Fantastic experience: Jay is an amazing driving instructor, I just moved to the UK and within the lessons we had I was ready for my test. I passed my theory and my drivers test both on the first attempt and passed them with flying colors. He is a very knowledgeable driving instructor and knows all the rules of the roads and know the Leeds area incredibly well. Lots of little tips, tricks, and suggestions as well for every single lesson. Very very nice man as well, 2 hours for a lesson normally seems long but these went by very quickly, easy to talk to while still being very professional and an amazing instructor. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to use this drivers school as it is very reliable and an amazing tool that should be used by all!

Fantastic experience: Had a series of refresher lessons with Jay as I hadn't driven in 5 years or so and needed to refresh on everything including the basics. Jay was very patient and understanding. Fantastic experience: For new drivers in north Leeds, Jay is the instructor you need. He is amazing at explaining not only how to do anything and everything related to driving but also why it is done in a certain way. He ensures that you can not only pass your test but that you can drive in the real world. I passed my test first time with Jay and he gave me so much confidence in my driving. Besides being a great instructor, Jay is also a really nice person to talk to. when you're spending hours of your time learning to drive with someone. you really want it to be someone who you can have a good conversation with, Jay is very polite, conversational and interesting. With him you get the best of both worlds - amazing instruction and a nice guy to chat to.

In Jay's lessons, you do not only learn to pass the driving test, but also learn to be a competent driver. Once you have skills, you will pass the test. Fantastic experience: I passed first time in Leeds (Harehills) with Jay's help. I had two instructors in the past that weren't good at all, I restarted with Jay and he was great, he helped me with my confidence, starting with the basics and working up to complex situations. He uses analogies to explain concepts that make it easier to understand and apply. We started with the basics and worked up to doing tricky test routes. We practiced all the complex test routes and learned all the common ways people fail on those routines, to a point where my actual test route felt too easy. His method for teaching the manoeuvres is really easy to understand and apply in practice. I was confident throughout my test to a point the only negative feedback I got from the tester was that I need to "just get on with it"; I was too relaxed and cautious. I would recommend doing at-least 4 hours per week and around 40 hours total. Jay was flexible with my schedule once I showed commitment to do those hours. I would recommend Jay to anyone that's serious about passing.

Fantastic experience: i would really recommend jay as a driving instructor because he lets you learn and do things at your own pace. he is very patient and good at telling when you’re nervous or stressed and will help further with driving. he’s very good at explaining the actual workings of a car which helps with learning and i know many instructors who don’t do this. i would recommend him

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Jay was made much easier in his way of teaching. He lets you get hands on immediately, and helps explaining things in various ways until you ‘get it’. If ever in doubt you can always ask him to help you in a different way and he’ll accommodate as much as possible. I was fortunate enough to pass after 7 months first time, so I greatly appreciate the support and flexibility Jay gave me in our lessons.

Fantastic experience: I’m yet to pass my driving test however I feel confident that it will be Jay who gets me there. I’ve had over 40hrs with a different instructor and have learnt more in just three lessons with Jay about how a car actually works I am a nervous driver but my confidence has improved a lot with Jay. He explains things very well and is extremely patient and understanding He is a great people person and is quick to pick up the things that I am struggling with and can adapt his explanations if I don’t understand the first time. Using metaphors has definitely helped me pick things up quicker. Fantastic experience: I passed my test many years ago, but haven't driven for a very long time as it terrifies me quite frankly! Booked a lesson with Jay hoping to get a bit of practise and my confidence back up, and my first lesson has been absolutely fantastic! Fantastic experience: This driving school can be thoroughly recommended for a myriad or good reasons. Jay is a truly fabulous instructor. He is very punctual, and he gives you 100% of his time when you get behind the wheel. The lessons are well thought out and individually tailored to suit the specific requirements of his students. He uses his knowledge of local geography to take you on a variety of different roads, and you have the option of preparing for either the Horsforth or Harehills test routes. In addition to face to face interaction, Jay is also good at electronic communication. The lesson vehicle is a good car, of recent production, and is always kept in tip top condition. All in all a positive experience, provided by a very decent fellow. Bravo Sir!

Came within a week to take me on my test and trust me when I say he is clear, true to his word and comfortable and self soothing on how to perform gear changes and I had one of the best hour and a half driving lesson after. Fantastic experience: The journey with Jay started more than a year ago (covid period) but it was one of the best things happened to me. I found him more than anything being so friendly and open that nothing seemed impossible to achieve. Tbh I was a really bad driver.
