Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Bilal enough! He helped me pass my driving test, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without him. He was super flexible with scheduling and really tailored the lessons to focus on the areas I struggled with. He’s so patient and always took the time to explain things clearly, even if I needed to go over them a few times. His attention to detail and high standards gave me the confidence I needed to feel prepared for the test. On top of that, he’s just a really nice, genuine person who made learning to drive a lot less stressful. If you’re looking for someone who really cares about their students, he’s the one!

Fantastic experience: I had a great refresher driving lesson with Bilal. I already hold a French driving licence but I wanted to take a lesson before driving in the UK for the first time in order to feel more comfortable. We spent 2 hours going through different situations like roundabouts, motorway, parking and Bilal is a great instructor, he explained everything very clearly and he was very patient. Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about the refresher driving sessions I had! After years of not driving, even though I still had my license, I was honestly a bit nervous about getting back on the road. But Bilal was absolutely amazing and did wonders for my confidence. From the get-go, he made me feel completely at ease. It was like having a patient friend in the passenger seat rather than an instructor. He really took the time to listen to what I was worried about and customized our sessions to tackle those specific fears. He emphasized safe driving and being aware of everything around us, which really helped sharpen my skills and boost my confidence. Honestly, if you're looking to get back into driving and need that confidence boost, I couldn't recommend him more.

Fantastic experience: Bilal, as a driving instructor in the southwest London area, provided lessons for my spouse last summer. And, thanks to Bilal’s lessons, my spouse passed his driving test the first time with zero faults! Well, as a U.S. expat living in London, it’s now my turn to face my fears of driving on the opposite side of the road with heaps of different roads signs and markings, roundabouts, tiny roads, rude drivers, tons of cyclists, etc. To add context, I am a person with a short temper and easily frustrated when it takes me multiple attempts to accomplish tasks (especially, related to driving after having drove in the U.S. for decades). Bilal’s ability and flexibility in finding the right approach to communicating with me effectively, while diffusing my frustration, deserves major kudos! Additionally, he provides robust feedback, refers to diagrams when I need it, and sets targets. For each lesson we discuss my goals, what went well, what could go better, and, if, or what, I want to continue in terms of goals for another driving lesson. Lastly, I appreciate how Bilal provides excellent tips that simplify the challenges faced for passing the exam, as well as, making me an overall better / safer driver. I highly recommend Bilal! I'd sum up Bilal as this: very approachable, friendly, encouraging, and maintains a calm demeanor; importantly, Bilal is easy to understand. He even asks me questions to gain insight into what will work best to help me learn versus the plain dictatorial, “do this because I said so approach.” Oh, and he’s prompt with responding to inquiries. I have driven in the US for many years, but Firstway helped me navigate the UK roads and prepare for the UK driving test.
