Negative experience: Very bad experience. I strongly suggest not to take him as instructor as he is a scam. I waited for him 1 months for the appointment. I took off from my office at the appointment day and even confirmed with him the schedule a day before but this guy just on the time of appointment called me and said he broke with car and not available. Once I call him I can hear he is driving still and giving lessons to someone else. He is a cheater and not keeping the promises. He is just a scam I am going to report him and I Strongly not recommending anyone to learn driving with him. Bloody scammers cheap person.

Negative experience: I was with Cedar Driving School a couple months back. I had approximately 10 Two Hour sessions (20hours total). I can only talk for how Abed taught Manual. At the time of starting the lessons I had a basic understanding and was comfortable to drive on most roads. After a while it became apparent that Abed method of teaching was to get you up to a standard which of his standard and not that of DVSA. Multiple times we would spend Two Hour Sessions going around the same Three roads practicing clutch. Initially this seemed helpful but after a lot of money and time it almost seemed that this was being used as a way to prolong out any any future Income for Abed. Multiple times whilst driving Abed around he would ask me to pull in on the side of the road and would take phone calls for up to 30 minutes. The phone calls were that of a ‘jokey’ nature. I had booked a Driving test for 2 months in advance in which I informed Abed, he stated that I would need a lot more lessons and we should up the hours per Week ( in which I did) Eventually a week before the test - Abed informed me that I am not ready for the test and I would fail, informed me that I should cancel it and book more lessons. After talking to family I decided ti go ahead with the test without Abed in which I PASSED the test first time and was informed y the driving examiner that I was a very safe and competent driver. I believe Abed has the ability to make his students believe they need more hours meaning more money and time. Abed will often give you very NEGATIVE feedback after a lesson which is not constructive and in order to gain financially.

Fantastic experience: I am an experienced driver (More than 12 years) from India and wanted to get license in UK. I spoke with the instructor well in advance and took a short lesson course (7 hours). The lessons were well structured and helpful in adjusting my driving style to UK driving road rules and regulations. I took the test for the first time today and got my license.

Negative experience: Terrible experience all-round. My instructor (Mr Hijazi) would get annoyed whenever I made mistakes, and was very impatient and grumpy despite me being an absolute beginner. Also, very unresponsive when it came to scheduling lessons. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Believe me when I say this is the best driving instructor around! I never thought I’d ever have it in my to pass first time round but with his help I passed first time. He taught me everything I needed to know and made sure I was aware of anything I needed to know. I want to mention we never had that many lessons yet he still managed to teach me every skill I needed. He truly is an amazing instructor! Thank you so much cedar school! I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Abed was a very good instructor. Due to a last minute change, he took me on as a student with only three weeks until my driving test. I was very nervous, but he encouraged me and used the time we had to go over mistakes that needed addressing. I ended up passing first time! He is a very good instructor and I'd definitely recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews, but I had to write one for Cedar school of Motoring. If I could give more than 5 stars, I most certainly would! Abed is a brilliant instructor; he ticks all the boxes: very friendly, highly knowledgeable, professional, motivating, patient, and punctual. He has excellent teaching methods and is always prepared to explain any faults made or  maneuvers using all sorts of aids (videos, drawings, books, and using boards and toy cars). Abed gave me all the motivation and skills needed not only to pass the test but to also feel comfortable and confident to drive on my own. My experience with Abed was outstanding, would highly recommend him to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I passed my test a few years ago, so this is very over due, but I just had to leave this review. I can not express how amazing Abed is. I truly never thought I would ever pass, I never thought I was good enough, with abed as my instructor I actually did it. I went from never driving a car, I was so scared and not confident at all. Abed believe in me and I didn't even think I was ready for the test, but he told me to do it and I passed. I would recommend this instructor and I do to everyone who is looking. Firstly he was always punctual which is brilliant, I only took lessons with him for 3 months and he taught me so much in comparison to my previous instructor. He was so kind and well prepared with books, diagrams and videos to help explain certain maneuvers etc. He is a skilled teacher. would definitely recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Passed my test on my 1st attempt! What can I say - firstly, Abed was very accommodating of the short turnaround I had before my test, he was professional yet personable, providing me with the skills, experience, good advice and confidence in driving. He was great at allowing me to fail and try again. Pre-test Abed even gave me a snack/brain food - nut mix, which was so kind (nerve-calming) and appreciated. My brother will be learning with him soon!

Negative experience: Abed didn’t pay any attention while my wife was learning to drive. She has only had 2 lessons with him and on the second occasion he was constantly on his phone and also shouting out the window to passerby who he knew. If I’m paying for someone to give me lessons I would expect to have their undivided attention. Will now be finding another more professional company to deal with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Negative experience: i contacted the instructor and told him where i am based. i live in hammersmith in witch the web site clearly states the areas of Acton shepherds bush and hammersmith and surrounding areas are covered. he then replied back to me telling me he does not do my area.

Fantastic experience: Since finding Abed I very quickly gained confidence in my driving, especially after a few bad experiences with a previous instructor, I never felt like I was progressing. Abed’s calm and very safe manner helped me to be at ease and ironed out all of my faults. Just after a few lessons I already felt I was progressing nicely. I passed my test second time with just 1 minor fault and couldn’t have done it without Abed’s awesome teaching. I highly recommend him! Thank you so much Abed! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Since I found Abed and his Cedar school of Motoring from Google, I post my review here. Before I found Abed, I was with another instructor for a year and unfortunately I had failed 4 times and had lost confidence with driving and driving test. I switched to Cedar in April 2016. I found Abed was able to quickly identify my weak points and gave very effective and easy-to-follow feedback for me to improve. After 10 hours practice I attended another test and passed. It is clear to me that Abed's instruction had played an essential role for me to pass. Based on my experience and comparison, I think Abed is an outstanding instructor, and I heartily recommend him.
