of teaching you safe and precise car control then give Yiannis a try. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Yiannis is patient, kind and has a positive approach to teaching. I was a very nervous (and often, negative!) driver but successfully passed my test today. I really cannot recommend him enough, it has been such a pleasure and I will miss him!

Fantastic experience: Yiannis is an excellent driving instructor - he aims not only to help students pass their driving test but to become good and safe drivers for the rest of their lives. Isn't that what we all want, safe drivers on our roads? He achieves this by clear and considered explanations and he always has his white board and pen at the ready to draw diagrams to clearly demonstrate situations. He will explain things in different ways if necessary and will try different techniques in order to be sure that his student understands. His good sense of humour helps as does his what seems like limitless patience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Amazing lessons, passed first try today and the mock tests we did together were nearly identical to the real thing. Lessons were super helpful and specific to what I needed to focus on. Everything was explained well and I was also told why to do specific things as well as what to do. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've previously had a few driving instructors and Yiannis is the best instructor I've had that even moving to Surrey, I decided not to change instructor. Yiannis is an excellent teacher. He doesn't just prepare you to pass your driving test, but also prepare you on how to drive securely on your own after passing the test. He guided me on how to deal with Real Life driving situations that made taking my test feel less unnerving. In the beginning, I was very anxious about being on the road but Yiannis has helped me to learn how to manage my nerves and learned ways to calm down to better concentrate on driving. In the end, not only did I pass my Practical Driving Test, but I am also now more confident in driving.

Fantastic experience: Yiannis was my only instructor and I passed my test first time. I had lessons over 3.5 months, most of them just over the weekends due to work and also a break due to lockdown. He was most accommodating, always flexible and able to fit the lessons so that I could progress steadily to be ready for the test. Fantastic experience: A great and memorable experience all round - I passed first time with Yiannis as my only instructor. Yiannis is considered and intelligent; I sensed he adapted his approach to meet my learning style, with a keen focus of road safety, building my confidence, and getting the most out of each lesson in mind. I particularly enjoyed learning from the whiteboard examples, and he was quick to raise an issue and ensure I reflected on, understood, and corrected any errors. He was also flexible on lesson timing when it was needed. To add to all this, he's also a top guy and has a great sense of humour - I've a good memory of us grinning away when I passed. I've left his course a confident and safety-aware driver. Thanks for everything Yiannis!

Negative experience: Well, what can you say, let me down big time. Booked an intensive 20 course with LDC, I was given over to a the above named driving instructor. He didn't make any attempt to contact me. After a week, I phoned him. He said I was just about to call you etc etc. Anyway, he offered me a driving lesson for the he next day as he had had a cancellation. I asked would that be the start of my 20 hours intensive course. He said no. It would be a week by week lesson. Which isn't what I paid for. + No driving test booked at the end of it either. He said he was going to call his head office and call me straight back. Which he didn't!!!! His head office did though, said I had refused to take any lessons with him and was being uncooperative with him, which was not true. The head office staff however was brilliant, tried booking me with someone else. Unfortunately no one else was available. Well not till February. I asked for a full refund and it was given straight away. I Personally would avoid this joker. Would of been happy to have taken my money but not deliver the goods. Since passed my driving test with and independent instructor in under 12 hours of driving. Your lose, Merry Christmas.
