Fantastic experience: Learning how to drive can be super stressful and challenging so I have decided to write a well informed review after completing the expert/intermediate driving course and PASSING my practical examination soon after with my instructor Zahir. Right off the bat, Zahir had a very approachable and personable character which made me so much more comfortable when driving, allowing me to take in as much information as he gave me without feeling overwhelmed. He was also very open about modifying his teaching style in order to accommodate for me, which allowed me to excel much faster than I thought possible. The communication between myself and Zahir was very transparent and never felt pressured and was widely encouraged. Most importantly, he equipped me well with all the tools I needed to pass my exam, ensuring I was 100% comfortable with all road rules, mirror checking, clutch control and my least favourite… round-a-bouts. I went into my test believing I could do it and it made all the difference. It is amazing what a good instructor can do. Who would have thought you could pass a practical exam with so few lessons. Fantastic experience: Expectations Exceeded! Zahir has the patience of a saint, came from Birmingham to Cheltenham especially. If like me, you started late with driving (I’m 26) and had the pressure of all your mates passing when they were 17, then Zahir can get you fast tracked and where you want to be. If you don’t get something, he’ll go over and over it until you understand it. Such a good teacher. Did my theory 15th June, had 30 hours of lessons 19th-28th June. Passed my test on the 28th. All done in 2 weeks! Massive weight off my shoulders all thanks to Zahir. Top bloke.

Fantastic experience: Zahir is an amazing instructor who taught me how to drive safely and helped me pass my test first time. He would always arrive on time and got straight into teaching not wasting any time unlike other instructors. He was very calm and I didn’t feel uncomfortable with him at all. Fantastic experience: completed the course from 4th to 7th june 2024 I had bad habits from driving as a learner for 3 months but zahir is great instructor, I passed with two minors and really had little to no worry about passing my test, i wouldnt have passed without the course i really recommend doing this if youre wanting to learn how to drive and pass first time

Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin?! I decided to take on a 36-hour intensive driving course, and considering it had been 10 years since my last attempt at learning to drive, I was incredibly nervous. However, the moment I got in the car with Zahir, all my worries vanished! Zahir's patience, kindness, and warm energy made it easy for me to focus and enjoy the learning process. He made each lesson enjoyable with his witty banter and clear practical tips and tricks. Even when I experienced what felt like a brain freeze on day 4 and kept making mistakes, Zahir continued to encourage me and helped me believe in my abilities. He knew exactly when to switch from jokes to serious, from quiet to chatty, and most importantly, he allowed me to make mistakes so I could learn from them. Although I didn't pass my test this time (which I attribute to nerves and not fully applying myself), I am confident in everything Zahir taught me. I can proudly say I now know how to drive, and I’m sure Zahir will help me pass next time! I will definitely be booking with him again and recommending him to everyone I know.

Positive experience: After not having luck at south yardley, I suggested to zahir to try my luck at garrets green. I also opted for 3 x 2 hr crash course prior to test, zahir was very calm, showed me the errors I was making and how to improve them. Thought it took a while, I passed due to Zahir’s support and my persistence, would recommend zahir.

Negative experience: Awful no communication around cancelling lessons tells me 1 hour before what time my lesson is even though I give her a weeks notice that I want a lesson sits on her phone Tells me last minute directions Very arrogant and rude and expects me to drive that way not giving way to cars even when my side is blocked she pushes me to go through I have been brought up with respect I’m not trying to be taught the way taxi drivers drive I feel intimidated because I am white few comments have been made about the way white people drive when in my person opinion the shoe fits the other side Personal hygiene the car stinks of bad sweat and the instructors person hygiene around her breath not to be rude but it’s stinks at least chew a chewing gum if your not gunna brush them really off putting when your paying good money for a hour lesson

I passed second time and only reason I diddnt the first time was down to 1 tiny thing that was completely my fault from losing concentration. Negative experience: Lazy and unprofessional! Pulled into the test centre on the day with a broken brake light so I had to take my test in a borrowed car I’ve never driven before! On top of this I was already having to make my own way to his local test area because he didn’t want to come and pick me up? Completely set up for failure. My first major came almost immediately trying to steer this random car round a bend (using a wheel way looser than any car i’ve ever been in. Would also like to mention he gets bored easily and will just go on his phone and forget to direct you in time. Would avoid.

Fantastic experience: Zahir is a phenomenal driving instructor. I completed a 30-hour intensive driving course with him within a week and the time flew very quickly by. I was quite nervous going into the course, because you spend so much time with someone that you have never met before, but he was lovely to sit with day in/day out and talk to. Every day he would break down something new for me to learn and demonstrated difficult topics with diagrams that a 5-year-old could understand. We slowly we created a strong friendship where he started becoming very passionate about my driving. At the end of the first day, I managed to drive home into Birmingham city centre and by the end of the week, I was 100% solid and test ready with his guidance. Even when I barely failed my practical test the first time around, we both jumped back on the horse a few weeks later and picked up where we left off, so I could pass the second time with just under 40 hours of total lessons. I will always cherish the time we spent together and remember the various times we sat in Costa Coffee shops. When I drink a coconut vanilla latte, I will always think of him on my first day, scared to crash his car haha. Cheers for everything Zahir, you will be forever remembered as a star.

With 17 years of experience under his belt as a driving instructor he knows what your strengths and weaknesses of driving and how to effectively target them to pass your practical test. I booked an intensive course of 30 hours spread out over a week and with Zahir's guidance I managed to pass first time with only 4 minors. If you play your cards right he might even treat you to a Morrisons breakfast.
