Fantastic experience: I took my driving lessons with Simon and I’m very happy to say I past my test today. After multiple failed attempts due to nerves and anxiety simon got me through it in the end as he told me he would! He taught me how drive but also how to control my nerves and believe in myself to pass.
Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test back in October with the help of Matt! Matt is a fantastic driving instructor and helps put you at ease, making lessons enjoyable. I had lost all confidence in driving due to a negative experience with a previous instructor. Matt helped me to believe in myself and I gained back my confidence. Thanks so much for all your help Matt, I miss the lessons and the jokes!
Negative experience: Used this company 2 yrs ago shocking behaviour from my instructor who let me down 4 days before my test was booked with him because I hadn't had a lesson for 2 weeks with him due to him not having availability. I also spent alot of money on lessons with them over 6 months .shocking customer service also .I went on to pass my test by hiring my car from arnold clarke at half the price of lessons from here..NO CHANCE TO REPLY TO YOUR NAS FEEDBACKNTO ME .MUST HAVE TOUCHED A NERVE. FOR 1 I DID NOT MOAN ABOUT COSTS .FOR 2 I DID NOT CHANGE DRIVING INSTRUCTOR AT ALL .STOP LYING TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER.
Hi Christina, Thank you for the 1 star review from 2 years ago. However here is the truth as per our T&Cs, upon booking a driving test you must continue to have regular lessons up to your driving test to ensure you remain at the required standard. What you done was book a driving test and then moaned about having to pay for a 2 hour booking on the day of your driving test. You then swapped instructors because you failed your first driving test. The next instructor, you booked a driving test again, but then decided to not have any lessons or make contact with the instructor at any stage for the 8 to 10 weeks prior to your driving test date and then 4 days before your driving test contacted the driving instructor about your driving test. But because of the lack of communication from your end, lost your space in the diary. All our instructors use a lesson booking system via student app to book lessons in advance....you never done this. Arnold clark is cheaper, because you are simply hiring a vehicle this doesn't include any professional help from an instructor. Driving lessons pricrs are based on the use of the instructors vehicle, their knowledge and understanding of what is involved and on the day of the driving test it is 2 hours because if you are using their car for the driving test, how are they meant to make a living if you have their only means of income. The fee you pay to book the driving test to DVSA, is for the time of the examiner which is either £62 for 40 mins or £75 for 40 mins at weekends.
Fantastic experience: Massive thank you to Simon who guided me every step of the way during my driving journey. I passed today in Speke thanks to Simon, after 17 hours of lessons I was ready for my test. Although I haven’t had many instructors, I would 100% recommend Simon to anyone looking to learn how to drive. He was patient, calm and taught me the safest way to drive on the roads. Every lesson was something new to learn, as well as having a laugh at the same time. Thank you Simon once again, I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve taught me!

Fantastic experience: I had my lessons with Simon, couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! After having failed 2 times before, I swapped over to Simon and his patience and the way he gave me confidence allowed me to pass first time with just 10 lessons! Couldn’t recommend a better instructor to do lessons with, so much flexibility for lessons also!

Fantastic experience: During my time with Simon I have had several driving test fails, due to my extreme anxiousness especially during the driving test. At one point I believed that I wouldn’t pass any time soon. With a few more lessons recently and with Simon's patient, caring and motivating manner throughout I finally got through my driving test today at Speke. I genuinely don’t think I could have got through this driving journey without his persistent carefree, patient and encouraging nature which motivated me to keep on going when I thought it was near impossible. Highly recommend Simon for anyone wanting to take automatic lessons!

Hi Glenn, Thank you for taking the time to give us a 1-star review. We have looked on our enquiries and can see you put in an enquiry on 4th June 2024....it is now 13th June 2024. Not exactly 3 weeks.....also as per our website it does say on our "book lessons" tab that upon completing an enquiry, if we have an instructor in your area you will get a text /email to be added to our "waiting list" and if we have space within the next 4 weeks you will get another text to connect with an instructor. It also says that after 4 weeks waiting lists and enquiries are deleted. This is because students find an instructor and do not inform us which means we waste hours chasing enquiries. We can also see you gave another school (Rainbow driving school) a 5 star review, simply for asking a question.

