Fantastic experience: I learned to drive with Paul and could not recommend him enough. I have passed my test first time with only one minor. I found Paul to be an excellent teacher who would explain things very clearly and tailored lessons to what I felt I needed more practice on. From her first drive right through through to spiral roundabouts, merging lanes and some motorway driving she found Paul to be calm, patient, reassuring and clear in his instructions. Fantastic experience: My daughter stared her lessons with oak school of motoring in June 23’ and was feeling anxious as she was unsure what to expect. She had Paul as an instructor and instantly realised she’d found the instructor for her, she felt comfortable and relaxed with no feeling of pressure to rush through the lessons. Paul was very professional with excellent communication with both my daughter and myself, I would highly recommend this driving school, my daughter passed today, first time with zero driving faults. Fantastic experience: My Dad had taught me the basics then Malcolm at Oak School of Motoring filled in the gaps. He was very helpful, patient and supportive and after 4 lessons I took my test which I passed, thank you Malcolm you were great. I've since scheduled a motorway lesson with Malcolm too.

Fantastic experience: Paul recently gave lessons to my twin daughters. He was very calm with them and talked them through any particular problems they were having with their driving. Very happy with the outcome and both girls out driving now which saves me giving them lifts everywhere!!

Fantastic experience: My instructor Malcolm was amazing, incredibly patient when I was progressing and always took into account what I felt that I needed to improve on the most when planning lessons, was a pleasure to spend 2 hours a week learning to drive with him and would thoroughly recommend and helped me massively to pass first time

Fantastic experience: Review is a bit late, but I had Holly as a driving instructor and she helped me pass first time back in April. Coming from an instructor who wasn't reliable at all, it was such a relief having a reliable, communicative, patient, and knowledgeable driving instructor. I'm very very grateful for her help and advice. I will always recommend her as a driving instructor should anyone need one!

Fantastic experience: Paul taught all 3 of my daughters to drive, he was always very reliable , on time and very professional, He made them feel at ease when driving with him. He managed to pass them all first time, one with no minors and the other two with only one minor. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor.

Fantastic experience: Started my lessons pre Covid with Paul who was always so calm and reassuring. Continued with Holly after the pandemic who has always gone above and beyond in accommodating me, reassuring me and most of all making the lessons ‘MY’ lessons. Whatever I wanted to do or felt unsure of she would go over and over with me even if she thought I was ready and I felt I wasn’t. I’m going to miss my lessons now I have passed but I’m so happy someone else now has a chance to learn with her.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Holly taught me over a difficult period (with breaks due to Covid lockdowns) but managed to pass with only 3 faults! Easy to get started and a very patient and adaptable teacher.

Fantastic experience: After a tough few setbacks, I passed with a clean sheet! Paul is an amazing instructor who is very professional and listens to your less confident areas and always takes them into account. I love the way that the instructor uses a system that keeps track of your lessons objectives and what you want to improve on for next time I found this was very effective and helped immensely. Paul was always reliable and never canceled short notice, he would always go above and beyond to fit you in for lessons… Overall I would highly recommend Paul and his team!

Negative experience: Instructor wanted to stop for a ten minute break most lessons and then always dropped me home ten minutes early. Never taught me how to use the handbrake or any manoeuvres despite having so many lessons. Basically, he didn't actually teach me anything so I went to a different company in the end. Wasted so much money when I was struggling to afford it anyway.

Fantastic experience: **UPDATE** I cannot recommend Oak School of Motoring enough, Paul is an amazing teacher. Our youngest daughter has also passed 1st time with only 1 fault. Thank you Paul both my girls have been taught by the best. Paul taught our eldest daughter to drive and she passed 1st time, he was always very friendly, calm and professional. He always had very good communication skills with both myself and my daughter. In fact we were so happy that we have already booked Paul in to teach our second daughter to drive in 2021. I would 100% recommend Oak School of Motoring to anyone looking for a professional and reliable driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to take the time to write a few words regarding Oak School of Motoring. My son has recently passed his test and Oak School of Motoring were instrumental in helping him pass first time. Paul, his instructor, was excellent from his very first lesson. He was always punctual and never once cancelled or changed a lesson. Paul is very experienced, very calm and had good conversations with my son on every lesson. I believe that a lot more companies out there are offering driving lessons now, but I do not think you can go far wrong calling up Oak School of Motoring first to check on their availability. We certainly will use them again when our youngest is 17.

