Fantastic experience: Having done my BE and C with TTUK it was only logical to go with them to do my CE (Artic). I had Nick throughout my lessons and test and he was absolutely superb, his calming methods and precise way of teaching is fantastic. I passed my CE with 1 minor and would like to thank Nick for this as he goes above and beyond the watchword. Nick is a credit to TTUK, thank you once again

Negative experience: Writing on behalf of my other half. I had a really terrible experience with Trailer training and would not recommend them at all. I failed my reversing (coupling and uncoupling) test due to something I was not taught by my instructor during training. This then resulted in me missing out on doing my Class 1 practical the following day which I was only informed of the morning of my “practical” When I re done my reversing the following morning, I was sent to a test place not only I had never been too but neither had my instructor and I had to drive there while he tried to navigate through the satnav meaning he did not have eyes on the road during these times. I also was made to pay for it myself even though I had explained to the managing director why I had failed and that I was not taught vital bits of the test. I ended up having to go elsewhere to do my class 1 practical and pay for that out of my own pocket as trailer training refused to refund me through something that was no fault of my own. When making a formal complaint about this, I received rude undermining emails and the whole situation of not being taught properly by their instructor was not addressed until 3 emails later back and forth. All I got was the blame passed on myself. Before doing my class 1 with a different company they went through some things with me prior and I realised that there was more that I was not taught by my instructor at trailer training so fortunately this new company were very helpful, taught me what I had missed out from my previous instructor and I passed. 3 days later, and it is still far from resolved, trailer were not aware I’d booked my class 1 elsewhere and hadn’t even bothered to contact me to get me a new test with themselves which fortunately, I decided to do off my own back anyway. What was meant to be a happy experience was nothing but stress in the end followed by an unhelpful rude managing director who has done almost nothing to help resolve this issue. Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely, knowledgeable and professional team. It was always going to be a lot of money to part with to get my higher cat licence however it’s so reassuring to know it’s with a company that really values it’s students. From the first point of contact with James through to my instructor with Bob - absolutely great and really adapted the teaching style to suit me (and my nerves) - can not recommend enough. First time pass with only one minor - I couldn’t be happier and I owe a lot of that to the Trailer Training team!

Fantastic experience: Done my class 1 with Winchester branch, the whole experience was great right from the start, booking with James was very easy and straight forward and he pretty much sorted everything for me, including my medical, theory, cpc, training, etc, you have a brilliant team of instructors who are very friendly, patient, clear and concise, I trained with Nick and Damien who were amazing but I also met Bob a few times and he was my examiner for my mod 4 and he was a great bloke also! I enjoyed every minute of it and would highly recommend yourselves to anyone looking for any of the training you provide. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic team from the long winded web chat and endless emails on my behalf keep putting it off I finally had the chance to book my course they were brilliant at fitting me in around my days off and even split my course over a couple of weeks all instructors are friendly down to earth and easy to talk too. I can’t recommend these guys enough I have already been handing out cards at work for the guys also looking to upgrade there licences. Booking process = 5* Instructors = 5* Vehicles =5* Genuinely not a single fault with this company.

Fantastic experience: I completed a combined C1 & D1 course with Trailer Training UK, and I can’t recommend them enough. On the week of my course, a staff member was suddenly unavailable, but the team rebooked my course with revised hours, and refunded for the lost hours. I had two Instructors, Luke, and Andy, and both were brilliant. If you want to complete any PCV/HGV training, this is the place to do it!

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Trailer training UK are all very friendly, professional and understanding. I had 3 different instructors over my course, Dave, Ian & Shaun. They were all brilliant and had great ways of teaching, giving confidence, and getting the best out of my driving. I got on particularly well with Dave and was glad he was able to teach me a couple of times, including the morning of my B+E pass. This wasn’t just to get my B+E licence, but to give me my confidence back after a serious car accident earlier in the year. Trailer training UK have helped me get through a difficult time and have helped me achieve more than just getting my towing license. A huge THANK YOU . I would recommend Trailer Training UK to everyone.

