Fantastic experience: I did automatic lessons with Chris to refresh after over 8 years of not driving. Prices are great, I had personal circumstance which meant I'd been wanting to pass my test sooner rather than later, we were able to bring it forward several months and I passed with 'flying colours' I'd recommend these guys if your looking to pass your test with confidence, reliabilty and a pass!

Fantastic experience: Chris was an incredible instructor. I was really nervous and doubted a lot of my own abilities and he put me at ease instantly. I’m now a confident driver thanks to him. He’s really chatty and you’ll have a good laugh along the way too. I passed 1st time and that’s all thanks to him believing in me and calming my nerves. You won’t find better anywhere else.

Negative experience: My son started his driving lessons with pass with flying colours, he completed 9 hours worth of lesson's, to then be told by his instructor that he was leaving as he had another job. I contacted the company several times with no response. My calls went unanswered as did my text messages. No support from the company and no offer of an alternative instructor. Not even an apology. Very disappointed!! We now have to find another instructor so that there isn't a gap in his learning but that's easier said than done!!

Fantastic experience: Chris was my driving instructor for nearly a year and he was very calm, patience and helpful. I have had previous instructors and always struggled learning to drive but Chris made it all make sense and im so happy to have finally passed. I would recommend flying colours and Chris to everyone

Had a pretty bad start to driving with previous instructors who were truly awful so I had really low confidence when I began driving but Chris is a very kind, patient and funny guy. Fantastic experience: I passed 1st time today with massive thanks to Chris! Learning to drive can be incredibly tough and challenging, previously I have had multiple driving instructors that have not been patient, tricky to communicate with as I was a very nervous driver. It has been rewarding to find finally a fantastic instructor who has really helped my progression and confidence on the road. He’s been incredibly patient and kind with a few good laughs on the side, I would highly reccomend Chris to seize great results and surpass your nerves.

Fantastic experience: Recently passed with instructor Chris and couldn’t be happier with my experience. He was always so calm and feedback was always given from him in a positive, motivating manner which also put myself at ease. Fantastic experience: Chris W was my instructor at Flying Colours. Was. He was my instructor because Chris helped me pass my test! He is a excellent gentlemen. Informative. Calm. Encouraging. Engaging. His years as a education teacher really have shaped him at being good at delivering education in a fun way. Learning to drive is serious matter, but driving with Chris is a bit like driving with a very good freind. And I mean that in a very complimenting way. He makes you feel alert but calm and made me feel like i have been driving with him for years, even though we only met for lessons. Fantastic experience: i would highly recommend learning to drive with flying colors and especially John Butt. i have had a few different driving instructors in the pass but none of them where as good and John Butt. John was an amazing teacher and made me feel ready to take my driving test and pass it. he was very patient and made sure that i understood where my mistakes were and that I know what to do to correct them. He made me feel confident in the choices I made and most importantly made know when my choices where the best in the situation or what i could have done better. John is a very lovely person who teaches incredibly well and has a laugh while doing so. i don't feel like i would have every passed my test without him. I couldn't recommend john or flying colors any more, they are amazing.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my instructor John at Flying Colours, having recently passed my test on my first attempt! With no previous experience, I was initially nervous - however John was so easy to get on with, he quickly made learning fun and helped me gain confidence on the road. If you don't mind a bit of teasing now and then, he is a really good laugh and I always looked forward to our lessons. Also, he was excellent for test preparation and really pushes you to do your best, beyond the requirements of the test. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend learning to drive with flying colours. Chris was an amazing teacher throughout. As a first time learner he makes you feel very at ease and comfortable in the car. He is extremely patient when your learning and full of praise when your doing well. No question was a silly question and he’s always happy to run over things time and time again. Fantastic experience: I heard many, many fantastic things about Flying Colours in past so have decided to give it a go myself. I started my lessons at the end of June 2021. I'm a mum to a 4 year old and working full time - with such a limited time to take lessons I was surprised how smooth everything was going . I passed my test middle of March 2022 first time with only 2 faults and I could not be more proud of it. I became more confident and feeling more independent now. ALL THANKS to Chris W. and Flying Colours! My lessons were fun, relaxing and full on - they don't waste time taking you to drive around car park for hours . The best experience. Fantastic experience: Chris is a legend ! I was very worried having just moved to the UK and seen how driving seemed like in a different country . I was clear about my objectives of wanting to pass first time only . This was just a matter of weeks to my practical driving test . I contacted Chris having heard good reviews from colleagues and we had lessons . Straightaway ,he takes you through what’s expected of you as a driver . He talks you through scenarios that you may encounter and then goes on to demonstrate them to you . He is very hands on , patient and always goes over everything in detail to be sure you’re safe . He makes you confident in taking independent decisions and he’s very clear and honest in his reviews ! He monitors your progress and you’d be surprised at the next lesson how much he could remember from the last time ! Before every session , both parties know what’s going to happen on the next lesson ! Even when I felt too comfortable later on with my lessons , Chris purposely tested some manoeuvres again with more emphasis on technique and safety . They served as timely reminders and these things would stay with me always anytime I get behind the steering wheel ! I think if I could do it , you too can pass first time with Chris ! Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Chris Watts from flying colours enough. I started my driving lessons 2 years ago, and had to navigate through lockdowns and covid. I’ve had tests postponed and cancelled and without Chris I would of given up. But he kept his faith in me and kept me going, and I would never of gotten the pass without him. He always reassured me and put my mind at ease, aswell as teaching me really well and encouraging me to carry on. I am so thankful that he was my driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just passed! Couldn’t have done without C.Watts, during lockdown I had been learning with my husband and knew I wasn’t up to test standard, managed to book Chris in this very busy time and he got me ready to pass within 4 weeks! Would 100% recommend! Very friendly and makes you feel comfortable (I’m a very anxious driver!) but if you need silence also (I’m not great at multi tasking!) he’s great at assessing your needs and while driving. So happy I managed to book him , I’m 8.5 months pregnant also with 2 year old and needed to drive ASAP!

Fantastic experience: Great instructor, Chris was very patient considering my anxiety about driving. Others I spoke to from the office were very kind.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Flying Colours - I learnt with Chris in an automatic- he was so patient, absolutely fantastic teacher. I left it a little later in life to learn to drive, and never thought I would, however he gave me so much confidence in myself and I have now passed my test ! He is relaxed and made learning to drive fun. Without doubt I would recommend Chris and Flying Colours 100 percent!!

Negative experience: Haven’t had any lessons with them. However, whilst cycling in the cycle lane heading to work this morning, one of the INSTRUCTORS decided to drive over a cross junction right in front of me. Hankering on the brakes wasn’t enough. I couldn’t stop in time. Thankfully she just kept crossing and with a swerve from me further into the road, we just missed each other. Flashing cycling lights and she still says she “didn’t see me”. Didn’t look more like! And she’s meant to be a professional. Surely that’s a test fail right there?

Fantastic experience: Best driving school ever come across. I had a bad experience trying to learn last year and gave up for a while. Found this school and the instructor was kind, paitent and made me feel so relaxed. Definitely highly recommended to anyone wanting to learn