Negative experience: My driving instructor from this company, I will not name names was not good at explaining things whilst on the road, and blamed me for mistakes he did NOT explain. Charged £43 for a 60 minute automatic driving lesson and because I was new I only got to drive for half of this time. I had 4 lessons with him and never heard from him again, would always cancel last minute. Absolutely out of order. It is only fair that I get a refund, he is an embarrassment to this company.
Thank you for your 1 star review, we strive on honest reviews and feedback so having spoken to the instructor in question we have some feedback. They informed us that you told them that you have ADHD and when asked how this affects you with replied with concentration and you often zoned out. They tried to help you every lesson, but you simply wouldnt listen to guidance and struggled to control the automatic vehicle that you were having lessons in. After 4 lessons the instructor said that due to you zoning out you were unsafe to be taking driving lessons and on the road and so stopped your driving lessons in the interest of public safety. We also had a look when your last lesson was and it was in August 2023, yet took you until January 2024 to leave this review. No lessons will be refunded.

Fantastic experience: Have just passed my driving test with Simon as my instructor - I cannot thank him enough. He's been ABSOLUTELY incredible throughout each of my lessons and I would recommend him to anyone struggling with anxiety (complete terror) when learning to drive. He was so so patient, never shouted or got annoyed, and helped me believe that I could do it, especially when I didn't myself. I've had 3 previous instructors, who didn't put my nerves at ease, so being taught by Simon has completely changed my life - no exaggeration! Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Driving Lessons Liverpool enough. I was let down by my previous instructor with only 4 weeks until my test date and 6 weeks left until my theory ran out. Fantastic experience: After years of struggling with manual lessons I finally took the plunge and went for automatic. I wish I had done it sooner. Rafi was my instructor and within the first few lessons I knew I was going to be ok. He explained everything clearly, he was so patient with me l, calmed my nerves and boosted my confidence so much. I learnt more in the first few lessons I had with Rafi than I had learnt over the last 10 years with various driving schools. I passed my test first time yesterday with only 5 minors. I can’t thank Rafi enough, I would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Paul, he was very professional and not intimidating at all. Paul gave me a chance to run through everything I knew as I had done the driving test once before. He was easy to trust especially with doing my manoeuvres. Due to his calm cool attitude I wasn't as nervous as during the examine as I was before getting into the car. Paul went over everything I needed to know within a short timeframe and I ended up passing. Was worth the money and Thank you so much Paul, you were amazing.
Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Matty enough for all his help and training. I was able to pass 1st time with only 1 driving fault. Wouldn't have been able to do it with anyone else, Matty is the best there is out there. Throws you straight into the deep end, builds your confidence up massively and helps you in any way he can. Compared to when I first got behind the wheel and refused to drive over 10 mph, I feel so confident in myself now and it's all thanks to Matty at Driving Lessons Liverpool. Fantastic experience: I decided to take lessons again after having a 15 year gap inbetween my first lessons at age 18. I first learnt in a manual so decided an Automatic would be the way forward for me to get my licence as i always struggled in a manual. I was not wrong! Learning in an auto was SO much easier, and stress free. I had lessons with Ste and Matt over my 16months of lessons (on and off because of Covid) and i can honestly say i enjoyed all of my lessons. I never once felt pressured or uneasy, which was always a worry of mine having not done lessons for so long. Both Ste and Matt were very patient with me and helped me with areas i struggled on no matter how many times we had to go over the same thing. (Parallel park - ha!) I passed with Matt on the 20th of July and i can honestly say it was the best feeling EVER! I'm positive that without Liverpool Automatic Lessons i wouldn't have had the courage to do my lessons again to the level or being test ready and I'll be forever thankful for that! Having my licence is going to be a game changer for me and my family - Thankyou :)

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today with Matty. After taking lessons for a couple of years with a previous instructor who made me feel very scared and uncomfortable at the wheel that I decided to change and came across Matty. I never looked back. I suffer with bad anxiety but he gave me the confidence and determination to pass and I will always be thankful to him for this. So patient, kind, really cares and wants his students to do well.
