We specialize in helping learners achieve confidence and safety on the road, boasting an impressive 83% first-time pass rate—significantly higher than the national average. Our mission is to cultivate lifelong safe drivers, not just individuals who can pass a test.
Our team consists of fully qualified, DVSA-approved, and DBS-checked instructors who provide patient, relaxed, and personalized one-to-one tuition. Whether you are a nervous first-time learner or an experienced driver from abroad needing a UK license, our instructors adapt to your pace. Lessons are conducted in well-maintained, air-conditioned manual vehicles (Ford Fiesta or Citroen DS3), ensuring a comfortable learning environment. We offer a convenient pick-up and drop-off service to and from your home.
Why choose us? We focus on comprehensive driving skills, covering busy town centers, dual carriageways, and country lanes. Each student receives a mock practical test before their actual exam to ensure they are fully prepared. Our high standards are reflected in our testimonials, with many students passing with zero driver faults. We have even had the privilege of training over 50% of the Chelsea FC U18s squad, all of whom passed at the first attempt. Join us to experience friendly, professional instruction that prioritizes your safety and success.

Fantastic experience: Suzanne was a great instructor for my daughter. She was very friendly and patient, and was very thorough in her teaching. She definitely gets them test ready - providing really useful tips and guidance, but also prepares them to be confident drivers once passed. Our daughter passed her test first time, with no driver faults! Thank you Suzanne
Zero driver faults is extremely impressive!!!! Congrats to your daughter and Suzanne :)
Fantastic experience: Greg was a great instructor. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher.
Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of taking a couple of 2hr refresher lessons with Greg. He is incredibly passionate about teaching, and it shows in his lessons - he is a very proficient instructor. I hadn't driven in 10 years and felt totally at ease with him, he was exceptionally open to customise lessons and was able to very clearly explain and demonstrate all aspects of driving to me in a short space of time. I couldn't recommend him more. Thanks Greg.
Fantastic experience: Greg is a brilliant driving instructor. He is a very patient, engaging instructor who made every lesson fun. Greg taught me not just to pass the test but to be a good driver, and as a result I was able to pass my test first time in an unfamiliar town. I would recommend MTG driving to anyone!
Fantastic experience: After driving with 2 different driving instructors and failing my first test, I was recommended MTG driving school by a friend. Greg is an amazing instructor and his lessons are structured in a way that made learning easy and enjoyable. Greg is very professional and gives constructive and clear feedback, but also makes you feel at ease. I wish I had Greg as a teacher the first time around, would 100% recommend to anyone!
