Fantastic experience: Best experience with driving instructing I have ever received. I am not from the area so have no prior knowledge of the roads for the test. Matt, my instructor completely changed the game for driving for me. Really broadened the horizon and boosted my confidence and skills to back it up. Fantastic experience: Having lived in France for a long time, I hadn't driven in the UK for 7 years. I hadn't driven a right hand vehicle for 13 years, so decided to do a refresher lesson. I had the great fortune to have Kay. She immediately put me at ease. Kay made the lesson informative, fun and totally made me feel confident about driving in the UK again. Fantastic experience: Dean is a fantastic driving instructor. I was very anxious to start driving again, having failed several tests 10 years ago, but Dean really helped me build my confidence and I managed to pass on my first attempt with him. He was very reliable and didn't cancel a single lesson, which was really appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I finally passed my driving test this week and all the thanks goes to Dean. He is amazing, he never let me give up and was always giving me encouragement and so much support. He is such a great friendly guy and easy going, he puts you at ease the minute you get into his car and really believes in you and your abilities as a driver.

Fantastic experience: Dean is an amazing instructor and I can recommend him wholeheartedly - especially for neurodivergent students who may have struggled elsewhere. Many of the skills associated with driving do not come naturally to me, and as an adult with ADHD who was pronounced unteachable by other driving instructors in the area, it was incredible to find an instructor with Dean's level of knowledge and understanding. I'm grateful to him for his patience, persistence, good humour, and unwavering support. He knows how to adapt his teaching style for the student, and will keep reframing problems until the solution clicks. I have finally passed my driving test (something I was once told I would probably never do!), and am continuing to have lessons with Dean to consolidate my skills and get comfortable on the motorway. Thank you Dean, you're a miracle-worker!

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience learning to drive with Matthew. He's incredibly calm and patient, which really helped ease my nerves behind the wheel. The car was top-notch, and well-maintained, making the lessons enjoyable. Plus, it was super convenient that he could pick me up from work during my lunch breaks for lessons. Even on the day of my test, when we hit unexpected grid-lock traffic, he managed to get me there on time, and I passed on my first try. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test the other day and can't thank Dean enough for how he taught me to drive. Previous instructors over the years had made me feel uncomfortable with lessons feeling anxiety-inducing, feeling judged and so struggling more. With Dean, I felt comfortable, supported and relaxed by his energy and teaching style. He helped boost my confidence, was encouraging and I enjoyed lessons with him - chatting and having a laugh as well as always learning so much. He was also very understanding around my health conditions and would factor that into lessons. Highly recommend for automatic lessons.

Negative experience: My instructor shouted and swore at me repeatedly when I made errors. Overall, it was a lengthy, expensive, and over time quite unpleasant experience that didn't result in a pass. Now I have to start over with another instructor.

Fantastic experience: Dean is an amazing driving instructor, always on time and creates a friendly environment in the car, he really helps you if you have anxiety when driving. Car always smells nice and is clean. Would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: As an extremely nervous driver I found this driving school excellent! My instructor Dean was calm, knowledgeable and patient. He was always prompt and never cancelled any lessons. He even managed to advise me how to get my test earlier! Overall an excellent experience compared to other driving schools I have tried. Really cannot thank Dean enough, he's an absolute gem!

Negative experience: Just nearly been knocked my bike by one of your cars in burgess hill, all the instructor did was wave afterwards!! If this is how you teach driving then avoid at all costs!!!

Fantastic experience: Round the Bend were extremely efficient in making contact with me and putting me in touch with my instructor (Dean) and lessons began shortly after. I am absolutely over the moon with my experience with Round the Bend. My instructor (Dean) is very knowledgeable and helpful and has such a calming attitude about him which makes learning to drive a pleasure. Having had a negative experience with another driving school, I was glad to be met with such a calming and professional instructor. Dean is a great teacher and has been very thorough every step of the way. Dean has a calming presence with a great deal of patience, which I think is very important when helping somebody learn how to drive, as it can be very daunting when taking to the roads for the first time.. All in all my experience with Round the Bend and my instructor Dean has been absolutely brilliant, and I would very highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I passed my test yesterday. After struggling so much with my 1st instructor from Bsm, I found David from Round the bend. He was amazing. Very patient, and teaches you to be a good driver overall. I, 100% recommend Round the bend if you wanna learn to drive.

