Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test and was very happy with the training and guidance I got through the time frame.I was a very nervous driver and was struggling to pass.My instructor was very patient and worked hard with me to get comfortable.He sat through my driving test to ensure he could observe my performance , overall very thankful.

Positive experience: I found this company via searching on Google. They got back to me very quickly and connected me to a local instructor, Bina, the same day I phoned. She managed to fit me in the following week. Bina is a wonderful lady. Friendly, calm, patient, and you can tell she wants you to have the best experience. Her teaching style is the best you could ask for. She is very professional and knowledgeable and understands how much to challenge you each lesson to make progress quickly rather than paying for endless lessons you don’t actually need. Having such a respectful and positive instructor that offers you regular, fairly priced lessons, arrives on time, doesn’t cancel and rearrange every other week takes so much stress away from learning to drive so I can’t thank Bina enough for her service. The reason I have taken off 2 stars is because I was disappointed that they pull the old “you have to pay extra for test day insurance” lie so close to the test that you don’t really have any choice but to pay it, as there’s no time to make alternative arrangements. I think this is a really low and manipulative hustle amongst driving instructors which I have absolutely no respect for. If you charge extra for test day simply because you want to, this should be clearly stated upfront without the false pretence of it being for “test day insurance.”

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH BARBER. I booked 10 hours with barber and he was good (i paid with company). after the 10 hours however, he started ignoring my messages. I still continued to message him for more hours because i got used to driving with him and had no problems. I managed to get 5 hours more (i paid him in cash). after my 15 hours were completed he told me i should message him when i get a test date. so i did as he said. i got an early test date and messaged him about it. its now 2 weeks before my test and he doesn't want to do my lessons with me because he has other clients in a different area and he can no longer do afternoons. He also says that i should have paid him in advance which i never did with the 5hours i did with him. WASTE OF TIME. On top of that he's very hard to understand and struggles to text. INCONVENIENT. However the company isn't bad and respond quick.

Fantastic experience: I had my lesson with Bina. Amazing instructor with lots of experience and good driving tips.... highly recommended. She is professional and friendly. No pressure. I had learnt lots in short time with her...passed with 3 minors :)

Negative experience: I paid £240 for 10 hrs and only received 6 hrs. Driving instructor Bhavna, would not show up for lessons and refused to give me my full 10 hours, saying she is now busy at Red Driving School. Called up Want Driving and they refused to issue me a refund. I will not stop telling everyone on social media about how terrible their customer service is!

Negative experience: DO NOT DO LESSONS WITH VINCENT!!! He is very unprofessional and does not respond to messages. His car has a very bad smell and if I wasn’t so eager to start driving I wouldn’t have continued the lesson. If Somehow you do have a lesson with him, WEAR YOUR MASK! And even double up if you have to. I would have left 0 stars if I could. I’m not bashing the Company because they are professional and found me a driver asap. Unfortunately VINCENT has let them down.

Fantastic experience: Hassan Said is an excellent driving instructor, I managed to pass first time at the Greenford Test Center at Horsenden Lane with only 25 hours of teaching. I deeply recommend and encourage any learner drivers to request for Hassan Said as an instructor in gain the right experience and confidence in passing your practical exam.

He eventually became more like a friend than a teacher and that made me feel comfortable driving and consequentially i learnt and performed better. I can become nervous if other people around me are nervous! But my instructor always maintained his cool and continued to motivate me even when i made silly mistakes, this impacted and influenced the course of my driving lessons and outcome of my test massively! Whenever I did something wrong he would always point it out and made sure I wouldn’t make It a habit. I really enjoyed every lesson. Fantastic experience: Amazing driving instructor. Made me feel so comfortable with driving even when I was very scared and panicking. Unlike other drivers who make you drive around back/quite roads, after the first lesson we was straight on to the main roads and making our way to where I was going to have my driving lesson which I found very helpful and figured out I was not wasting my money. I have my licence now and he still checks up on me and ensures I’m doing ok. I always recommend him to my friends and family and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend him as a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test 3 years ago and have just bought a car and i want to get on the road and have not driven since passing. This company is good and very flexible at working at times that suited me, they arranged a instructer for me named Vips, this guy is amazing his teaching skills are brilliant, his patient and made me pass first time round, i recommend all my friends and family to him as he is a great driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: As of bad health I stopped driving for aprox 1 year. After I had to get back on the road and was nervous not sure of how bad I may be. So I called this Want Driving Lessons and they helped me. The instructer was very good, patient and friendly. He helped me get my confidence back and I also did Motorway driving. The company is very good and I would happily recommend this company.

