Fantastic experience: Just passed my test with Taz with one minor fault, and I’ve had not a small number of driving instructors. I found him patient, calm, cheerful and good at using apps/satellite maps to show the road situation and explain what had happened during the practice drive, very useful to a learner driver to see the problems very clearly laid/drawn out. He was always on time and his car never broke down, very reliable. And he’s a very pleasant person! Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Had to reschedule with another driving school as the instructor clearly didn't want to help out with the test bookings or anything rather than just pass the hours and go home.

Fantastic experience: Taz is an excellent driving instructor, his experience in driving is second to none. He helped me get comfortable on the road during my lessons, encouraged me to stay calm, always placed emphasis on observation to ensure my safety and that of other road users. He always gave me timely feedback pointing out areas I needed to correct while driving, his teaching aids with the iPad is also great as it really helped me learn quickly and also reflect on any faults. Fantastic experience: I moved to the U.K. from the US 6 years ago and had never driven in the U.K. Taz was excellent at explaining what I needed to be aware of while driving in the U.K. and mindful of the differences from driving in the US. Fantastic experience: Recently I passed my driving test after taking intensive driving lessons. Taz is professional, reliable and top quality instructor. With his skills and guidance I managed to pass my test on first attempt.

Fantastic experience: I failed three driving tests previous to starting lessons with Taz. After passing my theory again in September I called a number of local driving schools, one told me that I was a 'bad driver' and needed to book 40+ hours with them before booking a test. With Taz I passed my manual test after 16 hours. From the first lesson, I knew this approach was right for me. Taz was not overly strict, and did not bring me to tears at any point. He was also not overly friendly, and though the lessons were amicable, I felt that the relationship was always professional and I trusted him to teach me well. My highlights were the use of technology to support the content of the lessons - as a visual learner it was great to see how road situations played out. Taz was also very flexible when my first test was cancelled due to examiner unavailability and put the rest of my hours on hold until I had my next test arranged, and then scheduled them to mirror the road conditions of my test. It was also the first time someone taught me driving without strict rules (e.g. 'it's always first gear when you merge from minor to major') but instead focused on the safety and holistic approach as to how to behave on the road. The potential cons were a slightly higher price than some other local schools (but I really think you pay for what you get with Taz). I know there is also high demand for the service so you might have to wait until there is availability for you, so may not be ideal if your test is approaching very soon. I really feel that I have developed a skill for life by learning with Taz and would recommend this to anyone who has had a poor experience with other teachers or is just starting out with lessons.

Fantastic experience: Taz is a very professional and excellent instructor and is very friendly and understanding. I have passed the driving test in the first attempt itself due to his continuous training and motivation. He will make sure that his students pass in the first attempt itself and will train and push until the goal is achieved. His course is very well structured and he makes sure that we become a safe and disciplined driver by the end of the course. Also, he has state-of-the-art cars which no other instructor offers!!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant teacher. I had some lessons a few years ago with Bill Plant and wasn't confident behind the wheel at all after that. After a few hours with Taz I was much more at ease driving on the road. He knows exactly why you make mistakes and shows you how to improve without making you feel silly. Would fully recommend!

Fantastic experience: Passed at my first attempt – cannot make it without Taz’ helpful guidance and effective teaching skills. Taz has most advanced teaching aids for demonstration and it is extremely helpful for me to understand “why”. He is very patient and experienced licensed instructor and I felt very safe on the road when driving with him. Throughout my time with learning him, he could communicate exactly what was needed to pass the test, he was extremely professional and would always be on time, he would make sure what we were doing was beneficial and so time was never wasted, and he could always tell you what was needed in order to improve. Fantastic experience: Taz helped me passing my practical driving test first time. He was very professional and genuinely would like to help you pass the test in the shortest time possible. He explained well and equipped himself with the required teaching aids materials. When he wanted to highlight some issues with my driving, he would ask me to pull over safely to the side of the road and turn off the engine and then used his ipad which was installed with google earth / maps as well as a number of driving learning programs to make his explanation very easy to understand and visualize. I would recommend Taz as your driving instructor with no hesitation!

Fantastic experience: Taz is by far the best instructor I've had in a long time (and I've had 3 others). He helped me overcome my phobia for driving which lasted over a decade after I passed my first driving test in a different country. His best quality is that he reacts calmly when I make mistakes, and he has an effective method of teaching. There're too many qualities to mention, but I really like his empathy to his students, understanding their nerves and making sure it goes away after a lesson with him. Fantastic experience: “I was looking for a driving instructor who would be good as I easily get tensed if I make simple mistake. I also wanted someone with a good pass rate and who had been teaching for a reasonable length of time. When I started learning with Taz, he put me at ease and I started enjoying lessons with him. I actually did improve lesson by lesson and with more practice. Taz's teaching methods were really good and I learnt a lot quicker than I thought I would. I would 100% recommend Taz and I thought the teaching was very clear and efficient.”

Negative experience: Unsure as of why the black corsa, instructor car was driving with one headlight out, I’m sure it’s the law that a motor vehicle must have 2 lights. The driver was also driving with the full beam on, on more than one occasion behind me and in front of me. Not the safest of cars or drivers I’d have to say!
