Edwards School of Motoring

With over three decades of experience, Edwards School of Motoring stands as a cornerstone of driving education in Bournemouth and the surrounding regions. Founded by Steve Edwards, the school is built on a philosophy of patience, safety, and effective learning, ensuring that every student, regardless of their starting point, feels confident behind the wheel. Whether you are a complete beginner, a novice driver, or someone looking to refresh their skills after passing their test, the instructors provide tailored guidance designed to demystify the driving experience.

Convenience is at the heart of their service. Understanding that modern schedules can be tight, the school offers flexible lesson bookings that adapt to your personal routine. From busy professionals to college students, lessons can be arranged to fit your availability. Additionally, the service includes free pick-up and drop-off services, allowing students to start their lessons right from their workplace, home, or school, and return safely without worrying about parking or navigation.

Safety is paramount, which is why all training vehicles are equipped with dual controls. This feature provides an essential layer of security for both the student and the instructor, offering peace of mind during every maneuver, from city center traffic to hill starts. The teaching approach is consistently described as calm, friendly, and fun, aiming to reduce the anxiety often associated with learning to drive. The goal is not just to pass the test, but to create safe, capable drivers for life.

Beyond standard hourly lessons, Edwards School of Motoring offers a range of specialized courses. These include intensive driving courses for those eager to learn quickly, motorway driving lessons to conquer high-speed traffic, and the Pass Plus scheme to enhance post-test skills. They also offer refresher lessons for qualified drivers who wish to regain confidence. Located in the heart of Bournemouth, the school serves not only this area but also extends its reach to Christchurch, Poole, Ferndown, and other nearby locations. With competitive pricing, including special rates for students, and a reputation built on 35 years of local expertise, Edwards School of Motoring remains the trusted choice for drivers in the region.
