Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend as an instructor. Pearce was easy to work with and arrange lessons around my work schedule. He always sent reminders the day before the lesson and picked me up on time. He knows the area and testing routes very well and I felt prepared for my test. The day of the lesson we practiced all the manoeuvres and drove around the test centre so I felt more confident and I passed on the first attempt!

Fantastic experience: Pierce is an amazing driving instructor. He'll work with you when it comes to your schedule, his rates are great and you always feel supported throughout the process from the theory test all the way up to the driving test. As an American learning to drive on the left side of the road (it was all backwards to me at first) in the UK his patience and understanding of my shortcomings (I was also bit arrogant as a late 40s New Yorker alpha driver who felt he knew everything) was much appreciated. His research is impeccable. Depending on where your test is, he will take you through the various streets the examiner will most likely take you so you are thoroughly prepared. My test was in Morden. He took me through all the roads we would most likely go on during the exam and he pointed out places where the examiner's might trick me for example a hidden bus lane. Yes, he can be tough on you when you are learning but by doing that he is setting the bar high so when you eventually do the real exam it will be easy. Seriously, Pierce is the real deal. Hire him ASAP.

Fantastic experience: Amazing, passed first time at Tolworth. Pearce is a great driving instructor, and very knowledgeable about the test routes. Punctual, "thorough", and always giving feedback during the lesson to correct bad habits. At the end before your test you will remember his voice pointing out every little detail you need to do to pass! On the side he has some good recommendations for food and places to visit almost like a Local Guide :D .. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: Pearce has a great attention to detail and I passed my test first time with him. In the months prior to learning with Pearce I had taken 15 hours with another instructor (who at the time I thought was good). In the 10 hours I had with Pearce I learnt an awful lot more and he really showed me how to pass the test. He has high standards which are essential to passing given the stringent nature test. He also gave me extra lessons on a Friday and Sunday before my test on Monday so that I was comfortable passing - which was very kind. Would recommend highly!

Fantastic experience: Pearce was my driving instructor. I took test at Morden Driving Test Center and passed with only two minors in the second week of November, 2022. Pearce is highly recommended especially if you are going to take test at Test Centers - Morden, Tolworth and Isleworth. He is one of the very few manual driving instructors in the areas mentioned. He knows test routes in depth, specifically the challenging exceptions that each test route presents. Pearce is flexible in terms of availability despite being fully booked. He works equally hard and has sole motto to get license done in first attempt. The car is very well maintained and prepared for the test. I am quite certain that you will pass your driving test in first attempt if you simply follow and execute the instructions by Pearce. Best wishes!

Fantastic experience: Pearce is an incredible driving instructor. He knows his stuff pretty well and moreover he’s got the natural gift to convey his driving knowledge to his students. I passed my driving test at first and that was all due to careful instructions I had received previously from Pearce. His fees compared to other driving instructors are ridiculously low. He charges 320£ per 10 sessions, that’s 32£/hour.

Fantastic experience: Pearce has a very high standard for driving and instills this very precisely, and with lots of patience, in his students. He is a great communicator and always on the ball, pointing out every detail you encounter, so each lesson is very enriching. His tips on manoeuvres are excellent and he has helped me get on the road to being a much better driver. Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I contacted Pearce quite last minute as I received a practical test booking with only a week’s notice and also had another work exam I was preparing to take. I hadn’t driven manual regularly for a number of years and my previous experience was in the US with fairly different rules and styles. He managed to squeeze me in for four lessons and drove me to the testing centre with some extra practice for the two hours leading up to it. Not only was he super accommodative, worked with my schedule, he was patient and helped me quickly come up to speed on the appropriate techniques, positioning on an unfamiliar side of the road and car, reconditioning my manual techniques and undoing most of my bad habits from 23 years of driving. The practical exam is not easy and yet I managed to pass with Pearce’s guidance and coaching and would not have passed without his lessons. I highly recommend him as an instructor and would suggest reaching out to him well in advance of your practical so you have time to fit in a good amount of practice.