Negative experience: I wish I could give them 0 stars but I can’t. I paid a package of 10 lessons and I have 2 left but they won’t give me them. I cancelled a lesson 24 hours before, texting my instructor I won’t be able to attend and she did not see it (not my fault) and is only giving me an hour left when I have 2! She cancelled our first lesson without even telling me. I called her 5 minutes before it was meant to start asking where she is and she said “oh, I forgot to call but I’m sick” wasting my time and now she’s saying I wasted hers. I called multiple times and filed a complaint but the team doesn’t call me or even do anything. They just say it’s up to her. Don’t even bother with this company. It’s all a scam and the workers don’t even help you or anything. So rude

Negative experience: Terrible, terrible school. My partner had multiple lessons without an instructor turning up and was given a different excuse each time the operator bothered to answer the phone. All of the 5 star reviews on here are a scam - read for yourself and you'll see many people with the same experience as me. If I could give less than 1 stars I happily would. This company is a complete sham and has cost me a lot of time for no reason.

My partner booked 10hr lessons with them and paid in full he didn’t get any lesson till about 3 weeks he had to call constanatly and was given different reasons, one was because the person who covers the area was aparantly on holiday. We didn’t pay no mind but everytime we fall they say they wi give us a call back but they never do sometimes they avoid our call. They are a bunch of thieves I was pregnant at a time and I wasn’t feeling well so my partner had to cancel his lesson a day before and they took 2 hours of his lesson and say he had to pay for it and also they made soo much mistakes with his hours try to tell us that his finished his hours but only had one lesson... I would highly advice you to avoid this company would not recommend them to anyone

The driving instructor failed to turn up and two weeks later I've still not had my 1st lesson or had any contact from them explaining why I've yet to receive the service I payed for. This is not a real company and all of their good reviews are in house people who have never had a driving lesson so please don't believe the good reviews. Plus they claim they don't offer refunds even though I've yet to receive a lesson after paying £200 for 10 hours worth. I'm taking this company DOWN as we speak. Soon no more innocent people will be getting ripped off. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMANY!!!

Fantastic experience: Vips is a very good instructor. He helped me a lot to come out of my weaknesses and I passed today at Hendon centre with Vips' help. Thank you to Vips Had instructor from Blueway and ripped me off and didn't teach me basics with over 60 lessons with Blueway. However, Vips is the best person to learn from.

Negative experience: I paid 20 lessons in one go and used up 8 lessons as I had to stop for a while. After coming back from holidays, i rang their office if I could carry on with my driving. The guy who answers the phone advised me to reach out with my Driving Instructor, Manjula to fix the issue. I kept ringing my instructor but to no avail and their office can not help at all. This is a so-called company but they want me to personally sort out with their driver. After several calls of trying to fix the issue, at least to get 50% refund if they dont want me to continue with the lesson, I can see they will not take any action at all. I told the office guy that I will leave an honest review about my experience and he said it's okay so obviously Want Driving School does not care about their reputation. WANT DRIVING SCHOOL is not recommended!

Fantastic experience: To the Glory of God, I passed first time with Bina as my driving instructor. She is very good, kind, respect her students and was never late for her lessons. She has a peculiar way of making her lessons stand out. She makes her lessons very easy for everyone to understand no matter your condition and status. If her student keep making the same mistake every day, she never get upset but keeps calling it out for you to become more aware of it, by so doing it registers in your mind and in no time you correct yourself, become confident and drive safely on the road. Infact she is a must have instructor, with Bina you wouldn't go wrong. Guys you just come taste and testify for yourselves. She is so so amazing. Thank you very much Bina.

Negative experience: I told them I wanted 20 lessons over 4 days with a particular time on each day and too do my test on the fifth which they agreed too and told me to book my test first then call back. I called them back 20 minutes later after paying for my test and they claim that the original price quoted is not available because the only driver who is free on those days will charge £40 more. I had already paid for my test so I bit the bullet and paid for the lessons. The instructor messaged me two days later to rearrange the times on 3/4 days I had booked. I requested a refund and was told the lessons are non refundable, despite never receiving a lesson from them and them not being able to fulfill their contract with me. Lucky I have paid with a credit card. Stay well clear of this company, they are cowboys and will rip you off.

Negative experience: 1st lesson that I had the driver was constantly grabbing the wheel. 2nd lesson he never turned up due to a cancellation that I did not request. My lesson was then rearranged and the driver turned up 35minutes late and when I went to look out my window the driver was no where to be found. I had to call the company 3 times only to be told it was my fault and out of the 5 hours I booked I had 3 hours of actually lesson and only 1 passed over to a new driver that I'm only keeping in contact with. I sent a email and still 2 weeks later I have not been replied to. Any time you call doesn't matter what department, the man is the same person you are talking to. They are just a couple of cheaters and not to be trusted.

Negative experience: So I paid almost £200 for lessons with this company, waited two weeks for my first lesson and by the time the instructor was 20 minutes later I phoned to see where he was. Phoned 8 times and by this point he was an hour late, I was told (rudely) that he had cancelled because all of a sudden he decided hen doesn’t cover my area and it’s ‘a bit far’ and I’d have to find another instructor with them. I had taken the day off work for this. No apology, no pre warning, just attitude and unacceptable treatment. Asked for a refund and I got scoffed at and then got huffed and puffed at when giving my card details for the refund. Terrible and unacceptable. Avoid at all cost.

