Negative experience: Unfortunately not a great experience, Called in march and was told no availability and to call back in april! called back in april and he ignored both my calls and then texted me he would give me a call the next day! never called me as he said he would and has ignored my requests for any availability since. Ended up going with another instructor as this one seemed extremely disorganised.

Fantastic experience: Robert is a great driving instructor, very knowledgeable and patient, and he always put me at ease. Occasionally, lessons had to be rearranged at the last minute, but I was always able to get them in soon. I'd be happy to recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I came to Robert after a two year break from driving lessons, because I had found them so stressful - I would dread driving lessons! But with Robert, I felt a lot more relaxed, and I was actually able to enjoy the lessons! I felt so much more confident to take my test, and that then paid off! I would definitely recommend, especially if driving lessons have been a source of stress/worry in the past.

Fantastic experience: I was struggling with my driving, failed two tests and had lost all confidence. So I switched to Robert who's approach was completely opposite (which worked for me) to a previous instructor. Within a short period of time he was able to iron out bad habits while teaching the last few steps I needed to pass, in a very calm way. I would definitely recommend him to anybody. Positive experience: Robert is a fantastic instructor and is very patient. He explained things thoroughly and gave me lots of tips for doing manoeuvres. However I had roughly 23 lessons which took 10 months and I think I could have passed a lot sooner.

He is very patient, and put me at such an ease I am already out on the roads in my own car feeling more confident than I ever thought I would.

Positive experience: After looking for an instructor in North Leeds with good reviews I gave Rob a call. Rob's style is very relaxed and not text book which he explained at the start. Good points:- A really good fella and nice chatting too Relaxed driving style Offered evening lessons Generally turned up on time Gets you out on the roads early when you are ready Discount on block booking Bad points:- Last minute cancellations Not structured learning Constantly worried about damaging his car on potholes His use of mobile during lessons Too many students and so no room for flexibility Sporadic lessons Very unlucky with his car, maybe the most unlucky person in Leeds Rob got me driving which is great after 18 hours but with a new instructor I have a set plan and target, I am now having to cover basic things which were missed at the start of learning which I think could have been ingrained at the start but I guess it is what style of teaching suits each person. Maybe more instructors just want young drivers whose parents spread word of mouth and mature learners tend not to offer this but it seemed his young students got priority when booking and having to rebook lessons.

Fantastic experience: Robert is an excellent driving instructor and I would happily recommend him to anyone. I was 33 when I had my first lesson, and had never been particularly keen to learn, but I came to really enjoy the lessons as Robert helped me build up my skill and confidence with his patient, relaxed approach.
