He tries to explain everything that you are unsure of I have recently just passed my driving test thanks to him. He is one of those that teach you what you need and what you want and doesn't go on for ages but explains a way so you understand so I just want to thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great staff had the pleasure of having Troy as my instructor friendly helped me a lot, very considerate of nerves or anything troubling you with driving managed to pass with the guidance couldn’t of asked for a better driving instructor.

I know everyone is saying that about their driving instructors, but personally I hit the jackpot meeting and learning with him. I was such a scared , nervous train wreck But with his guidance and care I’ve passed within first time. That speaks for itself. Right? Fantastic experience: my time with rob was great couldn’t have asked for a better instructor we done a week of long hard hours as that’s what i needed due to working he was so helpful working around me, he was very helpful and spotted things wrong with my driving that not many would be able to and knew exactly how to fix it if you want to get threw your test 1st time like myself i really would recommend pole position driving school (Rob)

Negative experience: Driving instructor does not understand disabled parking bays. Parked up for 30 mins, no blue badge, joined by able bodied student who walked briskly and capably to the vehicle. No blue badge was displayed. Disabilities can be invisible, but their is the regulatory requirement to display the badge.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test on the first try, and I couldn't have done it without my amazing driving instructor, Tony! After struggling with a manual car and feeling anxious about driving, I decided to switch to automatic and found Tony through a friend. This was the best decision I could have made. Tony was incredibly patient, understanding, and supportive throughout the entire process. He really took the time to help me manage my anxiety and build my confidence on the road. His calm and encouraging approach made all the difference, and I always felt comfortable and safe during our lessons. Fantastic experience: Tony is an absolute legend! Couldn't do it without him....literally. I was very nervous, especially with the practice lessons prior to the test and made very silly mistakes along the way. He has an amazingly positive personality which also helps the lesson go smoothly, and less stressful when trying to learn and he's taught me how to become confident in what I'm doing, including becoming a safe driver. Tony kept me calm, "remember to breath" he always to me and I've passed my test today first time with NO MINORS! Will miss the little chats during lessons. I failed my first test, I put it down to nerves, and then took a break from driving to focus on my A-Levels. Fantastic experience: I have put off learning to drive for years because I suffer with anxiety, so I was extremely nervous going into my lessons. But once I plucked up the courage, Rob immediately put me at ease and has a very calm, clear and easy to understand way of teaching. After numerous instructors over a number of years, I found Rob on Facebook he was a fantastic instructor, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to ensure I was ready to pass. He was calm, considerate and understood my ability. He was able to manage my crazy personality and bad language and has got good banter - if you know me I can’t handle awkward silences! He catered a unique 2 week intensive course to my availability and needs. I gained so much confidence and it is all thanks to Rob!! ☺️

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say, hand on heart, I would not be driving solo today had it of not been for Rob's input. I had a lot of anxiety about learning to drive and my two previous instructors were not able to build the necessary confidence yet...then I discovered Pole Position Driving School and my worries seemed to disappear almost overnight! With patience and understanding Rob taught me everything I needed to know finding a great balance between keeping the lessons both informative and enjoyable (shout-out to all the killer tunes). Fantastic experience: I’ve had the pleasure of working with Robert Beach who is the best at what he does. I’ve had the experience of driving in many countries that are automatic, which means I had no need to learn how to drive a manual car. Rob knew this and he made it his challenge to make me one of the best and that he did. I passed my driving test with one silly minor on my first go. So if you’re in or around the Folkstone area, the Pole Position Driving School is a must if you wanna learn how to drive.

He explained everything in detail so that I could understand and if I couldn’t we would go over it again. Fantastic experience: Rob was my third driving instructor I had tried since having on off lessons from the age of 17 so being 25 I knew I now needed my license. From the very first lesson, Rob explained everything in a way I understood and I quickly found myself progressing in areas of driving I previously really didn’t enjoy. Rob was very accommodating to my work schedule and fitting in extra lessons where needed which leading up to my test was really reassuring. Passing my first test with 1 minor considering I hadn’t passed a mock test in my lessons because of nerves shows just how effective Rob’s teaching methods are. I would recommend Pole Position Driving School, particularly Rob to anyone wanting to learn to drive. I’m actually gutted I don’t have weekly lessons with him anymore!
