Fantastic experience: Having done my BE and C with TTUK it was only logical to go with them to do my CE (Artic). I had Nick throughout my lessons and test and he was absolutely superb, his calming methods and precise way of teaching is fantastic. I passed my CE with 1 minor and would like to thank Nick for this as he goes above and beyond the watchword. Nick is a credit to TTUK, thank you once again

Fantastic experience: I passed my class 2 with you yesterday!! I would 100% recommend trailer training, both nick and bob are spot on guys, both with spot on knowledge. At times they can be a bit stern but it’s for your own good and will definitely help you, you have to be cruel to be kind as they say and I wouldn’t of changed any of it. Thanks again nick and bob. Anthony
Fantastic experience: Had me periodic cpc course with nick very well presented
Negative experience: Writing on behalf of my other half. I had a really terrible experience with Trailer training and would not recommend them at all. I failed my reversing (coupling and uncoupling) test due to something I was not taught by my instructor during training. This then resulted in me missing out on doing my Class 1 practical the following day which I was only informed of the morning of my “practical” When I re done my reversing the following morning, I was sent to a test place not only I had never been too but neither had my instructor and I had to drive there while he tried to navigate through the satnav meaning he did not have eyes on the road during these times. I also was made to pay for it myself even though I had explained to the managing director why I had failed and that I was not taught vital bits of the test. I ended up having to go elsewhere to do my class 1 practical and pay for that out of my own pocket as trailer training refused to refund me through something that was no fault of my own. When making a formal complaint about this, I received rude undermining emails and the whole situation of not being taught properly by their instructor was not addressed until 3 emails later back and forth. All I got was the blame passed on myself. Before doing my class 1 with a different company they went through some things with me prior and I realised that there was more that I was not taught by my instructor at trailer training so fortunately this new company were very helpful, taught me what I had missed out from my previous instructor and I passed. 3 days later, and it is still far from resolved, trailer were not aware I’d booked my class 1 elsewhere and hadn’t even bothered to contact me to get me a new test with themselves which fortunately, I decided to do off my own back anyway. What was meant to be a happy experience was nothing but stress in the end followed by an unhelpful rude managing director who has done almost nothing to help resolve this issue. If I could give minus 5 stars I would
Hello. It was unfortunate that your partner failed his 3a test. But as I did explain in my email, your partner failed the 3a test on not refitting the number plate on the trailer on the recoupling part of the test. As per your email, he remembered the number plate on the uncoupling part of the test as he asked the examiner, “did he want him to remove the number plate”. The examiner then replied, “no that’s perfectly fine”. It is unreasonable for the training company to be blamed for his failure, by saying he wasn’t taught about the number plate going back on, when he mentioned the number-plate coming off to the examiner. If a number-plate has come off a vehicle, it will always need to go back on before going on the road. Your partner then took the test again the following day after we spent time sourcing a test at a test centre 45 minutes away, as it was a month's wait at the local test centre and we wanted to help your partner pass whilst still fresh. The fact you hadn't been to this test centre isn't of consequence as the location of an off-road test doesn't matter, as it's off road. The 66m metre concrete reversing area has the same dimensions, surface and standards everywhere in the country. He then passed, congratulations and all the best in his future career. We strive to do our best for our customers.