Negative experience: DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY. I am currently trying to retrieve my money for driving lessons through paypal. They will take your money, and never get in touch to arrange your lessons, even with repeated follow up. Complete scam, AVOID!

Negative experience: Wish I could give zero stars! I bought a ten hour block of lessons from them a couple of years ago. One of their instructors screamed at me in the car during my fifth or sixth hour of learning. I pulled out of a junction after assessing everything was okay, he then shouted about how I was entering a national speed limit road and called me stupid. I got out the car and told him to drive me back, he then tried to make everything okay by asking me not to report the incident and offering a free lesson I went to complain about him and ask for a refund on the remaining lessons. They initially sounded concerned but didn't get back to me for a few days despite saying they would investigate the matter further and work out how much I was owed for the remaining hours I had left from the block booking. When I eventually heard back from someone I was passed around two or three people in customer service, all with bad attitudes and no concern at all about the manner in which I'd been treated by the instructor. They then went back on their word of offering me a refund, which I couldn't argue because it was something I was offered over the phone so was never in writing, and I begrudgingly continued lessons with another instructor. The second instructor was someone I never actually met. The first lesson we had booked I had to cancel because I was ill. The second time I contacted him he was on holiday and the third time his car was broken down. After that I tried to text him but never received a response. I called the company again and was given my third instructor. My third instructor was brilliant and I finished off the last few hours I'd paid for with him, and as much as I would have liked to continue with him I could not justify giving this company anymore money. They put me off driving schools completely and two years later I've passed my theory but haven't had any further lessons due to this bad experience. If you are going to use this company despite this review and others, then I would recommend you avoid using a man named Ibrahim - the first instructor who couldn't control his temper - and also Shahid - the second instructor who did a disappearing act. Unfortunately I don't have the surnames in any of the emails I received from the company. The third instructor was amazing, he is called Arjan and I really wish I could have continued with him but there was just no way I could justify paying more money to this company that were so openly disrespectful and unhelpful.

Negative experience: Booked in with them, driver well in advance and scheduled myself off work for my first lesson. On the day they didn't turn up. When I called the instructor they said they had new staff who kept messing bookings up, when I called the booking people they blamed the driver. Neither parties were interested in rectifying so I got a refund and went with a professional company instead. I may have just been unlucky with these guys, but that's just the experience I had.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service with minimal availability for lessons (3 lessons in 8 weeks despite my open availability). Was asked to commute to and from the lesson (30-40mns). Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. Or if you do book, use paypal or a credit card because they don't give refunds even if they dont provide the service and then they shirk responsibility and ask you to ask the driver to sort things out. Fingers crossed paypall will refund me!

Fantastic experience: Wasn't sure about this school as their reviews are somewhat in the middle but i bought my sister a package of 5hrs. Shebwent away and in her first few hours sheblearnt so much more than i thought she would. I thought it would take more than 5hrs to understand how a car works, but the instructor was very humble and experienced and made her comfortable in every lesson. My sister is a shy character and this really helped. She has passed her test first time and i had to write this review to show my gratitude. Thank you Want Driving Lessons - i will be recommending you guys to others as well. ^ LMAO THEY ACTUALLY MADE UP A REVIEW FOR A PLACE IVE NEVER BEEN OR BOUGHT FOR MY SISTER... Fantastic experience: Iv passed my driving test first time - sceptical at first due to the prices but was assured all instructors came with 10 years experience and were fully qualified. I beleive in London they are the cheapest without hidden extras to pay like others that advertise. I would say my instructor was amazing and trained me to a high standard. I took around 30 hours which i understand is less than the average - just goes to show my instructor was great! Now my sister is starting with them - (im sure she will need more hours) lol.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from the driving school. Very good prices compared to other driving schools, they offer full service including theory test training and early driving test bookings. I passed now my wife is taking lessons with them. Thank you for your help.

Negative experience: i wont give even a star to this companiy as they are the worst in london i belive they havnt more than 2 or 3 drivers thets way you will finish 10 lesons in three years no exprnce drivers there so to save your time your money your energey dont deal with WDR

Positive experience: I have started Automatic lessons over a year ago. the first instructor could not speak English, swore at me and shouted. Got a second one who booked me in for lessons and did not turn up or came at the wrong time in at least 4 occasions. Complained to the school and after a lenghty email exchange with their customer service I was informed that although they take the payments and invoice students directly, it is now a matter to be resolved between me and him after he insulted me by text. Basically, the record card they give you is not considered evidence of lessons, they say the payment is handled by the instructor (which is clearly a lie) and won't do anything to help. Seriously, the worst ever service I ever got. Also, they must be pretty rubbish if they only get unprofessional instructors. Don't be fooled by any positive reviews on the internet, because clearly the driving school have written them.

Fantastic experience: Amazing prices compared to other driving schools in the area, highly reccomended driving school. Very good, patient driving instructors.