Fantastic experience: I had Nigel as my instructor, he’s a passionate driving instructor who takes pride in all his lessons. He gave me the confidence and skills needed to pass my test and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for driving lessons, can’t thank Nigel enough!

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my test at Maybush and my driving instructor Phil was super helpful. I was previously with a different driving company, but my experience with Oak and with Phil has been great! Super patient, calm and supportive - making sure I was super confident before he let me take my test. With this being such an uncertain time the Driving school was so good at getting lessons to people and making sure everyone was safe! Great experience, really recommend!

Negative experience: Instructor made me re-fuel his cars several times during my lessons (time I was paying for) when I learned to drive with OAK... w@nker

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my driving test first time. I had my lessons with Steve. He is absolutely brilliant, super patient and calm. I have learned with two other instructors, and I must say Steve must be the best. He put me at ease straight away and I enjoy every lesson very much. I couldn't recommend Steve highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I had to take a test for my Licence as a Chauffeur, and after driving for 44 years i thought I had better tale a few refresher lessons to learn what bad habits i had been driving with for all those years. I choose Oak School of motoring and my instructor Leanne was most helpful and knowledgeable. I knew how to drive, but i needed to know what new things i needed to know for my Driving test. Leanne was patient and extremely helpful, and she quickly identified the areas i needed to practice on. She made up some printed material for me to take away and learn from, and we only needed 2 lessons together to bring me up to speed. I passed my test with just 1 minor, and all thanks to Leanne. I fully recommend Oak School of Driving and especially ask for Leanne as your instructor.

Fantastic experience: Have known Leanne for many many years, so when she told me she was becoming a driving instructor couldn’t think of anyone I’d rather have teach my son than her. She is kind, has the patience of a saint & made my son Liam feel very relaxed and comfortable. So today he took his test for the second time & passed. Very proud of him as he’s only been driving since July. A lot of this is big thanks to Leanne. Can not recommend Leanne enough! Thank you so much Leanne

Fantastic experience: Came to oak for my instructor training, Paul trained me very well and had time to support me throughout my journey, he would always make every effort to fit me in for as many lessons as I needed and was always just a phone call away. He supported me through all 3 of my tests and afterwards too. I can't thank Paul enough for all he did for me and all the support I received. Fantastic experience: I failed my test a couple of times then changed over to oak with steve, then passed my test on the first attempt after that. I was only with him for a month and and bit, he was a brilliant driving instructor, very helpful and really built my confidence with my driving. Couldn’t ask for anything better 10/10

Fantastic experience: I first enquired about becoming a Driving Instructor nearly 20 years ago but was put off by the demands of training with a big company and being tied into an expensive franchise deal. I found OAK School of Motoring was offering Driving Instructor Training and was interested to see how training with a smaller company would compare. I met up with Paul for a chat and was reassured by his non-pushy and more personal approach. I have been able to train at a pace that suited me and have been able to do this alongside my current job, therefore minimising any risk involved in branching out in a new direction. Paul has been very supportive throughout and very patient with me! I have just passed my final exam and am now a qualified ADI and have Paul to thank for giving me the confidence to achieve a long held dream. I would recommend anyone to contact OAK School of Motoring for driving instruction at any level, they are a friendly and competent family company who really care.

Started lessons in May and eight months later passed would recommend them straight away especially if you are nervous he put me at ease straight away especially as I had previously had a bad experience with an instructor.

Fantastic experience: It was time for me to change my career to become an ADI I found osksom via their website I spoke to Paul and arranged a Lesson. After a long chat and my first lesson, he convinced me That this was the right company to help me. I found Paul to be very professional full of advise and knowledge. A positive attitude and friendly instructor. Having sat in on one of his early lessons to get a feel of what he was learning, I found Paul to be patient and encouraging and engaged at the the right level with my son. What I really liked was the way he got the student to self reflect - really important so they recognise their own abilities. Highly recommend and will be back in 18 months when my daughter hits 17!!

Well considering i struggle with anxiety and was a very nervous driver, Steve made me feel completely at ease and helped me pass my test second time within two months of my first test!
