Green Light Driving School

Fantastic experience: Both my wife and me past first time with Steve. I have now been driving 31 year and never had as much as a parking ticket, wife 21 the same.

Negative experience: I started driving with Green Light after a recommendation from a friend. I stopped learning with Steven after 6 months after i'd had enough of his unprofessionalism. He use to tap the top of my head and loudly say "GOOOOD" in my ear, playing the radio for the full hour and even did the quiz every lesson, he payed more attention to that than my driving. He picked up his dry cleaning without pre-warning me, just asked me to pull up and he got out of the car and said what he was going, I was baffled, I thought he was having a laugh! He never kept track of what i'd learnt and when I asked to try something he was rude, I once asked about doing manoeuvres so after a few asks he pulled me up to this extremely sharp, blind and narrow corner - for my first manoeuvre?! He rushed the instructions at me and just said "Go", I asked him to re-explain but slowly and when I didn't reverse perfectly the first time he shouted at me. Thats the point I realised this was a joke. I never realised how unprofessional Steven was until I had found a fantastic new instructor. edit after reviewing originally 2 years ago: Years later I still stand by what I said. The fact that the reviews above are all written by men and are attacking/against my comments even though i've explained the reasons for how unprofessional this tutor was is very telling. Clearly they were asked to write reviews to hide mine. As a female I wouldn't recommend this tutor to other females - a man might be more forgiving to this behaviour.

Fantastic experience: Steve was a fantastic instructor! The structure of teaching was great and he made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel. I will definitely recommend Steve to family and friends.