Positive experience: Had an amazing instructor, Martin, who made the whole process enjoyable and we had such a giggle for both of the courses I completed. The main reason I went back to TTUK was specifically for my instructor. First time round I did have to have a couple of other instructors on two occasions; for one session and the test day and I really didn't gel with one of them, felt his teaching was misaligned with both the other instructor's I had and seemed quiet arrogant (don't think he came from a lorry driving background either) - however I believe he plays a more back seat/admin role now. All in all an easy company to deal with and I thought they were pretty good on the value for money front. Also didn't feel out of place as a woman doing lorry licences which is quite nice as I'm a tiny blonde and there was such good rapport with my instructor and no question was judged as silly and anything that needing checking I would get a response or extra information between driving sessions. I passed both licence qualifications and had fun doing it.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, the van was quite old and the Van trailer electrics failed twice and once Was during my test, so could not be completed, made me book 12 hours when I only wanted 10. And when paid for 12 they tryed to fob me off with 11 hours. Had to argue to get my money back and the instructor even lied about me reporting the electrics problems. Went to Winchester but when turned up had booked my test in Newbury, Iv never driven in Newbury. So you spend a lot of time wasteing you training time driving up to Newbury. DO your self a big favour and avoid this company, they don’t care about the customer just to rip you off for as much money as they can.

Negative experience: This company is horrendous.they take your money.wait till you show up for your first lesson then tell you it's in Newbury. two different instructors . don't take you on any test routes . don't show you how to do a proper reverse to test standard.to lazy to set out the cones.the instructor set one cone and a pallet.he tried to show me and ran over the pallet.they admitted that I was not trained properly and offered me 3 hours training.u said no and asked for money they gave me a fraction of why does the owner not reply to me???

Negative experience: Booked a C+E with this company. Unfortunately on the day of the course at 05:00 my mother passed away. This company refuses to refund or part refund the cost of the course. All they will do is 10% discount if i pay them another £800.00. Make sure when you book that no one in your family is sick as there is no compassion.

Negative experience: Have had a two day course here for my C1 which I had different instrucors each day, both of which were lovely and knew their stuff but the continuity was not there, when it came to my test I was going down roads I'd never practiced on which made it even more difficult, in the end I failed mainly due to nerves. I decided to come back here for my Retest despite the fact that it is very far from where I live and there is closer training providers near me. When I came back I was expecting to have the same instructor who understood why I failed and what I could work on from my test. However I was given yet another different instructor, again very patient and knew his stuff but obviously through no fault of his own did not know me and how I could improve. Once again I took my test and went down roads I'd never driven down, I failed again after having to turn left when the road ahead got too narrow. I think the training here can be improved if a student is allocated just one instructor for their whole time and if you practice the actual routes which are used in the test so there are no surprises. I'm really sad to leave this bad review because the staff really are so good but the continuity is not there and I will not be returning.

Negative experience: Incredibly disappointing. Course cancelled at ten minutes notice due to sickness of instructor. Fair enough but customer service was very poor - no compensation offered, not even a penny. Only options, do course another day (another day of annual leave from work for me and hubby) or have your money back. Not getting a penny of my money now.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, professional service, easy to book, very well organised and most importantly, excellent instructors that know exactly what you need to know to pass your test. I would recommend to anyone looking to pass their trailer test, especially if time is limited.

Negative experience: Really good instructors but very weak in terms of organization. (Ex. booking driving test in wrong place, drive a completely different vehicle in driving test etc.) It took me over 4 months to get my cat C and C+E licenses and I ended up spending more than a thousand on the top. unfortunately I can't recommend.

Its common to have instructors with very little personality but everyone I met made me feel very at ease, which of course enhanced my driving and therefore a pass first time. Centre easy to get to and prices very reasonable - you can use their vehicle or your own and they're very accommodating. Cheers guys!
