Fantastic experience: I passed my test in Chertsey today, thanks to Nigel!! Nigel is a very organised, calm, focused, and skilled instructor. From the first lesson he gives you a concise booklet summarising everything there is to know about the driving theory test, practical test, and driving skills. He gives you a full list of specific day and times time slots he is available which saves communication time. During lessons he is respectul, calm, direct, and exceptionally clear with his instructions and explanations. He not only explains the rules, but also the mechanics of the car so you can better understand how it functions in relation to your interaction with it, which helps you operate the car better as you understand how it works. When talking about more difficult concepts he pulls out a binder with real-life diagrams of car parks, roundabouts, weird roads, and annotates it so you can visualise it which is useful instead of having to imagine the things he is explaining. I would recommend him to anyone regardless of skill level!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my test on the first try thanks to the excellent instruction I received from Nigel at Flying Colours Driving School. The lessons were very well-structured, but also tailored precisely to the areas in which I needed the most focus. As an American learning to drive on the opposite side of the road — in a manual car no less — I was very nervous at the start. Nigel was very patient and reassuring, but also direct and clear whenever I had any question. I was even able to book a very last minute lesson the day before my test for some last minute revision. I would wholeheartedly recommend Flying Colours to anybody in the area looking for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: Nigel is an experienced, expert driving instructor who gave me all the tools I needed to pass my test first time with him. His communication style is straightforward and clear, he is patient and supportive and tailors lessons to make sure you are focusing being a safe driver with all the relevant skills. I'm in my 40s and failed a couple of tests with other instructors in the past, Nigel's tuition was the best I've had from an instructor and helped me get over the line and get my license. Huge thanks for him for his help.

Fantastic experience: I think Nigel is a very knowledgeable and experienced Instructor. Each lesson felt focused towards a specific goal, be it learning something new or improving on an aspect of driving that I struggled with. The 2 hour lessons were ideal for getting to grips with new skills. When it came to the day of the test I felt confident that I could drive safely which is a testament to the quality of his tuition. I would happily recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have passed with the first attempt with the flying colours, thanks to Nigel! Don't think that it is easy to pass this exam, but it's doable. Nigel had all the patient for me to repeat and repeat all necessary corrections and actions which needed to be done. So many times I wanted to argue and felt that I was doing things right, but trust Nigel experience and expertise, he definitely knows better and the correct way. He sees all the flaws and not tired to repeat all necessary routine, which simply necessary to pass this test. If you will listen Nigel, push yourself to correct yourself, you can pass this exam too. Even more, Nigel gave me experience beyond of just exam preparation, but for the real life driving too. I always feel safe with Nigel at my side. Now is the hard part, need to learn to drive by my own without Nigel advices. Thank you very much Nigel! You helped me a lot and I definitely wouldn't be able to pass this exam without your help. You are doing a great job for your students.
