Negative experience: Lessons were going fine at first but after a while felt like I wasn’t progressing. Had always paid full amount in cash and on the day of lesson but on my ninth lesson I was feeling really ill so had to cancel the morning of, Ian didn’t take it well and insisted that I had to still pay £60 and that I should have called 48 hours beforehand (i’m not psychic i didn’t know i would be ill! ). Then when I refused to pay the full amount for a lesson I couldn’t do as I felt ill he said I wouldn’t see him again (refused to do any more lessons with me). Completely rude, immature and sulking over my one cancellation when I’d been great with every single lesson before. As well as this he always made petty sarcastic comments about women not being able to drive, will be finding a female instructor next time.

Negative experience: Very Bad Instructor,during lessons waste time to go get coffee and uses unqualified instructors to teach during lesson while he sits at the back.cancels booked lessons. Unreliable and untrustworthy do not recommend

Fantastic experience: Don’t understand some of the negative reviews I have read, I started being taught by Ian a few days after my birthday and he has been great. His communication and teaching methods are amazing they are different but they help you understand the reality of driving. Ian has never been late to pick me up for a lesson and has never not contacted me about the next lesson. I was very nervous to start driving but from the second I got behind the wheel Ian had made me feel very comfortable and relaxed and I feel as though I could pass my test already. I thank Ian for his teaching and have recommended him to many people already.

Negative experience: Ian insisted a 2hr session for first lesson. Had one lesson and never contacted me again for further lessons. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: I passed with Ian 11th March & he was the best instructor you could ever ask for!! 100% would recommend him to anyone!