She’s great at structuring each lesson to focus on the things I needed to practice most. I’ve left really confident of my abilities and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I passed today thanks to Dunc, cannot recommend him highly enough. Being an older learner, I was very nervous to begin with but his patience and teaching method got me through. My daughter will be due to take lessons in a couple of years and I will be looking Dunc up when that time comes.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend them enough. Passed today after Clare and Matt moved mountains to make sure I could take the test after some scheduling issues with DVSA. They went above and beyond the call of duty! Not only were they absolute stars on test day, Clare has been brilliant throughout. She has been so patient with me (great as I was a nervous driver) and has been an absolute pleasure to learn with. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Great teacher passed test with only 6 hrs of training Matthew is brilliant he will get u to do a few thinks first then show and tell you where you going wrong and it sticks in your head from then.Once again Matthew a big thank you

Negative experience: Started off ok, but the instructor I had was impatient and liked to bark at me when I made mistakes. I was anxious about learning to drive and it just made it worse. Also seemed to think I was a therapist so I heard all about their family problems, history, etc. Also one time the car wouldn't go above 40mph on a dual carriageway halfway through a lesson and he didn't believe it was the car but me being anxious. All in all, find somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Passed my B+E trailer test with Matt. Excellent teacher and nice guy. Always felt relaxed and only offered advice / input when needed. Passed with no advisories with thanks to Round the Bend driving school.

Fantastic experience: I was so happy with how Matthew helped me pass my B+E trailer test. I had three lessons and that gave me what I needed to feel confident in the test. I was surprised that though I've been driving 20 years, and clock up about 20,000 miles per yer, there was still lots to learn. Matthew was both patient with me, very professional and also helped me correct 20 years of bad habits. I would highly recommend 'Round the Bend' for anyone doing a test or simply needing a top up on becoming a better driver. Really helpful, great communication in the emails leading up to the first lesson, and helped me pass first time. Thanks Matthew, and have a great end to the year (2020)!

Fantastic experience: I had Matt as my instructor and he made all of my lessons very relaxed and was easy to get along with. I passed my test first time with 0 minors and only had 25 hours of lessons. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Fantastic experience: Ive just passed my B+E trailer test after being taught by Mat, ive got to say he really is a great teacher. I had watched a few videos on youtube before hand and was a bit confused and worried about reversing with a trailer but after Mat walking through it, i found it very easy. His methods of teaching are excelent as he describes it in a way thats extremley easy to follow and learn. If you need to do your trailer test, i couldnt recomend any one more, top bloke 10/10

I started with him in October 19 and he’s helped me with all aspects of the car, he’s a fantastic and friendly teacher which will help you gain confidence at the wheel and will teach you the right skills to pass your test.

Fantastic experience: By far the best driving school out there! I had previously been with another school for a few weeks who had completely taught me wrong and knocked all confidence I had. After meeting Matt I instantly felt comfortable, he’s a great teacher, he never makes you feel stupid and gives you every confidence to pass! I started learning with Matt end of April and I have just passed first time with one minor thanks to him! I cannot thank Matt enough! I recommend this school to everyone! Negative experience: I would like to post my struggle with this company. I have assigned an instructor for learning in the last year and I have paid 20 hrs one week and 20hrs in next week to total 40hrs money. After I paid whole money he is always late canceled most of the classes. He left this company with my money. But the Mathew helped me to get back my money only little and his employee disappeared with £220 pounds. So far this company not paying my money but whenever I call they do not respond. Whoever reading this message I kindly request you please arise about this issue and you aware of this type of fraud. I am still hoping that this company will pay back my money. This is 2020 still this company did not pay my money.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend a more knowledgable and experienced teacher than Craig Wadhams. He knows how to put you at ease behind the wheel and his lessons are enjoyable, inspiring and customised to suit the individual. I was extremely close to taking my test with him but sadly can’t due to moving home. I shall certainly let him know when I pass though and shall always be extremely grateful for what he has taught me. He has given me the tools to be a safe and educated driver, for my test and beyond.
