Only Essex Driving School

Negative experience: My son has been learning with this instructor Mark for 9 months. After waiting 6 months for his test to come around, Mark tells us a week before his test that he won’t be presenting my son and can’t use the car he has been learning in as he doesn’t think he’s ready?! My son has had 40hrs and feels very confident in all his manoeuvres and generally being on the road. If you can imagine waiting six months (which is the time it takes these days to get a test) and then the one person you rely on to give your child confidence for their driving test to be so negative and is only after more money then Mark’s your man. I mean what kind of scam is this? The test is booked and he’s ready to take it! I’m sure Mark will respond to say something along the lines of I felt your son wasn’t ready and it’s in my right blah blah..but shouldn’t that be up to the examiner to decide?! This world really has gone to s#!@ with people like this about as if life isn’t hard enough

Negative experience: Got my wife lessons with them. Steer clear from the automatic instructors just incase you get the one she had. He gave it all the biggen about punctuality and then never actually turned up on time sometimes didn’t turn up at all and didn’t even give a reason, then decided to go completely AWOL and left it owing us money for the lessons we had paid upfront. The office just basically thobbed me off saying there was nothing they could do and didn’t even bother to try to resolve it. Only way is Essex pah…. more like the only way is toilet

Fantastic experience: I passed my automatic test yesterday thanks to Neal. I came to Neal after a few years of failed tests and struggling with bad nerves and undue hesitation whilst driving. Neal made my driving lessons extremely enjoyable and I always looked forward to them. He is very knowledgeable, calm, patient and professional. His good sense of humour really helped my nerves and I gained so much confidence and knowledge with him!! I definetely recommend Neal Evans Thank you Neal! :) Tanya
