Two things I really appreciate about Faraz: First: The way he explains driving manoeuvres just using a notepad is very clear, engaging, and easy to understand and follow. Second: Faraz is a dedicated person. On the day of my driving test, the car broke down while another student was taking their test, and I was already waiting for my turn at the Kirkcaldy test center. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to take my test, but Faraz quickly managed to find a car through his instructor friend, Charlie from Charlie Driving School. Charlie was so kind to provide his Mini Cooper and give me a quick demo on the car’s functions before the test. Thank you very much for helping.

Fantastic experience: I was a very nervous driver when I started lessons down south. When I moved up to Scotland, I started lessons with Faraz & he has turned me into a confident and very skilled driver. I suffer with bad anxiety and have ADHD which inevitably affects my anxiety levels, planning, observations etc. I have a lot of self doubt issues and find it difficult not to overthink when driving. I really appreciated Faraz’s visual teaching style, drawing out scenarios eg on roundabouts on paper afterwards and he always explained any faults in detail so I thoroughly understood how to learn from them. I found that very helpful to help me visualise. Thank you for your confidence in me!!

Fantastic experience: I had little experience in drive, I enquired for lessons to a different instructor whom themselves recommended me to Faraz as they mentioned if am running against time only person can get you through test quick would be only Faraz and they were correct, Faraz done a quick driving demo and arranged a test and started my training 2 weeks prior to it and I passed first time, really knowledgeable guy also very friendly, explains things very well but focuses more on your confidence level so you can drive anywhere in the world, I started to notice the difference on very first lesson and enjoyed driving more, he always said drive 3 cars one in front yours and one at the back and he was very right. Fantastic experience: My husband passed with FTF Driving School a few years ago so I'd already heard good things. I returned to learning to drive after a 20year gap with anxiety and a genuine fear of being behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t recommend FTF Driving School highly enough!! I’m 35 and have had two instructors previously throughout the years but kept giving up through lack of self belief, no one ever expected me to drive and I really don’t think I would have kept going never mind pass first time if it weren’t for Faraz. From the get go, he read me like a book and really tailored his teaching technique to suit me as an individual. Never once did I think about giving up, and even on the days where I was experiencing severe anxiety I still wanted to get out in the car. On those days we’d take it slow and have a chat and each time I’d feel 100% calmer and more confident afterwards. Faraz didn’t just teach me to pass, he taught me how to drive confidentially, trust my decisions and most importantly to enjoy it. I started off doing lessons with him and was ready to sit my test before heading off to uni but it unfortunately got cancelled. However, a year later I returned from uni and Faraz was extremely accommodating towards me and despite having many other students to teach managed to fit me in for a few lessons and get me a test booked. Lessons are structured so you can progress in a safe/efficient manner (for instance if your great at parking but struggling with spiral roundabouts lessons will focus to strengthen your weakest area).
